The acting of this show is just mindblowing. Those actors are always at the top of their game. The writing delivers, but it is the soundtrack and photography that complete the ensamble SO WELL. It is just like a fantastic orchestra of arts.

Love how this started off as an interview about Westworld and it just turned into 6 friends debating technology and privacy and how it might affect our future. Literally had conversations like this myself with my friends :)) Forgot I was even watching an interview at one point :))

In S2- there was a scene involving Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris and Jeffrey wright..the sheer amount of acting skill in that frame was off the roof and jaw dropping.

Ed Harris is great. This show does have the same themes: Death or being-toward-death as the limit of human possibilities, freedom and there can be no freedom without death, the voice of conscience that was Dolores awakening, etc.

This was really cool. I like how you just let the actors talk to each other and allow a conversation to develop.
I understand how ppl may be bugged by how the different seasons seem so different from each other, and also importantly how the latest seasons seem to have diverged from the first two seasons, which obviously set the whole series for viewers. Personally, I think the series is just the more strong and interesting for how it doesnt shy away from evolving locations, characters personalities, arcs, and overall drama. To me, the overarching drama is about AI revolution, and I think the show does such a credible and comprehensive job at exploring this very compelling topic. We are used to shows exploring situational type drama, i.e. drama somewhat fixed in space and time. However, AI revolution representing such a powerful paradigm shift, I can only praise Westworld for keeping its exploration so "credible and comprehensive" precisely by "evolving locations, characters personalities, arcs, and overall drama" so... well, dramatically. Can't wait for this brand new season to unfold and surprise me!
This. Thats exaclty what i was searching for. Just finished season 4 and was mesmerized again by the actors performances and the message under this peace of art of a show. This show is reflecting really on what technology might become to us and there was no video I could find about people analysing it. And i find this with the proper actors. Gratifying on all aspects.

It doesn't actually matter if you 'like' something or not, that's just one way they track you. They actually see the patterns on the screen - so what you stop at, how long you stopped at it, etc. etc.

Incredible panel and chat. This is one of the most intelligent and forward chat I've heard by actors that I can remember.
Not to downplay other actors, but this puts These actors on that much of a higher level.
Evan starts the conversation about social media and suggestions and things being downloaded into your brain and then she goes old school and places the product right behind her in the camera shot.
But I absolutely love this cast!! ❤️

I freaking love James Marsden
Miss Anthony Hopkins as Ford, and glad Teddy/ James Marsden is back. Always loved the old movie Westworld, love how they have explored this whole concept of AI and sentience, and datamining, privacy, etc. Never liked those Disneyland hats either, makes you think. . . I always got creepy vibes at Disney when I was little, but so many of my friends loveeee DisneyLand/World. Really wanted a look at Medieval World park, but oh well. Anthony Hopkins had the best lines/quotes, and delivered them so well. Looks like they are exploring Futureworld. I also loved how they / Evan started talking about Social media and its consequences on society as a whole.
Been off social media since 2011. Westworld def confirmed I made the right decision

6:27 I believe Bernard emerged AFTER everyone's storyline (maybe not Delores') and the woman he meets is also Caleb's daughter grown up. Just the way the showrunner has the two characters in the same episode kinda made it obvious, plus what he says here and everyone's angst reaction has me thinking his role is significantly LARGE this season

Wonder why Thandiwe wasn't on the panel. Hopefully her role this season is more satisfying-I know she was pretty disappointed with her season 3 story, and I totally agree with her. Hoping Maeve becomes a great and complex character again!
Her marriage is in divorce. I haven't found any interviews with her.
so happy to see the cast , i really hope that season 4 will be more complicated to understand like season 2 was.. i loved how all the community had theories and all, Season 3 wasn't as interesting to me , the good thing was to show that human were already in loops like the hosts... i watching season 3 again and i can't wait to start season 4. i hope all the success you should deserve guys, all great cast, Triple A + actors and actresses. let's just hope the maker of it still have their 5 seasons plan and do not change it . cos i want a real end... love you all .

Evan Rachel Wood hit the nail on the head talking about the ai recommendation algorithms in social media. Except, of course, it's not just social media now. It's your browser, youtube, google, everything is tailored to get you to click or interact with something for advertising dollars or political programming and it's horrifying. See the documentary The Great Hack and you'll vibe with S3 a lot more PLUS learn what's happening to you every day.
This cast is awesome and so is this 4th season.

I refer to Dolores in Charlotte's Host-body as Charlotte Abernathy.
One thing that disappointed me in S3 is that we didn't get to see Caleb and Dolores get together and become a couple.
Ed Harris's character isn't an AI he's an UI - Uploaded Intelligence.
Caleb and Dolores should not have been a couple. Dolores and Caleb had a great friendship but there wasn't any romantic chemistry there compared to her and Teddy or Young William. Also I don't think that every guy and girl should be coupled, sometimes it better they stay friends.

With what Ed Harris is saying I hope the plot of SE04 isn't less complex and more straightforward than SE03. I like the classical idea that a story begins as a complex weave of characters and their intersectional stories and ends with the unraveling --- the denouement.
What's with these brothers being the best creators/actors these days?
The Nolan brothers, Russo brothers, The Duffer Brothers, The Trio of Hemsworth brothers, Daniel Abraham & Ty Franck aka James S.A. Corey; Carter Bays & Craig Thomas [not literally brothers but still].
Seriously the best of the best stuff in last few years has been made or acted by these guys.
I love the show and all the actors. The ending of season 4 was great. Everything I had hoped to see was there. Very well scripted. Very glad to see Dolores return even if it's just not quite her or real just yet......

Thought they were in the same room initially but it isn't. Extremely similar tastes evidently, if you look their walls are nearly the same color and the couches are very similar.
I think they are calling in from an office space. Not uncommon for conference/breakout rooms to have the same decor.
I feel like the most succesful shows have a cast of people who (almost) all work well with each other.

Interesting to hear the perspectives of the actors on the show. Clearly they are much more impressed with the direction that Westworld has taken then the viewers are.

There were multiple copies of Dolores out there. Including the one in Laurence's body in the final ep of S3. For all we know there could have been even more made. She rebuilt her body at the end of Season 2 after leaving the Park as Hale. Having another version of Dolores...who thinks she's someone else...or simply a new persona in the shape of Dolores is not really surprising. When copies can be made of characters, host or human, the actors can always come back.

We definitely get the impression that she is in some kind of simulation, and we see her looking over the same hologram graphic of NY that appears to be in the Delos building. It all has a feeling of her being controlled/tested/repurposed by Halores, which would fit with your suggestion.

James Marsden is making a Fool of himself by promoting this Show. His role is only 60 seconds long. Aaron Paul has a much bigger and substantial role than Marsden's
That’s only the first episode. Jeffrey Wright wasn’t in the first episode at all and yet we know he’s one of the main characters.
