People like me, who are suppressed in their countries and every day face a new crisis, know how important the message your video tries to transfer is.

Great video Vashik. As many times as I’ve read Frankl and other works it’s amazing how easy it is to subconsciously slip into a mentality of pursuing happiness of good feelings when in fact sometimes the deepest meaning is found in difficult and even painful experiences. I think fundamentally when I can focus on pursuing meaning rather than happiness things go much better for me. Thanks for the reminder.

This new video just jumped to the top of the list of all your videos I have watched. All have been useful and impactful. This one elevates the idea of. MEANING to the mountaintop.

The wisest man that ever lived tried to find meaning... He searched it in gold, in wine, in women, in creating things. I am talking about the king Solomon. And he wrote in the book of Ecclesiastes "Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity." and he went on 12 chapters talking about this meaning, this purpose and how he tried to find and fulfill it. And at the end of the discourse he said,
Ecc 12:13,14 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Anyone's life will be meaningless without knowing FOR SURE where you are going when you die: heaven or hell

Absolutely right. And not just your eternal destiny, but living for Christ in the here and now, as well.

I agree but why thru Jesus, peace be upon him, development of a relationship, then finding religion, living according to the plan, with that comes inner peace, self love, generosity, and knowledge! Isha Allah, we all can and will see Paradise! Assalamalakum!!

We cannot find "meaning" in life until we know what the purpose of life is. The purpose of life is to know God, through Jesus Christ. That's where everything must begin.

@@karenbota3118 Nope. Jesus Christ is Lord, whether you bow the knee or not. Like it or not, you live in the world He designed and created. No one can get away from this fact. There IS no meaning apart from Him. Repent and turn to Him now, while He still grants you breath to do so. After you die or He returns, whichever happens first, it is too late.
