Yes, need part 2!
Definitely a part 2, but also a part 3 where we add hearing and reactions as well as being able to return the AI to its original pattern once the AI loses track of the player. What if they hear us and turn in our direction but we hid so they dont see us but we want them to investigate the area where we were and then return to their idle state if they cant find us? Also, how do we put weapons in their hands? How to make them block with shields? How do we add multiple attacks like sometimes they swing one time and sometimes they swing multiple times. How do we allow them to cast spells and decide when to cast them?
Can you explain the State Machine and when and why to use it? Do we even need it?

To debug the AI sensing while playing press ' (apostrophe) then use numpad key's 1-5 to enable/disable the different parts of the AI system ( make sure to select the enemy you want to debug in the map). Tab will give you spectator mode. You can add a cooldown decorator to the attack task to easily stop the looping attack(Right click on the attack task in the tree and add a cooldown then set the cooldown time). Update the healthbar on the event any damage and not on tick. Otherwise not a terrible quick and dirty way to prototype if a enemy is fun to fight or not.
Looks good!
thank you!!
Thanks! 👍
thank you so much for the support!
Really appreciated this even though I'm not even making the golem a boss but an npc instead lmao
Thanks!
thanks for the support again!!
Would love to see an advanced AI tutorial using the Goblins animation pack from Ramsterz :D Keep up the good work!
Love it, ❤. Can you make a video on VFX Niagra like an attack slash or something like that, that would be great!
thank you!! I was actually thinking on that!!
@@GorkaGames Nice 👍
11:19 "There is no specific socket to attach it to." Scrolls past the 2 sockets that you are supposed to attach those meshes to. 😅
Life saver. This isn't the only tutorial I have seen miss the sockets.
Hey, new to making games in unreal engine 5 or programming in general. For some reason, everything works for me. I can interact with the mount I made, move them around. But I can't dismount off it, or even open the pause menu I made. I followed the code and it says it's working, but if I try to press "F" to dismount while I am on them, it just won't register the button press, or any other UI I made won't work either.
Hi, really like your video. But, some time, you make thing way different on each video or video are missing content. I'm currently working on the inventory system. I've followed the cast to put the actor in inventory based on your RPG video with the enum system and DB for weapon but now I cannot find a proper way to retreive the Static mesh from the BP_Weapon I've made and apply it to a Socket on the BP_ThirdPersonShooter.
Much love brother please when u can do a how to make a 3D fight game like SIFU please it’s rare to find something like this I asked many times 😢😢😢
this blueprint was too difficult for me. I was thinking something more simple. ai move > box collision > attack animation 👌
Can you make this for shooting ai
would you like to active Subtitle ... thanks a lot.
👌
Amigo vas a tener q usar más zoom en tu pantalla no llego a leer casi nada
