In case anyone's curious, the pull-up bar I use at 5:15 for the front lever pulls is an i-beam pull-up bar made by Pro Mountings. I got mine on Amazon here amzn.to/33NWX4c but you can probably find them other places too. I haven't shown that bar on my channel yet so thought I'd mention it. Enjoy the variations! 💪😊👍
Thanks for this! I do L Sit Pullups at the start of every workout and have been trying to widen my grip to make them more challenging. I turned 61 this year and find that calisthenic exercises are the least dangerous for guys as we age. You've got a great channel!
Thanks Ryan, your channel/ approach is exactly what I was looking for. I went from dying to complete half a circuit of Push, Squat, Pull, Hinge... to doing 2 complete circuits. My numbers are nothing to brag about, but I can see myself progressing really good!
Im reasonably fit and strong for 50. I love to workout but can only do around 2 pull ups. So for that reason I love the assisted pull up machine in the gym, where I can use the counter weight to make it easier to do pull ups, and do sets of 10 to 20.. Anyway great content and channel man.
Thanks for sharing this short film with us. I’m one year post open heart surgery and looking to strengthen my arms sufficiently to complete even one set of pull up reps. Advice for building the required arm muscle mass pretty much from scratch would be even more helpful pls
