- The three personal planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars) have higher consciousness expressions through their bigger siblings (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto). We'll take a look at what these planetary energies mean in your natal astrology chart in terms of how the personal planets connect with your self-identity and personal needs, and then interact with the soul's growth and energy imprints from many lifetimes as expressed through the outer planets.
The higher octave of Mercury is Uranus.
The higher octave of Venus is Neptune.

I have a friend who has asberger’s and has a strong mercury - Uranus square. I have read that hard aspects between mercury and Uranus are common among people with autism. Now that I have listened to Molly’s explanation it makes sense. If Uranus frees Mercury from the limits of the mind, then I would think that a mercury-Uranus square runs the risk of you being “trapped” in your mind, yes? My friend referred to herself as a floating head on a body, completely dissociated from her whole self, before she started to do yoga and heal her trauma and learn how to manage her autism.
Interesting! And glad she found a way to feel better, autism can be very challenging.

I’m looking at how dichotomies can become increasingly conflicted and polarized. (US political scene, case in point) We do this within ourselves as well when pulled in opposing directions. Eg. mind/heart conflicts. Then along comes Uranus and unexpected events change our perspective. Uranus, the gift of insight...when things are seen from a higher vantage point. We need to lift up beyond the extremes to find improved interaction. 10/23.

I have not heard before that planet Neptune is a feminine archetypal energy and so it was hard for me to hear it called a "big sister". However, I agree that he is the higher octave of Venus' energy. Appreciate if you could clarify or offer your source on that.
Thank you for this! Any thoughts on what a quincunx might mean in respect of the higher/lower octave planets? (In my case, Uranus in 12th h. Scorpio quincunx Mercury in 5th h. Aries.) Is this aspect strong enough to bring in these transformational energies?
Very interesting! I have mercury rx in Taurus oppose uranus rx in Scorpio so I am fascinated. (This transit chart has sun Scorpio at 4 degrees and my natal is sun Taurus at 4 degrees) ♥️

I have Mercury conjunct Uranus
Also Mars conjunct Pluto (in exact trine to Saturn in Capricorn)
Venus sextiles my SD Neptune
People, in the know, usually pick me as a Scorpio (I'm intense AF) or an Aquarius (I'm crazy AF). Even though l have, or in spite of, a Cancer Sun and Ascendant and a Virgo Stellium.
I also have the 3 planets that rule the Mutable signs in the Stationary phase. Mercury is SRx and Jupiter & Neptune are SD. And as if that ain't enough all are in T Squares.

incredible video. with a very similar birthchart the oppositions are not hard, it is like knowing the universe knows best on the deepest level and I didnt understand until right now that not everyone can easily access this viewpoint. the square is more hard, feels like its out of control of all logic
In my chart, every one of those pairs are in signs that square, however none are exactly square

Thank you. I have pluto opposing my ASC in aries and thats enough power control to deal with. But not direct conection with mars. This mars retrograde is a blessing that helped me realize how much a was giving my power and energy away to others.
That's an interesting perspective Molly, but what I don't understand is how can the outer planets that have only been "discovered" several hundred years ago and are NOT visible from Earth, have so much powerful archetypal energy attributed to them ?
I've heard that when the planets are discovered humans are at an evolved point of being open to the energies for change. The energy is always there of course, but our awareness is expanded with the discoveries.

Oh, wow, this is amazing! All of my personal planets square their higher expressions. 25 Venus Virgo square 22 Neptune in Sagittarius. 22 Pluto in Libra square my Mars at18 Cancer. 26 Uranus Scorpio square my 26 Leo Mercury. I actually have a very, very big fear around being controlled, and "losing" myself (lost myself many, many, many times in past lives and this one) to the collective and/or other people.

22 lib Plu on MC
26 Sco Ura (sq 23 Aqu Merc)
I have no fear of losing myself whatsoever, 4 planets in Virgo, sun in 2nd house.

Any help with an injured Neptune?
All my other planet s are health; even Venus....this has brought confusion until now. I was injured on a spiritual level thru. Multiple relationships, now this higher injury is blocking my moving forward in physical relationships in the Earthly plan.

My twin flame has this in his solar retur chart (birthday oct 22.) and actually in his natal chart he has mars conjunct pluto and venus conjunct neptune. He also has mercury and uranus in the same sign, but 14˚ apart. 💛💛✨✨
