Thanks for uploading this i was there that day at 13 years old with my cousin who worked the event. We were standing pretty close by the track because he had staff passes.i go to go into the athletes lounge and eat lunch with tommy clowers and got autographs and played video games with the other fmx guys and took a photo with bucky lasek and bob burnquist.was a day i will always remember.its crazy to think i would start 8th grade like 3 days after this and my second day of school that year the world would change forever because September 11th would happen.
Awesome you got to attend! That’s a cool story my man. Lunch with Clowers and meeting a couple skate gods. Really too bad that tragic event happened right in the middle of the action sports boom. Freestyle kept me going in those days ✊
@@conordonnelly4290 there were a lot of different tricks they all tried and sometimes you just can’t quite figure it out. I had the same problem trying them side saddle off a tiny step up. You spin and then look for the bike and it’s flying beside you 😂 kinda like Twitch and the 360. He could spin em cool in the pit, but no way it was landable. Hope that helped!
Correct, but he proved it was possible to rotate one around which at the time was considered impossible. Caleb Wyatt rode out of the first one 2 years later 👊
Ahhh old school FMX , things have gotten absolutely absurd these days with all these double flips and varials. I mean, yea it's gnarly but kinda makes it kinda unfair for all the guys that are still in 2013-2014 riding level.
I’ve always hated the flip show. The first few were cool but I was pretty much over it from day 1. I still watch every event but you are right, it is absolutely absurd the things they do now..
I liked his yami days but I remember watching winter x 01 and Bartram rode a 4 stroke. Glad he switched because I could never get that sound out of my head when I saw him ride. The ktm 2 stroke was sweet. Him Renner and rebeaud always had sick Ktm’s back then.
Seeing Windham and Miller rip at on their finals run my gosh what talents. It was such a treat to see them at my first FMX event (last ever vans triple crown in 2004). Millers grab combos were amazing his last trick was a holy grab-Indian but the way he maneuvered it made it a 3-4 trick combo. Was also great to see “jake the jailor” ride after those years watching ifma so much.

I miss watching Travis. He was absolutely the most fun rider to watch, you just never knew what he was gonna do.

@@conordonnelly4290 yep! You can find clips of him practicing it in one of the old nitro movies 👊
@@bradenhallocksfmxarchives4985 Interesting, I wonder why he didn’t keep trying

Hart didn't land backflip

Kenny Bertram on a KTM hits different!
