How fun! We did AmblesideOnline for many many years until I changed my process last year. I loved it but I noticed we needed something different. We still very much love living books.

Thank you so much for sharing!!! I think living books can still be a part of any curriculum 😉

I love this! Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for Heart of Dakota!!!
I wish I could use it. But we need a little more diversity in the books and covering more than Eurocentric History. So, we take ideas from different secular programs and add our own Bible studies.

Living Books is a great way to learn about history - that combined with Gods Word is great!! Thanks for sharing!!

Great video! Love to hear all your tips for using Heart of Dakota. We are in the last couple weeks of our first year. It’s just amazing! What do you use for Bible? Did you ever use the Exploration Education science curriculum for Revival to Revolution?

Thank you!! This year was Creation to Christ which was my son reading through stories of the Bible. My older son does his own reading. I have a video on Bible Curriculum we have used. We have not used the Rev to Rev guide but hoping to with my youngest, so no I have not used Exploration Education. 😉ruclips.net/video/HgOGwORHFLk/видео.html

Hi! Really enjoy your channel! Do you think that HOD is worth it just for the history and Bible content? It seems like some of the science doesn’t always correlate so I plan to use something different. From what I can tell you have used different curricula for various subjects throughout the years for your boys.

Yes there have been years I have used it just for the history😉
I love the flexibility of HOD. For me it has been worth it, but a lot of times I have bought used😉
