WHATS GOOD..... I AM A OLDSCHOOL WRITER FROM FLATBUSH BROOKLYN...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, I AM IN CENTRAL AMERICA AND HAVE NOT BEEN BACK IN A WHILE.... I LOOK FORWARD ON SEEING YOUR VIDEOS DAILY....GREAT WORK
I live in Bushwick and see klops, basher, flash, et, piza, all day. I've walked past some of these in the video too you should come down broadway by gates avenue a lot of nice pieces
I'm born and raised in Bushwick , and while some of the Graff in this video is dope , we need to shout out and recognize the real writers from their. Alot of these writers ain't even from BUSHWICK or just moved to Bushwick yesterday !! I been there since 78 and alot of these new dudes couldn't even walk through here back then let alone write on the walls and that's a fact !! Dope video but try to tap in and reach out to some old writers who still live there and get some history on here like SR NBK ! he still there and can put you up onto some good Graff history from BUSHWICK !!!
I’m well aware of the history and have extensive documentation and knowledge of Bushwick before people started moving there from other places. Keep in mind that isn’t the purpose of this video. It is just a current lap around the neighborhood. Unfortunately a lot of the Bushwick originals aren’t as active as they were in the 80’s. This is what it is now.
You New York heads dont know how lucky you are to have all this ( well I’m sure countless of you do ) where I live they don’t stand for this at all and it’s complete BULL5H1T ! It’s absolutely stunning to see this stuff with countless amazing artists ! I’d be honoured to endure this stuff first hand !
These guys or neat man I mean I've seen some of the best in my life time. But these guys take the cake and the frosting Jack. And where is this place located at? If these guys tag up my trucks, Businesses, Walls & Roof tops I wouldn't mind for real these are what you call graffiti Artist. & professionals man.
I had some pieces of my own back in the late 2000's? I believe but someone stole my bag of tapes out of my room at the time and not only that but I also put music in the back ground. Even though it happens along time I'm still piss off.
wtf what is that BHM ichabod building?? found this: "428 Troutman Street, a custom-built music venue and bar, located in the heart of the Bushwick art district." not sure what its called though
Ok so I want to voice my opinion because I think that there is a era of graf artists that are not being recognized. I understand what the collectives objective is and it looks like it’s doing a good job at it so I salute you but honestly this could not have been done without the originators from Bushwick that used to sneak out night after night either bombing the streets or hitting train yards and/or layups. So many true writers that have past on such has “Dorf” BGW prez destroyed the hood in the 80s as well as the most talented “ Show” MSD who had Bushwick looking beautiful. I say this to say that the Graff crews need their salute. Now I see that there’s a small amount of writers that get a wall on the block such as AC2 and GA but there’s so much history behind them , I mean AC2 is related to the AC NSC BSK a crew that bombed Bushwick as well as their train lines. Where’s the salute to the KO crew both prez Pizer & VP RE RIP Kings Only crew well respected. I’m just saying reach out to those who paved the way in this hood because honestly everything under all this art is us, our tags our throw ups our pieces. Peace to some of the OG Graff Crews that destroyed Bushwick in the 80s, 90s, 2000s and beyond. MSD....BSK...TNK...TIC...NOK....TKK..NSC.....BS....BTC.....HAH.....WR....CW......BGW....KO... NBK....U5.....KOR...NSK...FUA.....BTR....GAO......WCC.....CCC.....TOS....TOS.....TNS.....RNS....KBS....COB.....These were the main crews that took graffiti as a livelihood and we fought if you went over my tag, we fought for whose layup was ours and we should always recognize and remember the pioneers of Bushwick RIP Show, REC,Asp,Nif and those I didn’t mention. We here AO! Hard As Hell H.A.H prez
I follow a lot of what you’re saying but why no mention of YKK? I wasn’t there in the 80’s but I was there late 90’s till present day. How many years did a lot of these guys really go at it compared to decades of never stopping?
No one’s disagreeing about the ones that paved the way but there’s also that factor of where we’re that the past 3 decades and just now resurfacing? I think it’s cool, but there’s really no comparing the past with the present. A lot had changed and the reasons for doing things are all different now.
Ykk is a crew that has its props and my bad for forgetting about them. Kez5 I knew personally and like so many from the past he was a talent gone to early. He looked up to KA TKK which who I bombed with back in the days and who is still relevant in the Graff world and I respect what you said and you have a point. There’s no argument there. Me personally went away due to my choices and served my time but all I’m saying is although we might be gone we shouldn’t be forgotten.
I wonder, if you know or heard some stories about "Chintz". That would be the shit... Not long ago i`ve listened to a podcast, where "Seen" told about "Loomit" coming to New York in the 80s, straight after finishing High School, bringing "Bor" and "Chintz" with him. Minute 22... ruclips.net/video/i1MzcbVgec4/видео.html Extremely rare somebody talking about "Chintz" and "Bor". Because of that i got pretty excited and thought to myself, maybe you know some stuff. If not ... Life goes on. ^^ Have a nice day! ...btw... Love your content!!!
