For all you guys saying Ami is a fraud for not knowing even though he claims to be military: Ami was ISRAELI military, he's probably not too familiar with all the specific aspects and honors of the US military
This man is breaking the law under the Stolen Valor Act signed in 2005 stating: "a federal misdemeanor to falsely represent oneself as having received any U.S. military decoration or medal." If this man really was a United States Marine, he would have not gotten a Combat Infantry Badge as the USMC does not use the CIB, it is a Unites States Army award.
@@seanm7539 I’m confused he showed a picture of a marine said he was in basic with this guy and he’s getting it for him yeah I’m gonna have to go with skyway rabbit on this one
To the scene. . The the person talking is lying about his time in the city of Najaf. He was never apart of the initial push, was not there when CPL Abad life was taken from us, and doesn't know what happened there. His knowledge comes from the actual Marines that were there with CPL Abad. And finally the tattoo is a Army tattoo not affiliated with the Marine Corps.
is it just me or are their tattoos really not that great?? I have quite a few tattoos from artists not even close to the fame level of people like these and they seem to have better style and be much better executed
Its not You!...That Bald dudes work has always been Shit! I remember the first time i saw the show and one of his pieces...and i asked the same question you did! I also dont believe the other guy was a Soldier...and Not much respect for his Boy by gettin' a Tramp Stamp!
Old saying war is hell ,,is so true my sons were in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon and they struggle every day with the memories of losing their friends and brothers in arms , I'm there for them every day, they live with survivors remorse because they lived and their brothers died ,.thank you all for your service so that we may enjoy our freedoms
semper fi!.. and my sister worked as the "cleanup" basically picking up body parts of people passed and working with them in the morgue...smh.. thanks bush
People need to stop disrespecting the soldiers that fight in these wars, these brav men and women are true heroes. If you don't like the war, point your anger where it should be pointed at the politicians sending people to war, not the people who fight it, they are just doing their job and helping other people. Lest we Forget.
YOU FUCKING GRUNT LOL. HE DONE DID IT. What a boot thing to do lmao. I thought at first he was gonna do the typical soldiers cross with boots and rifle, but he took me out the water LMAO
@anteracmacash -I'm glad you caught that also. I'm a 6 year Marine Sergeant with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and 2 MEU tours. I was in Iraq during the Awakening in 2007, and unless this was filmed previous to 2007, the only US personnel killed were two soldiers that went down in an Apache. Not trying to call bullshit on this, but, his story isn't making sense for the timeline.
Oh and also, before you start accusing me of having no idea. My family has a rich military history that goes back at least 100 years. My own father was in Vietnam. I have heard his story and i have seen him cry over the memories of that war. In my eyes he is a hero for what he has done and i am so proud to be his daughter. He sacrificed so much to do what he did and he deserves the respect from the people of his country that he never got.
It doesn't matter how you feel about the wars America is in. Love the people who risk their lives everyday to keep us safe. That's my thought. Dope tat, hope he rests in peace.
CIB for a US Marine?? That would be a CAR they earn, CIB is for the Army. What a joke.... Not to mention his fucking story.... "The catacombs.... It landed next to his head.... He was still alive....My fallen comrades...." Really???? What a damn joke and a shame!!
I have nothing but respect for this guy. He is really a loyal friend. I wish the best for him. It was a very touching story, and I'm sure your friend would really appreciate it.
Sounds like this show's researchers didn't do their job properly. It can't be that hard to check out whether someone with a story like that is telling the truth. I'm sure it's not the first time someone's told a whopper to get on TV.
this dude's militia didn't take over the city. america were the occupators who took over the city, the native militia took the city back, to those who it belongs to. compassion to the dead iraqis, and compassion to the average soldier who doesn't realize what's he used for.
this is why the pioneers of a warless world are **not ** those who join military service, but those who ***Refuse*** military service. That man didn't have to die. That was a beautiful tat, although I would've put it somewhere i could see it every day, like the inside of my wrist or something
I think it's funny how people in the comments section are talking about supporting the troops in their efforts and whatnot... The US is one of the only countries that is THAT militaristic. OT: sweet tattoo for a meaningful reason.
[Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: "We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?"; Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price--we think the price is worth it." - "60 Minutes" (5/12/96)]
No worries! It is what it is. I've known about this video for years just felt like finally saying something. If you look there's other people who have said similar things before.
@MarijuanaMichelle To protect our rights and our freedom. This brave man along with many others volunteered their lives to preserve the greatness of America
@GAMESGLORIOUSGAMES A Tramp Stamp is a tattoo that mostly girls have on there lower back, so its just a tattoo on your lower back but it called a tramp stamp,
People on here just trash things for no fucking reason. How about you just watch the video & understand the hardship that he has gone through? It's hard to lose someone close to you. He's an American hero. Quit trashing the people who do the jobs that everyone else is afraid to do. Who knows what would have happened or where we would be if those who are fighting for us just sat at home like the rest of the country.
I was Definitely think'n tramp stamp LoL ( like wtf?!?) But once I looked at the way he had the rest of tattoos lined up..I agree with what u say 'n...(but that placement is still a tramp stamp😣😂🤣) I think he should have got it on the upper neck area
in defense of the tramp stamp comment it would only look like one if he wasnt covered in a bunch of other awesome tattoos. Aesthetically well placed. Respect to him his fallen brother and all the rest of them.
you see, what happened was, he knew a guy once and then he was all like "lets get tattooed" n then he went and got the tattoo but then when he went home he was all like "fuck, It's on my lower back" but it's cool because he's gay. Not saying all people in the military are gay but he should have put "Don't ask, Don't Tell" instead of whatever he put because obviously.
Why does the fact somebody is "just doing their job" make them a hero? This is my biggest qualm with the way soldiers are treated. Everybody's a "hero", despite the fact they've willingly signed up to do their job, supposedly protecting us from threats that wouldn't exist if it wasn't for our initial meddling. I find it incredibly difficult to call people "heroes" for going to a foreign land and killing its people.
I can't really speak about whether it's Army or Marines, or which one he is in, but I can say that I don't think it's necessarily a tramp stamp, it's set up more like a tattoo in a series on his back. Plus tramp stamps usually have that look where they go out to the sides more.
I feel for anyone who loses someone close to them, the only exception are soldiers. They basicly kill or threaten people they never saw before and call that just. None of them ever sheds a tear for a single fallen enemie but keep on sobbing for the people that got lucky enough to die on the "right" side.
@MarsocOperator Yes, I agree I am a 19D U.S. Cavalry Scout. While I have nothing but respect for my Marine brothers in arms, I wouldn't wear one of you awards. I wouldn't think it was right Im not a Marine, I'm not saying Marines are better than my Cavalry in anyway lol but you get my point.
If Ami was military he should have known that a CIB is not marine. Of course that guy is a poser, but I think Ami needs to provide his DD214 for proof. And a tramp stamp. Nobody military would ask for that. Nobody in military would fucking ink it there. They would beat the fuck out of the person for asking. I say Ami is a poser also.
Doesn't matter where he served. No soldier/veteran is going to do a tramp stamp on someone for a fallen soldier. Unless he's A. a poser, B money hungry.
Yes I know he is the tattoo artist. Because he should research it. I mean uh he had to know what a CIB was, so i'm sure he looked for it. I t should have clicked. If you're not military you probably wouldn't understand.
YOU ARE VERY HOT MAN .PROBABLY LOF OF BOYS AND GIRLS LIKE YOU AND THEY ENJOY THIS MOMENT WITH YOU...NICE WORK .I AM JUST TRYING TO DO TATTOO BY MYSLEF .HAD ONE ALREADY BECAUSE I LIKE TO BE CREATIVE
@KottLoom I think war is a necessary evil, i'm not saying all wars are right, but the soldiers who fight in them sign up to defend their county and they don't get a say in which wars they fight in. They do what's asked of them whether they think it's right or wrong, they go to bat for their country and I don't think you can attack anyone for defending what their government asks them to.
I was in the Air Force and I even know this. Ami, I'll kind of excuse you since you were in the Israeli Army. HOWEVER, you should have done your research!
He gets his CIB as a Tramp stamp? WTF?
Why the fuck would a Marine get a Combat Infantryman's badge tattoo if Marines aren't awarded it
For all you guys saying Ami is a fraud for not knowing even though he claims to be military: Ami was ISRAELI military, he's probably not too familiar with all the specific aspects and honors of the US military
atmosvere no one is claiming ami is stolen valor. It's the one getting tattooed.
“The mortar round landed next to his head...and kept saying”
If a mortar lands next to any part of you, there will be nothing left of you
army tramp stamp so cute
Did anybody notice he called the CIB a "ribbon" in the beggining?
This man is breaking the law under the Stolen Valor Act signed in 2005 stating: "a federal misdemeanor to falsely represent oneself as having received any U.S. military decoration or medal." If this man really was a United States Marine, he would have not gotten a Combat Infantry Badge as the USMC does not use the CIB, it is a Unites States Army award.
He said he was the same platoon.... In the Marines.... Here it comes, so why get an ARMY infantry badge. Liar liar , pants on fire!
He’s ex army than not a marine
@@seanm7539 I’m confused he showed a picture of a marine said he was in basic with this guy and he’s getting it for him yeah I’m gonna have to go with skyway rabbit on this one

seriously, even I, an american, am so over america😂.
+Sam Rivera lmao just don't vote for trump
It doesn't matter who you vote for. The whole system is rigged. Whoever the government wants they will get.

No real combat vet just says, "Yeah, I lost a couple friends over there." as if he's talking about people unfriending him on Facebook.

I have quite a few tattoos from artists not even close to the fame level of people like these and they seem to have better style and be much better executed
they definetly dont do many crazy detailed tattoo's in this show but its not reasonable for a show unless you cut clips of the progress

he says his name at 2:00....Roberto

5% FOR LIFE RIP RICH PIANA !

Wow! The tattoo is so fuckin awesome!
I want it :P
I believe he said "shit" together or quickly "in the shit", common military term for being in combat, you're "in the shit"
Oh he fulfilled something alright....
1:45 lol there’s a reason he made it look war torn
Respect man
My stepbrother was there with them thats crazy! Maybe the same plattoon ill have to ask.
to all of you who are disrespecting this man. go to hell! i dont agree with the war but the men and women serving deserve your respect!
YOU ARE VERY HOT MAN .PROBABLY LOF OF BOYS AND GIRLS LIKE YOU AND THEY ENJOY THIS MOMENT WITH YOU...NICE WORK .I AM JUST TRYING TO DO TATTOO BY MYSLEF .HAD ONE ALREADY BECAUSE I LIKE TO BE CREATIVE
The tatt's uneven. It's heavier on the left with the 'W".....the 's' on the other side doesn't balance it out.
Its crap
That shit's deep.
Dude,you got a tramp stamp
GAY

Marine getting a CIB tramp stamp. Is this for real?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Marines can be awarded a CIB. I thought that was strictly an Army award.
I feel bad for INK who got scammed. Let's not forget about the victim here.
So damn the wars, repect lifes
He's a wantabe !!!
that's so sad how he didn't make it to get the tattoo together :(
but this was touching
