In this bass lesson I show you HOW TO play 3 funky licks over a custom backing track.
Whether you are an advanced, intermediate, or beginner bass player there is something in this lesson that you can use to add to your playing.
The backing track that I'm playing to is in B flat, but these licks will work in any key especially one that has a dominant sound. Dominant is the same or similar to a "bluesy sound".
The chord progression for the backing track using the Number system is as follows : 1-b7-4, 1-b7-4, 1-b7-4, #5-5-5
The chord progression for the backing track using notes is as follows:Bb - Ab - Eb, Bb - Ab - Eb, Bb - Ab -Eb, Gb - F - F

Great Stuff man, as a guitar player these licks work great as a different aproach to the guitar..also if you could do a video on the little details you add to those licks and grooves like ghost-notes, slides and diferent types of vibrato that make them sound so good and authentic would be awesome..
