After hearing repeatedly from players and coaches that they don’t want us there and that they can’t seem to distinguish the difference between a fan and a troll, it’s no wonder no one hung around to the end. Throw in how CC was treated by the WNBA and its players and referees that couldn’t see fouls committed right under their noses unless they were committed by the Fever team, it’s no wonder no one is interested. Do better next year or your ratings will tank again.

I think it ia wise to keep this in proper perspective. Not all black players are racists, some understand and have an appreciation for skill regardless of skin color. It is pretty easy to spot the racists among the WNBA, they are the ones that would give Clark the blind side cheap shots, and there were more than just a few! But to suggest that ALL of the black players are racist could be considered a "racist" comment in itself.

Amazing I am a regular NBA fan since 1960. Never watched 1 WNBA game. When I heard of CC on college and watching the draft than play with Fever I like many others became fans. I even bought merch. With Fever eliminated I stopped watching like many others and who gives a crap about the finals. Get some better refs who can officiate.
If the WBNA doesn't get their collective sh&t together and hire professional refs (that are not incompetent or bought) they are going to lose significant support from fans and corporate sponsors. The WBNA have done a crappy job marketing your "cash cow" or the players themselves, and you have done nothing to combat the racism and hate shading CC. Overall, (without Clark) the WBNA gets a grade of D+ and that's generous.
How about creating a safer working environment for all players and refs who aren’t afraid to blow a whistle I remember watching the Detroit pistons and the bad boys this is where the WNBA is now

The reason I stopped watching was all of the hate directed towards her. She was one of the few class acts, many of the others were thugs . The refs were just a joke. I was actually starting to enjoy some of the others, but seems the thugs are winning out. Don’t need to watch them on tv,I see enough of them in real life.
Clark made basketball interesting to watch. Would CC make that driving layup ? How about those long 3 point shots? Wow, she is double and triple teamed, How did she get off that spectacular pass to the open person for an easy basket? How can she maintain her composure when getting fouled so often without a foul being called? That is just some of the fun Clark has in making the game so interesting to watch.

The referees they hired maybe the good referees for MMA and UFC, and not for basketball as there were fouls made to CC during the games but the referees did not see them

Because of Caitlin Clark I became a WNBA and Clark fan. I bought a WNBA League Pass so I could watch Clark play. When the fever were eliminated from the playoffs, I cancelled my WNBA league Pass and will not watch any more games until Clark comes back next year (hopefully).
