- Part 1 of a no-wasted-time trip around the world.
This is a circumnavigation, using commercial air travel.
We visit Camiguin Island near Mindanao, in the Philippines.
Part 2 will include our trip back, via Abu Dhabi.
Here's to a joyous reunion, a safe trip home and a complete and whole vessel upon your return!
Thanks, Paul.
My friends and neighbors in Marathon report that Tautog is still floating and looking proud! I will be glad to get back.
Safe travels to you two! Beautiful islands, and thanks for the video.
Thanks, Roy.
I could live on Camiguin _no problem_ !
Great to see where you have travelled to. Wishing you a safe return!
Thanks, Andrew.
In Abu Dhabi at the moment, flying to New York today.
Enjoyed following along on your travel 😃
Hi Russ, Wish you a safe journey back and a joyous holiday. Myself, still recovering from jetlag.
Thanks, Jim.
Just got back! Still jet-lagged and I have a cold now...
(felt fine when I boarded the flight from Abu Dhabi, and was blowing my nose before we landed)
MERRY CHRISTMAS, to You and yourn.p.s. I didn't realize how far South you were. Keep yer head on a swivel!
Thanks a lot.
There have always been the issues down here...in the 1980s it was "communist" rebels and now it's a little different.
I suppose that whenever I go anywhere (including places in the USA), I keep that head on a swivel.
Take care.
Those shots you took were fantastic. I kept thinking that it looked just like that when Magellen sailed by!@@skipjacksailing8986
I sure appreciate the comment.
I am trying to narrate less and just stick to some silent shots--what do you think of those?
I loved the music on the ferries. That wasn't recorded boom-box stuff--it was all live music from the crew or passengers!
"Slice of Life" is where it's at! Keep up the Good Work!@@skipjacksailing8986
Not sure if you'll see this or not - we ended up in the keys for Christmas and paddle boarding Sister Creek in Christmas Day (tomorrow) not sure where you're moored but we'll shout ahoy if nearby!
I am here and I'm moored in the line of boats closest to that line of condos. Southernmost line.
Only camouflaged boat in the fleet!!
Just paddle close and give a shout!
Free drinks to paddleboarders!

Could you imagine if the Philippines became a cruisers destination? There are a few marina on Luzon, and 1 on Cebu that I know of. Need better charts, and good anchorages.
I think also in Puerta Princesa harbor.
We could make a list of good places, and start making a cruising guide.
It's so beautiful, I'm sure that with a good cruising guide folks would come.
Hi buddy so I just want to let you know, Im leaving the channel, Im kind of leaving all sailing channels that are not about sailing. I liked and enjoyed your videos, but I want to see sailing stuff and I don´t see much here.
Understand.
I am grounded for a bit.
Hope you check in after a few months when can start moving.
