Actually those guys who offer to buy you tickets are fixers. They buy from ticket booth so you don't have to do it yourself. I also decline those offers as I frequently go back and forth from Camiguin. It's very easy and you also save some cash.

Hi, Lex! I don't remember having problems with the internet data when I was in Camiguin Island. I stayed in Mambajao and the internet there is fair. But other places in Camiguin like in Mt. Hibok-hibok, White Island, Sunken Cemetery, Tausan Falls, and other tourist spots, the signal is quite slow. I haven't tried working there so I cannot guarantee it's conducive for working especially doing online meetings and calls.
