I've been considering putting a quick thin layer of modpodge on the back of my marker pages to prevent yellowing on the next page. Has anyone tried that?

I haven't. But I have waxed a page front any back. That is what I do with my art journal pages so they don't stick together because of mixed media.
I have used modge podge matte to set oil pastels. And that works really well. So the dont rub off.
