That Washi tape page is just so gorgeously colored in every way possible. I just stared at it, gazing at all those funny little figures, busy having fun! I especially loved the pink bunny on skis, weaving through the trees! Lucky bunny!! (I have those metallic pens from Golden Marker, too, and they are beautiful on paper!) (Once you shake them, initially, to get them started!!!) Lynn in NYC

@kittencolourcrazy I did and it was fine. Now avoid pinks and reds generally as they're known for bleeding. If I come across any that don't work I'll shout! LoL... my gold uniball was fine.

Hi Kristina, I'm only at around 6 minutes in; seeing you dealing with the oil pastel fixative issue... I'm wondering, if you could spray back over the same area with a workable fixative finish, maybe you could then continue to color (test it on scrap paper)? I use it with chalk pastel in my coloring books & can definitely continue to color with pencils, over it. Hope this helps 🙂
Yes, I had read my fixative and didn't mention I could go over oil but in hindsight I probably could have then, but a great suggestion to use the regular fixative over what I already sprayed. Thank you! Should give it some tooth maybe. Appreciate you watching and commenting!!
I love how involved and passionate your granddaughter is. I hope mine will be that way about coloring as she gets older. How old is your granddaughter?
Hello! I don't share her age for privacy concerns. The internet can be a strange place. Start them young with crayonsl. My granddaughter had my paint brushes in her hand since she was 3 on the floor with newspapers and canvasses when I did acrylic painting original art. So, she's been exposed to alot of types of art. That's the most helpful, but coloring gave us the most shared interest. And, I do youtube for my grandchildren to remember you can do anything, at any age, if you have the passion for it, less age restrictions for RUclips. She'd love to have her own channel someday. We shall see in a few years. For now she's happy with monthly videos with her Grammy 😉
