In nearly 100% of his throws, feet are in throwing position.
His footwork is insane: not only for prepping to throw, but to avoid the ankle tackles.
Such a pleasure to watch a disciplined athlete in action.

Vincent Urteaga he got an incredible arm for his size. 3:05 on the run to make this throw w/ that velocity is insane. Idk if it was Kitchens playbook, although dude has some crazy ass formations. It was definitely his play calling tho. Some of the worse play calling I’ve ever seen. If someone like me, who’s level of football doesn’t go past HS, can see how terrible the play calling was. Defenses can definitely see it and feast on it. Their O line fell off from the previous year and for some reason their offense implored a ridiculous amount of plays that had long ass routes that took time to develop. Gave Baker no fair chance to succeed and he predictably started pressing and forcing throws

With only playing 13 and a half games this season, this is arguably the best rookie quarterback season ever. Hopefully he doesnt fly too close to the sun

He comes from a great family, he's really close to his older brother who still treats him like an annoying little kid a lot, lol, I think he got engaged not too long ago... Not a stalker, lol, just a longtime OU fan, so I've been watching him for awhile. He seems pretty grounded. I could be wrong, he's never had NFL money, but he didn't exactly grow up poor, either. We'll see!

not to mention he has the respect of his team, specifically his o-lineman. that might be the biggest key. only thing I worry about with the brows next season is depth. if a key player like mayfield went down, they dont have much in the way of depth to hold over until his return.

coaching. If the coaches were not so pass happy we would see a more effect game plan and Baker and wins. But I will say Baker needs to learn to see and appreciate the open checked down for 6-10yds. Stop trying to be a surgeon on every pass .

Me and my son watched the bomb against Car. several times to calculate the yardage of the throw. It was at least 63-64 yds in the air! Amazing. Also, tru story, Baker told safety D. Randall he would throw a td on the 1st pass of the game. If Perriman didnt fall, it wouldve happened...moxie!
