    I have had my 3025 for just over a year. Only have 250 hrs but the little tractor has handled everything I have thrown at it without a problem. Nothing wrong with the Kubota but I tried both before I purchased the Deere and haven't regretted it a bit.

    And of course you have to admire the easy to detach front loader on the JD.

    The biggest advantage that John Deere has over Kubota is dealership network and parts availability. They lead the industry there.
    Having been a John Deere guy my entire life, I think I am fair when I say that I would have to say that when I was shopping for my compact tractor, John Deere was my first stop. I looked at Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Case IH, and Mahindra. For my needs, the Deeres got ruled out rather quickly. I have to admit, I was somewhat disappointed in the Deeres.
    My choice came down to between Mahindra and Kubota. I went with the L2501 and have been extremely pleased with it. It has to move the large square hay bales, drag up logs and tops for firewood, brush hog 100 acres of pasture, and other misc. duties. It has been very easy on fuel and the only problem that I have had with it is the loader valve control arm has come loose from the mounting and had to be fixed in the field twice. That's not bad for a tractor with 300 hours on it.
    Would I have been happy with a Deere? I am sure I would have. But given what I know now, my best choice was the L2501.

      Dodge and cummins. Chevy with duramax and Allison. Semis running paccar, cat, Detroit etc. Sometimes you let the professionals build the motors because they can do more tests, more tweeking because they have a bigger budget.... guess that's why kubota also sells their engines to put in other brands like ventrac. No different. Is a ventrac garbage because it doesn't use a ventrac engine but has a good proven kubota engine....

      @@andyober9489 i honestly dont know. An L2501 DT has a single clutch and the PTO is not live continuous, when you shift you must depress the clutch.... but it is so fast you lose minimal PTO RPMs..... the HST gets a live continuous PTO. The l3901DT has a dual clutch, live continuous PTO. So you lose no PTO RPM when shifting F to R.

    Traded my Massey Ferguson for Kubota L2501HST, compared everything else in its class. JD hydro only has two speeds, everything else in the class have three. JD proprietary quick attach is idiotic.

    • @peterkoster5053
      @peterkoster5053 2 года назад

      @Panther Property Maintenance john deeres is lighter and has no moving parts.... every attachment company makes ssqa and jdqa attachments for the same price... iv used both and kinda like the jdqa attach better here in Canada because at my job all the skid steer attachments fill with snow being parked outside and then after you use the attachment the face plate fills with hard snow/ice and you always have to chip it or else the pins don't push in, john deeres has a gap so that never happens. I'll run any machine don't get me wrong, either are good systems and to me it wouldn't be a selling point.

      -Composite everything. I don't care what they say, I want metal
      -2 speed HST. Doesn't make a lot of sense... zero sense whatsoever with only 25 HP
      -The quick attach is like an Apple snack in the face, buy our stuff or leave type of thing.

  • @roflstomps324
    @roflstomps324 5 лет назад +10

    Hemmm... is this really a comparison? The JD with only the loader costs $28K. The Kubota L2501 with a loader, box grader, quick attachment rear mount, and finish mower with an eighteen foot trailer costs $22K... To summarize: JD with having to add the loader - $28K. JD box grader? $2K? JD five foot finish mower? 2K? JD quick attachment mounting? It says contact dealer. So, it must be pretty cheap. Kubota to summarize: $22K. Loader. 18 foot trailer. Four foot box grader. Five foot finish mower. Quick attach mount. $22K. Considering that you could get the L3301HST loader and backhoe for $32K... I think someone is comparing apples to oranges... Did I mention that the L3301 is 30 HP? No? Oh... yeah...

    Steering rod sits lower than the axle🤔 plastics usually cracks in the long run(why didn’t they show the Kubota spilling rocks on its hood?) John Deere’s loader can only do one function at a time. Kubota can multifunction. And if the PTO is anything like my dads tractor then you don’t need the clutch to engage it
