I'm amazed people reviewing city cars, complain about the boot lip. I have a car that flat-loads. It's handy on the odd occasion I move something big, but it's a zafira. You aren't going to want to move anything big, in a city car. What you will use the boot for a lot, is putting shopping bags in. In my car, anything behind the back seats, needs strapping, or it'll want to fall out when I open the boot. That big boot-lip would be much more useful.
We got rid of our Picanto Turbo last year as the 'war on the driver' got tighter and tighter, but although it's nice not to have the parking wars and the tax, insurance and MOT hassle every year, we found life without a car was awkward. So we looked around and settled on a used Citroen C1 puretech 82 Flair. It's a good-looking, chunky little car and on the test drive it amazed me with its eager engine and easy drive. Thanks for the review.
not sure if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are stoned like me atm you can watch all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last few days =)
I have a 2015 C1 flair in blue lagoon, black roof, black wheels and leather seats. Absolutely great little town run around which I occasionally use on longer journeys at work. Tax exempt, under £150 a year to unsure including business use and fill up every 6 weeks. Happy motoring 😁
Thanks great review. I know this was some time ago, but looking for my 17 year old and I really like the idea of this as a first car (he agrees too). Mark.
And the light brown top outfit is nice with the rest of your out fit I missed out accidentally witch is lovely love it u have a nice good colour qudenation taste tish makes ya videos even great and cool x 👌👌👌😁😁
Good review love the quirkiness of the Citroen but prefer to looks of the Slovakian built Toyota aygo and the Peugeot is more attractive at the front of I'd say stick with your UP! I've chosen the Mii electric , enjoyed the video keep them coming . The great benefit of the Peugeot and Citroen is you can get a 4/5 door convertible which is in itself unique - do you think they'll bring out an EV version of will that be in mk3 ? To compete with the Fiat 500 ev ?
Well done Tish another great review I’ve watched in retrospect somewhat my wife bought a brand new top of the range Peugeot 108 collection in October 2020 so we’ve had the car 18 months now I would say you are pretty much spot on with this review we have had no issues at all with the car and ours has the 1.0 72hp Toyota engine as Peugeot have now deleted the 1.2 pure tech We have been delighted with the car yes it’s build is a bit flimsy inside but it doesn’t rattle or squeak it’s good around town and economy isn’t too bad compared to my t roc! On a run or with a load up it struggles quite a bit more especially on the motorway and with hills The front seats are great and lovely and comfy and agree about the back doors being hard to get child seats in as my sons are 7 and 3 and they don’t open very wide We would have another but sadly production has ended so maybe my wife will look at a up or new aygo next time look forward to your review of the new aygo when it comes I know you will do a great job keep up the hard work Tish Daniel
Good review,, but these cars are nothing like the older version, which I personally think look better and these just seem like any other motor of the ilk.
@@AutoSocialUK I think the Citroen / DS look quite nice, we had DS3 & DS4’s as company cars, the looked nice, however, living with one and you can tell it’s a bit cheap. We moved onto VAG products and you can feel the improved cabin quality

Heya Tish, Off topic but see if you can get your hands on the new Paddy Hopkirk Special Edition MINI Cooper. Granted It's not a new model I just want to see it as there is zero road footage that I can find anywhere.
No I don’t think there is any plans. Vauxhall had the Viva but that has since been discontinued along with the Adam, which seems a shame. There is a rumour that PSA (Citroen and Peugeot) will also be ditching their smallest cars.
Hi tish loved the video it was very good even better as well with the out fit it was beautiful and bang on very very elegant u look in your black leather and ya white and of course with the hair style I love it lots tish u amazingly beautiful complementing and been a smoothie tish hope u are well and doing good with ya self in general keep up with the good work u do on hear tish x
I'm still watching your videos about cars, which I'm not very interested in, but what I'm watching is the growing obviousness of your speech. I like it. Good job. Btw that interior is such a small disaster😅.
I couldn’t believe how good it was on fuel.... I couldn’t work it out if it’s better than the up or if it’s just because I don’t usually have a full tank. I’m pretty sure the up only gets 40mpg
Great review as always :) I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy one, being honest. It looks grand externally, but the interior doesn't do it for me. At least the centre console was in a dark colour!
Citroen says that there are five colours, but you'd only need a colour moniter to appreciate one of those "colours". Seriously, what child ever says to their mum & dad _When I grow up I want to drive a grey car!_ ?? For six months of the year my commute is done in the dark, and even when it is daylight the road is grey and the sky is invariably grey. Why are manufacturers looking to EL James for colour combinations? Just WHO is fuelling the demand for grey cars?

wow so beautiful.
car's not bad either

That sounds great! Just what you need with soaring fuel prices!
Tish this is a great review!! I really like your UP but this could be a strong contender!!

The new Aygo is a great looker, but watch out - it is low on power and takes about a week to get to 60.
Good review,, but these cars are nothing like the older version, which I personally think look better and these just seem like any other motor of the ilk.
Good looks & good informative reviews.
Good review. Recently got a new C1 Origins, similar spec to the JCC but interior not as garish. Great little cars.
Ahhhh yes! The Origins is a really tasteful style, I love their colabs 👏🏼
Good review. Quite a nice looking car - wheel arch gap looks massive, the car has a look of being on its tip-toes I would still opt for an Up mind you
Yes big gaps and I don’t really like the added black trim around the arches.... imagining adding those on?? 🤔 strange behaviour

Another great and informative video, not my kind of car but informative and constructive. Thank you
Thank you, got some cool stuff coming up. Don’t you worry 😊
I like the chunky but slightly humorous look of it. Although supposedly the 108/Aygo/C1 are going to stop being made in a year or two?
Great video Tish. Who on earth thought up the names of the colours on this car!
Really roll of your tongue don’t they....
@@AutoSocialUK you did very well to pronounce them!🤣

This will be better than my current 10yr old Alto! Looks like a nice small 2nd car to be fair ....

I miss my saxo, love the video and your review style!
Citroen’s used to be cool once right?
@@AutoSocialUK saxo was the car I learned to drive in, I would pretend it was a 306 🤣
is it possible to turn off the ( start stop) function? thankss
Yes, there is a button on the right hand side just to the side of the steering wheel
Where was the ridiculous handbrake turns?! 🤣🙈 ... Nice video, best bang for buck cars around
How hard it is to make good loking headlights for a hatchback
First day with this car and the clutch is making me crazy, nothing like the clutches I am used to, I’m guessing I’ll get used to it
Is there going to be an Opel/ vauxhall version of this? If not why not.
No I don’t think there is any plans. Vauxhall had the Viva but that has since been discontinued along with the Adam, which seems a shame. There is a rumour that PSA (Citroen and Peugeot) will also be ditching their smallest cars.
As an American, i wish we could get citreon, peugot, renault, skoda, seat, etc
Why can’t you get it? Can’t you import it or something?
I fell in love... with her😊
This car should launch in India to compite maruti alto...great citron c1 car
It is a good car, unfortunately now discontinued in the UK too
I have C1, nude color..perfect car for me.👌😍🥰
that car is very cute i must say
It does have a rather cute face!

From Carbuyer's point of view, small cars and automatic transmissions don't go well together. This is what they criticised the Hyundai i10 for.
Anything with a single clutch auto needs to go into the bin!
DCT for the win!
Beautiful, stylish, sporty, attractive and a real eye catcher….. oh and the car looks nice as well ☺️

That is very true! But did you see the dust that was already collecting on it when driving!?
I think it’s fantastic for the target audience!
@@AutoSocialUK Dust gathers really quick. It's amazing the amount of brand new cars that gather dust around the screens inside.
