Not sure I really agree with the perspective, the one element they aren't talking about is the record of the team, just like with MVP that always comes into play. Yes he is averaging a lot of points but the team isn't winning. I would say he is similar to the situation Dame had in the West. Would constantly get beat out for the all star game by players whose team had better records. In the East they are very comparable players but the Bucks are a top team so Dame is going to get the nod over Trae. I think sometimes Gil and these guys add extra sauce that doesn't exist. On certain topics they scream that the players know better and then will switch up when it fits their argument that the players shouldn't be trusted.
Players and media should have no input on the all-star game. It should only be the fan vote. The only time the voting was a real problem was when Zaza almost got voted in, but that was because he had a whole country conspiring to vote for him specifically, and he ultimately didn't get voted in the actual game. Just because the media believes fans got it wrong doesn't mean they're right. Look at how little people care about all-star weekend now, and it all started going down hill when they started forcing players nobody wanted to see in the all-star game on us. We dont want the nba side to veto or override the fan vote. Not sure I really agree with the perspective, the one element they aren't talking about is the record of the team, just like with MVP that always comes into play. Yes he is averaging a lot of points but the team isn't winning. I would say he is similar to the situation Dame had in the West. Would constantly get beat out for the all star game by players whose team had better records. In the East they are very comparable players but the Bucks are a top team so Dame is going to get the nod over Trae. I think sometimes Gil and these guys add extra sauce that doesn't exist. On certain topics they scream that the players know better and then will switch up when it fits their argument that the players shouldn't be trusted.
Fans should be the only vote for All Star Game. They are the ones watching. All NBA should be based on stats & player/ coach votes.
Players and media should have no input on the all-star game. It should only be the fan vote. The only time the voting was a real problem was when Zaza almost got voted in, but that was because he had a whole country conspiring to vote for him specifically, and he ultimately didn't get voted in the actual game. Just because the media believes fans got it wrong doesn't mean they're right. Look at how little people care about all-star weekend now, and it all started going down hill when they started forcing players nobody wanted to see in the all-star game on us. I respect effort guys like Draymond, but they are boring to watch in an exhibition game where fans want to see the best scorer's for each position cook each other. I can't even remember the last all-star weekend that was enjoyable every night.

We put in the time to vote an get our favorite player to number on or number 2 and yall choose to override our vote. Tf I put all this effort in voting everyday for my favorite player for then.
