I’m genuinely surprised no one has made a custom one of these for 33/4 long before now.
Maybe someone has? I was going to add a part about some of the customs done my Gi Dad and Christopher George. They've done giant versions of vehicles from the cartoon. Maybe this is just too big?
@@ActionRobotPunch There's no such thing as "too big"- just look at the USS Flagg! Sadly, there is such a thing as "too expensive," which is likely the reason no one made a custom Cobra mothership.
I was at Toy Fair in New York today. Front and center at the Super 7 booth was the Cobra Mothership. It was the same gray one seen in the video. I spoke to one of the reps and he confirmed the Cobra Mothership is definitely happening and coming to Kickstarter in the near future. Date and price to still be determined. They will be releasing a video “soon” that will show the Mothership inside and out.
I also mentioned this video and they all knew about it and said it made its way around the office. They definitely liked it. Their booth was cool, the reps were all nice and I’m more psyched than ever for the Cobra Mothership!!!

Yeah it’s amazing that they put in most of the things I was hoping for, that door uses a lot of space. If the entrance was through the side, past the armory, a throne could go right against that big wall/door. The rest I’m not sure of 😂 Thanks for watching 👍

Man, I actually like a lot of features in your CAD model a lot more than what they're actually giving us, haha. The bubble turrets are super cool and I love your mothership weapons (missile racks and large dorsal laser cannons especially) way more.

Super 7 is awesome! I love their creative choices as to what figures they will put out that have never been made by hasbro. I’ve been loyal to them so this mother ship will be on my list too if it’s badass!

This thing looks like a blast and I'm excited to see 7 finally offer some o-ring figs now. I would've liked to have seen them do the black n red Cobra cargo plane first. They could've fit it with VTOL like in the cartoon and set it up to hold at least 3 Trouble Bubbles.

I double-dog dare you to make the Cobra mothership transform into a giant robot, for a 'Transformers vs. GI Joe' crossover! Complete with a scoped Walther P38- Megatron, trapped in his alt mode- for Cobra Commander to wield!

Scale should be a little larger and the Trubble Bubble areas detaching is a great idea.
Since Super 7 is making that Cobra ship might as well FINALLY GIVE FANS A official G.I.Joe C130 or Hercules 3.75 plane😊
How about a c-17? Maybe update for the c-130. And I only say that because I made a custom c-130.

@@ActionRobotPunch Given Super7's focus on the Sunbow cartoon, it'd be a C-5 Galaxy. Hopefully it'd have room for a Mauler or MOBAT and change inside but the cost of a plane that big would be obscene, not to mention it would practically require a sturdy handle and be the size of a kitchen table with its wingspan.

I think you're right to a certain extent, from what you showed me as to what's inside does not satisfy me personally, I have a lot of small vehicles trouble bubbles ,firebats ,claw gliders rocket packs,I need storage besides a base per say

I would use it as a deep rage command shuttle. one feature I would like would be carrying a couple of firebats as those would be the best jets to use with such a carrier. some bunks would be a good touch. I like the idea of two bubble turrets seen in your render.
Being able to launch a couple of fire bats would be sweet. Give it some local air defense and strike capabilities. Thanks for watching 👍
I'm Just Glad We Are Getting a New Cobra Vehicle That Isn't Just Another HISS Tank.
Also It Would Be Cool To 3d Print You're 3d Model And Maybe After Sell The File For Other To Make One Which Me Personally I Would Make a Small Fleet Myself Maybe Modify The Model Into More Of a Naval Vessel Maybe a Submarine Aircraft Carrier Hybrid Which Is a Real Concept.

there are also those big snake planes that have the mouths that open and carry a lot of cobras and vehicles/planes inside... they can make that as well

I think we will have more compartments than the one you are showing man... Your model looks great by the way. I can see Super 7 doing detachable covers on the top right and left of the ship and all that are can be populated with Cobra figures Reactions and ARAH.😀💡✌️

Its not large enough needs to be huge so there can be a hanger bay for trouble bubbles like in the intro of the show.

I don't like the G I joe glasses to drink actual liquor from. Sometimes you drop your glass pouring more 211 and they smash and glass gets all over your quality clothing and work implements.❤

Probably, this playset, is very difficult to get for anyone outside the united states. So I guess, I’ll have to try to do it myself. Your video will be very helpful
very cool, i hope this comes out. i would love this. sadly...the figures are just ho hum to me with that lack of articulation. i love the 3.75 scale but being a stiff figure like that really kills it for me
I think most people are excited about the vehicle way more than the figs. But if it comes with a couple of special pilots or something I’d be excited. The reaction sailors paired well as crew for the Flagg. Thanks for watching.
@@ActionRobotPunch On the plus side, there's O-Rings, albeit straight arms, being produced alongside this and for it. An optional five pack, one alongside a re-action with the ship, and a stretch goal officer two-pack with both a re-action and a straight-arm O-Ring
Sad it's not swivel bicep, but I guess they're trying to test production methods first.

Wow hadn’t thought of making a fleet of these. That’d be pretty awesome! Staging them as they load up would make a great setup.
If it is a crowdfund will just ignore it but if it is something they release would love to pick up but done with crownfunded projects got plenty I can pick up instead. Or if I can find with mark up when It is finally released would get if not to much over the original price
I love crowdfund for all kinds of things - board games, the 3d Joes Gi joe book and Project Recall. I actually did a design for that and without crowdfund I don’t think Carson would have done it. For the Cobra Mothership I don’t care how they fund it as long as it gets made. Someone did mention that at toy fair they’re talking about preorders so maybe just a normal release?
If just preordering sign me up gladly get one no question. It is on top of list of playsets that always wanted for 3.75 to 4 inch scale

So, Terry, one thing we inevitably will run into with the ReAction line is one I have thought about in trying to adapt the original Castle Grayskull for the smaller figs - that the legs will have no bend at the knees and whatever seating, the throne in the case of MOTU, would have to accommodate the legs jutted straight forward like Kenner Star Wars. The knee bend of your 3D model and seating would be more a retrofit for traditional ARAH, which, baseless internet rumor has it, Super 7 had wanted to make, but Hasbro wouldn't allow. The Worst figures with legs that disappear down a hatch inside the body of the mounted animal also seems crazy in 2023 as it was always an aesthetic nightmare on the Kenner Tauntaun.
You are right about the throne! Hmm, yeah they have to make any chairs work for reaction. I bet they’ll opt for standing. You can see that the trubble bubbles are made for standing figs. But I loved my taun taun and dewback. That little trap door to hide the legs was brilliant. And who is Terry? Thanks for watching.
@@ActionRobotPunch I think that by creating a minimal lower hull with access windows to the Hasbro SHIELD Helicarrier from several years back along with a snakehead command module to replace the top pieces, you would modify it into becoming an approximation of the more often-used Cobra airship we see at the beginning of the '87 movie. I have a couple sets I bought on the cheap for this purpose...

grossly undersized for what its based on, about the only thing it will be used for by me will be with my TYCO gijoe sets.
Sure it could always be bigger. But if they pack enough features into this thing I'll be excited. If it's too gigantic I know I'd have to pass on it because of not having anywhere to put it. My Flagg is stored in pieces because it's so big and that's a shame. This would look awesome landing next to the tyco set! But maybe the announce will be bigger? I love them for the obscure characters you can get. I have the crew of the Nostromo from alien, Steph Curry, Breaking Bad, Firefly, Aliens marines, etc. I do wish they had more articulation or were cheaper but then we might not get 4” figs from all these cool properties.
