Why the hell hasn't ther ebeen a game like this? Assassin's in modern day with hacking as one of their tools, disguising, wall scaling, takedowns, grappling like attachment to the hidden blade, etc. Give us a huge open world game with both games combined and i will pay top dollar
I think the devs were very strict about making the AC series historic as they didn't want clash with hitman, metal gear etc. I agree though. Would love a present day/future AC game.

Come to think of it, watch dogs shouldve been made as an assassins creed sequel. It suits how they work in the dark to serve the light in a modern era kinda of way. It fits so perfectly because the assassins would adjust their ways doing things in the modern day era. of course with a little more tweak here and there to fit the assassins creed scope. Yes. With Desmond Miles as a protagonist, of an equaly exciting successor of his. Just imagine the lost potential. For example, how exciting would it be to play AC Unity, and not only having the life of Arno Dorian in the 18th-19th century, but also play as a Modern Assassin in a very Modern Paris in the 21st century.

Interesting tips for everyone to know: 1) When in melee combat, you can immediately takedown your opponent by doing perfect dodge and counterattack them. 2) Also in melee combat, you can just use the guard break to immediately takedown your opponent.
To unlock the availability of the Assassin Darcy You have to purchase the operator the outfit the cloak is not a free accessory Darcy is for purchase in the Legion operator store section but after purchasing she will be unavailable until you complete about two to three of the synchronize story line missions otherwise known as also Assassin contracts under the missions description and once completed Darcy will be a available playable operator
The take downs with her hidden blade is just as satisfying as the John wick take downs with the hitman… best game ever ! Can’t wait for more this year ! (If there will be)
I was expecting there to be some kind of backlash against Darcy but she's been surprisingly well received. Kinda hoping we see her in an upcoming Assassin's Creed game, as a link to Watch Dogs
It feels like big middle finger to AC fans actually. That they had non canon character that better than last protagonist in recent games, in a futuristic setting 😂
I just wish her outfit was a bit more modern like Evie's classic outfit. Like maybe just jeans and an inconspicuous hoodie. The white robe seems out of place and really noticeable. It defeats the purpose of blending in. Especially since in modern times Abstergo used Helix to make Assassin video games. So people on the street would see Darcy and immediately know who she is lol
To be fair, she did have a normal-looking outfit with the Assasin insignia on the back. She promptly ditched it or put it away after she got the conspicuous outfit.
Would love to actually play as her, if the parkour wasn’t broken in the mission to get her. Nice job Ubisoft, Failing at parkour in missions based around it.
@@shckum23 I found a way to make her good in gunfights. I just fire an instant headshot, roll to reload and take cover, get more headshots, then repeat. It feels like GTA RnG but with better combat rolling.

@@mrpopo5097 the point of the game is to have unique characters that have different abilities, you're not changing the entire game changing one characters animations and adding things to accommodate those animations in the game world. It took them almost a year to release this half baked bullshit.
I'm loving the assassin creed content, it looks like they focused too much on Darcy that they almost forgot about online completely. I'm disappointed that on xbox, you cant swap to public game on invasion and legion of dead is additonal online mode.
Anyone else pulling their hair out over the tomb parkour? Super annoying. The game mechanics keep forcing me to drop down instead of jumping to the next platform. Can’t even unlock her 🤦♂️
A tip I found is to walk to the edge and hold the jump button. It should make you auto jump without fail. Someone posted this in some other vid and it changed my whole experience lol
Hidden blade can't be given to anyone else, but the electric knuckles do the same thing. I'd keep the knuckles at level 1 though- Level 2 does weird burst things that make it hard to 'assassinate' someone without killing or injuring civvies around you. And if you want to roleplay an actual AC character, just pretend it's Shaun's hidden taser from Syndicate.
I don't like that the charcters won't get the hidden blades while wearing the outfit mainly because the hidden blade is already attached to it so it looks so dumb that its just hanging around and doing nothing
@@chief5604 I mean when you use the blade you will get shot at if they see you using it. Plus, a lot of characters take up all ability slots. You'd have to have the ability to toggle it in order for it to work
She excellent character like her appearance in the game but the guns oh dear slow reload and 1 bullet???that's insane just can't accept that cause the enemy are using guns and shoots rapidly atleast a good gun for her or phantom blade design that would be awesome

You should have one (if you haven't done them yet) to meet Aiden, and meet Wrench - and I don't remember if it says to meet Darcy, but it definitely has something about Assassin's in it. I just completed the whole thing, and I gotta say, it's a bit of a letdown, since you can do the whole thing in 30 minutes w/out really rushing. In the PC version, to anyone reading this - the hint to jumping is you don't need to sprint. Pretty much space bar does the trick.

A modern day AC game would be great. They just need to add parkour. There is nothing wrong with how this plays. It's just missing climbing up buildings and accessing areas in different ways.
The actual reason is WD Legion from the beginning isn't optimalized for AC gameplay. It would be so much smoother if they build it as the original AC game

The gun reloads when you holster it so for quick reloads just press up on the dpad twice quickly
They should've made the gun insta kill tbh, she's really useless when tons of enemies are shooting at her

Yeah she isn't a character to bring with a gun fight, just in stealth mode, but if the ubi put a silent gun on her it would be delicious
