If they have that email on file with their cash app you should be just find to send them funds. You can also have them request the funds from you as well.

I think you have to cash out your balance first which i think means you have to transfer the money to your actual account. Then send the money that way.

It might be the amount possibly. Have dad send a small amount such as a $1 or so to your brother. Make sure they also both have the app allow access to their contacts. This will allow more trust between the two accounts.

Nope. There are no fees sending to friends and family. When sending to a business, they incur any fees.

Name would be for those in your contacts. It will pop up with your phones contacts or people you already have transferred with.
