Rest in peace Cliff Simon. I loved seeing him as Ba'al and his ability to pull you in with his performances. The way he started out as overbearring and intimidating and fell into the role with some comedic timing / more human aspects sold him to me. David you're such a good host. You know when to let the people talk and go with the flow and when to add bits.
Hathor fully traumatized me as a kid. I was like 5/6 years old and my dad and brother were watching Stargate on the TV in our kitchen and I went to the kitchen and saw that scene of Hathor in the bathtub with all those larvas in boiling water. After that for years I would absolutely never go to the kitchen while my brother and father were watching the show, was too scared lmao...
One think I would definitely miss from the new Stargate series, that if Brad Wright was the showrunner, there would be a possibility of seeing the actresses and actors that played Nirrti, Hathor, Apophis and other system lords in SG-1 in different guest and / or supporting roles. I can say the same about Wraith Queen Andee Frizzell. Brad Wright's "Travelers" was a solid sci-fi TV series and I loved it when I noticed some familiar faces here and there in guest roles. Wouldn't expect anything like that with the new Amazon-MGM showrunners that don't necessarily give a flying F about SG1-Atlantis-Universe lore, unless, of course, some people at the helm of New Stargate turn out to be long time fans of the show.
Cliff was the system lord I loved to hate. God bless him, he was awesome. as were you ladies. You fit your parts so well! Hubby, who jokes that it was my being a redhead that captured his attention before we met, said, Hathor had to be a redhead.
I watch all of the in memoriam segments that they do on the news, yet never once did they mention Cliff Simon. This makes me almost as sad as learning that he died. He played the only good Goa'uld that they ever encountered. Maybe I'm alone in this thought, but without him I don't think they could bring the show back now even if they had good ideas for the story.
R.I.P. Cliff Simon. What a gem that guy was! Wish he were still with us.
Daniel Jackson: Hathor was the Egyptian goddess of fertility, inebriety, and music.
Jack O'Neill: Sex, drugs, and rock & roll?
The performance of Jaqueline playing Niirty was mind boggling. My deepest respect and admiration.

Those video clips were superb. Watching them giggling and messing about was such a treat.

I was older and that scene had the exact opposite effect on me.

Nice. Hathor still got it 😘
Great work guys loving this look back
heh, i can't be the only one that got a chuckle when they noticed "ofCOURSE it's Hathor with the heavy make-up usage 😆"
Hahaha, was laughing tears 😂, at the same time sad that Cliff is gone 😔
Hathor still looks great, she is the goddess of sex, drugs and rock and roll.

Who is the woman on the right side?
Hathor.
And she looks great.
@@tyrannicpuppy Ra had good taste when it came to women.
Suanne Braun is beautiful!
I always had this thing for Nirrti. HOT!! (No disrespect to Jacqueline's husband)
I'm a Hathor fan myself, she is a goddess.
Goa'uld or not, I'd worship Jacqueline Samuda if I were her husband.
