Surprisingly good. I have to admit I’m finding some gems on the bottom shelf. Stuff I never would have tried if not for doing this series. Some of these bottles I would actually buy again just because I enjoyed them. I really didn’t expect that honestly. Good stuff, cheers 🍻
@@BillMcGirrI just picked up a bottle of this tonight! $16.99, $18.01 out the door. Will be sampling it a bit later tonight. Maybe I'll review it 😃 Cheers!
@ Cool beans. I’m starting a parallel series tonight called the NOT cheap Whiskey review. I’ll keep the cheap whiskey review series going. But I’m going to break it up with better bottles. #1. Tonight will be Weller full proof (blue label.) Found it today at my liquor store. My girl also asked me my favorite scotch for a Christmas present… so I suppose that’ll be on the way after Christmas. I hope you enjoy it my friend. Probably the best $17 bottle I’ve ever had. And there’s no tax or deposit on liquor in my state. Best wishes my brother.💪👍🥃
@@BillMcGirr I was going to grab the Sexton, but it was close to $35 for a 750ml !! Your review of Grants really got me wanting to buy one. How you described it, is exactly what I look for in a Scotch. I went to their website, and they look really legitimate. I really like your cheap whiskey reviews. Thanks for doing all the testing, so we don't have to 👍!
@ I have to admit Sexton is probably my favorite under $30 bottle I’ve ever had. It’s $26 here. But a lot of that is sentimental too. My best friend who lives in Maine… we discovered it together so it’s kind of like our get together and share a bottle whiskey. We always get one when we hang around together. I did really like the Grants. It was different in a good way. Tasty.👍 No worries. I drink cheap whiskey so you don’t have to.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🥃 Make a good tag line. I might use it.💪
Good deal, and it seems to pass the Mick test! Cheers brother!
