There is a lot of confusion currently in the world about various issues such as 5G, RFID Chip etc. which clamour for the attention of the mind, that the broad objective of preaching the gospel is getting lost in the background noise.

Once I starting studying the Bible through the SDA church all my questions were answered. Brought up catholic I had never opened the Bible nor studied it. Keeping the Bible Sabbath is part of my relationship with Jesus. Trust Him He is the only Way!

Grew up a Baptist...... fell away when my mother died when I was 16. Married a SDA man when I was in my mid to late twenties.. and even though after 13 years of marriage I found he was a pedophile, I learned the beautiful truth of the Sabbath that otherwise I may not have found...

Go to Romans 10:9-10 and say the Prayer of Salvation and get baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - full immersion in water to symbolize being dead to the old self and being born again in Christ as a new creation. @@carolmaund7775 l know what you say very well,BUT, show me one church that does the will of John the Baptist, he baptized people into the river after they took the decision that they are wrong in them ways against God, without that they have to show a looooooong prove that they are repented.
All the churches l was they refused to baptise any sinners, timidity they was aware that they are sinners, they need confessions and proves.
I know that I don't have to look at people or after beautiful buildings.
Jesus said that we have to confess to God hide our sins, not public, He said that no one that comes at Him, He will throw away, but how come that soo called Christians, they renegade you at the first time?

This was so informative. Thank you so much for doing this series. I am now on episode 227 of the Total Onslaught series-I have learned more about the Bible prophecies and the scriptures from these than I learned in my 20 years going to my protestant church. I have great respect for all the work you both are doing. But we cant trust anything Rome has given us in the past or future.
I was told I could not be a sabbath school teacher because I believed Jesus was the Begotten Son of God and not a philosophical Son by a Role Playing Trinity of coequal gods. Which is what All the fallen churches teach in line with ecumenicalism and the Catholic Church. I was told to go to the JWs or start my own church and to “vote with my feet” in the most unchristlike way possible. They removed the most Christlike people from my church this way and have since gone the way of Babylon. Very sad but that’s the spirit of Rome, forcing the conscious.

Maggie, it saddens me that this has happened to you. I am so sad at the misinformation being stated about what those of us who have returned to the historical view of God the Father, His only Begotten (not created) Son and Their Spirit believe. We believe what everyone of the pioneers believed, including Ellen White. My heart has ached over the way Veith handled this topic for less than 2 minutes and planted in the minds of those listening, who haven't studied the issue, that people who do not believe the Holy spirit to be a 3rd being also believe that Jesus was created. This is WRONG. Do you think he has literally not studied this issue? I'm so disheartened, I don't know what to think about how Veith stated this???

I also don't believe in that other Jesus that is being presented but I believe in the Son, the begotten Son of God.
But Walter does not really believe in the fake son of God either; neither do most SDAs : they have been deceived by this mix of reuth and error. It is this mixing of Truth and error that deceives so many. These preachers use biblical language and then they say that they believe in a trinity. You can't have both. You can't say that God sent his only son into the world when you don't really believe that God is the father who sent his son.
This is a great explanation of SDA belief. A must listen too.

I have a question for professor veith
In the book of revelation chapter 20 it says
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years"
Now I have understood this to be three different categories of people in different times:" those who were beheaded" were those who were murdered for Christ's sake during the 1260 years. Then there is Those who had not worshiped the beast or his image. And then those who did not receive the mark on the forehead or on the hand.
Now those who did not worship the beast and those who did not receive the mark on the forehead/hand will be at different times: there will be a Sunday law that will be enforced and I've heard Walter say this time will make Sabbath keepers very uncomfortable and he will be not concerned, if they force Sunday worship well then I'll go on both days and my weekend will be glorious because I get a weekend out of it, that is the "those who did not worship the beast" and then there is the " those who did not receive the mark on the forehead/hand" is later when Sabbath keepers will be such a thorn in the side of Rome that they will enforce and anti-sabbath law that will make Sabbath keeping on Saturday a crime, this being the mark of the beast..... So is this true and what about the Sunday law? Will I be in condemnation if I go on Sunday as forced but am preaching the truth in the audience that yesterday was the true Sabbath and why are we all here on Sunday instead of the day God said to be? it is clear that there is 3 distinct descriptions in those verses the 1260 years when people who were beheaded, then those who worship the beast and the image, and those who receive the mark of the beast, which is the anti-sabbath law, because they will force people to worship on Sunday, but when this Sunday law begins, there will still be tolerance for Sabbath keepers, which is the true Sabbath, they will not yet be banning the 7th day Sabbath, I have been taught and it makes sense, them forcing Sunday worship on Sabbath keepers has no effect on those who know the true Sabbath, being forced is not true worship, fine, if you force me to worship on Sunday, as long as the true biblical Sabbath is allowed, then by all means, I'll be happy to go to your church and still worship the true Sabbath, but while I'm in a Sunday service, I'll be telling those there about the true Sabbath day, I have heard Walter in lectures say the same thing; if they force me to worship that day well fine I'll make a weekend of it. It is not until they make a law that BANS THE TRUE SABBATH DAY and anti-sabbath law, that's when they say you are not allowed to worship on that day only Sunday, this is the Mark of the beast, then this is where those who stand for truth will be killed and problems really begin, I'm wanting Walter to clearify this for me, I have studied the spirit of prophecy, there is two distinct times in sequence: the force of Sunday worship and then an anti-sabbath law one following the other.... Can you help answer this for me thank you

@@Psalms2.6ministrydavidkelley You have to make a choice to follow God and keep His Commandments which include the Sabbath day or follow the Roman Catholic teachings of Sunday worshiping and other false doctrines, also the day on which sun god worshipers pray to their sun god. There will basically be four groups of people when Jesus comes to collect the saved. There will be the dead and alive unsaved and the dead and alive saved. Jesus' second coming, just before the Millennium will be to collect the saved, dead and alive. Among the dead there will be those that were beheaded and all the other who believed but died in different ways. There will not be three specific groups as you mentioned. After the Millennium, all the unsaved will be resurrected to be destroyed by fire and brimstone.
it is encompassed on each of us to discover the truth and Thank You Prof Veith for what you have done in changing my life

Diligent bible study cuts through all the sidetracking dross that is aimed at distracting our focus on the 3 angels message- thanks for the clear insights. I am a conservative SDA .
I’m far more interested in Walters lectures/ sermons then the questions they mentioned. Although I honor a Saturday sabbath I believe however that it sunrise to sunrise. I find him incredibly knowledgeable and he allows me to view things with more clarity. This has done nothing but strengthen my faith.

@Rick Hinojosa In this case (for me) I have listened to Professor Veith for at least 5 years, countless lectures of countless hours. I am so familiar with his work which has always been marvelously researched. Every single lecture has been informative, fascinating, and always scripturally sound. This is why I’m confident enough to leave a thumbs up ahead of time. Perhaps that is why others have done the same.

Croats, Pope warriors, killed over 1,000,000 Serbs in WW2. There was one story of guy called "Вукашин" who is respected as saint here. One Croat, Žile Friganović, was ready to slaughter him and "Вукашин" said to him "Son, just do your job". He said that without hate or everything. They wanted from him to bow down on pope, first he cut off his left, then his right ear, and after that nose. "Вукашин" was still and silent. Then the Croat chop off his heart and he pushed him in the pit.
All of that was during the game, contest, Croats had a game on who can slaughter more Serbs with "srbosjek". Petar Brzica won that day with 1360 killed Serbs, because Žile Friganović, who killed "Вукашин" gave up after him because of bad feeling. After that event, that guy Žile Friganović went mad. He had't had the sanity or power to forget "Вукашин" 's heavenly peace while he was on his knees.
That's the reason why Croats are calling Serbs "heavenly people". They hate us from the bottom of their hearts.
And that's the reason why everyone hate us. Vaticane propaganda. In the book of revelation chapter 20 it says
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years"
Now I have understood this to be three different categories of people in different times:" those who were beheaded" were those who were murdered for Christ's sake during the 1260 years. Then there is Those who had not worshiped the beast or his image. And then those who did not receive the mark on the forehead or on the hand.
Now those who did not worship the beast and those who did not receive the mark on the forehead/hand will be at different times: there will be a Sunday law that will be enforced and I've heard Walter say this time will make Sabbath keepers very uncomfortable and he will be not concerned, if they force Sunday worship well then I'll go on both days and my weekend will be glorious because I get a weekend out of it, that is the "those who did not worship the beast" and then there is the " those who did not receive the mark on the forehead/hand" is later when Sabbath keepers will be such a thorn in the side of Rome that they will enforce and anti-sabbath law that will make Sabbath keeping on Saturday a crime, this being the mark of the beast..... So is this true and what about the Sunday law? Will I be in condemnation if I go on Sunday as forced but am preaching the truth in the audience that yesterday was the true Sabbath and why are we all here on Sunday instead of the day God said to be? it is clear that there is 3 distinct descriptions in those verses the 1260 years when people who were beheaded, then those who worship the beast and the image, and those who receive the mark of the beast, which is the anti-sabbath law, because they will force people to worship on Sunday, but when this Sunday law begins, there will still be tolerance for Sabbath keepers, which is the true Sabbath, they will not yet be banning the 7th day Sabbath, I have been taught and it makes sense, them forcing Sunday worship on Sabbath keepers has no effect on those who know the true Sabbath, being forced is not true worship, fine, if you force me to worship on Sunday, as long as the true biblical Sabbath is allowed, then by all means, I'll be happy to go to your church and still worship the true Sabbath, but while I'm in a Sunday service, I'll be telling those there about the true Sabbath day, I have heard Walter in lectures say the same thing; if they force me to worship that day well fine I'll make a weekend of it. It is not until they make a law that BANS THE TRUE SABBATH DAY and anti-sabbath law, that's when they say you are not allowed to worship on that day only Sunday, this is the Mark of the beast, then this is where those who stand for truth will be killed and problems really begin, I'm wanting Walter to clearify this for me, I have studied the spirit of prophecy, there is two distinct times in sequence: the force of Sunday worship and then an anti-sabbath law one following the other.... Excellent episode! We are speeding to the end. Have the crew of Clash of Minds seen the videos relating to the solar eclipse that will occur in America. There is an interesting video called ( 2024 Solar Eclipse and insane Prophecy Events Are Coming!). God wrote the whole story of Redemption in the Sky and showed this to Adam, but you don't actually hear much of it today.

the Deity! I believe about God the Father and His only begotten Son as EGW and the rest of the pioneers did for the 1st 50-75 years and those beluefs certainly do not match the current church's Trinitarian views.
I know not one single person or preacher in the One True God movement that teaches that Christ is not fully divine, fully deity. No one teaches that the Son of God is created. We are SDA's NOT JW's! I pray you will study this issue and re- adress this most foundational issue. The Deity of Christ is non-negotiable to me too. But I will never again believe in a Catholic philosophical role playing "God-head" ever ever again. No where in the Bible or SOP is the Holy spirit referred to as a 3rd divine being.

Wasn’t sure if it was a good thing but I checked it out and I am now closer to some of these people than my childhood friends, I only spent 3 sabbaths with them and then the virus hit. Also the infant baptism of the Catholic Church is not a biblical baptism because true conversation is based on a personal decision to follow Christ. It is also done by full submersion not sprinkling. In the SDA and most Protestant churches we do baby dedication but it is not considered a baptism but a blessing and promise of the church members to help the child find Christ.

As for the deity of Christ : He is fully God in nature and equal to God, His Father as your son is fully human in nature and equal to you. You own Son would not be a lesser human than you are; neither is Jesus a lesser God than His Father, yet Jesus is the son of God and the Father is known as the MOST HIGH, and THE HIGHEST, and the ALMIGHTY.
I hear by your teachings that you don't really believe in the trinity. Any time that a person says that the FATHER sent THE SON to save us, that is not trinity /godhead language, but that is the truth of the Bible : the REAL FATHER DID REALLY SEND HIS SON INTO THIS WORLD. A trinity believing person would have to say, "Part of 'God' who chose to be called 'the Father' sent another part of 'God' who chose to be called 'his Son' into this world to to be our Saviour.
You also don't believe that 'God the Holy Spirit' is the second mediator between God and man, for the Bible clearly teaches that there is only 1: Jesus Christ. Who/what is the Holy Spirit?
It is the spirit of God, God's own Spirit coming to us through Christ. The Father and Son promise to abide in Believers. It is the personal presence of Christ with has followers. For if my assurance of salvation is today based on the righteousness of Christ alone but at some time in the future I will have to “perfectly reflect Christ’s character “ in order to receive the seal of God (and thus be saved) then is that not dispensationalism?

I’m confused - I thought we DO need to be sinless in order to be in heaven - that this process of sanctification is ongoing and we need to achieve perfection by giving our will to Christ so sin will not rise up a second time. While the Seventh day Adventist Church itself has never set a date for the second coming of Jesus, there was a group of Christians in the 1840's called the Millerites in the United States who predicted that Jesus would come on October 22, 1844. This group was comprised of people from all different denominations--Baptists, Methodists, etc. Because they believed in a literal second coming of Jesus, they were referred to as Adventists (not Seventh day Adventists as they worshipped on Sunday at that time. The term Adventist simply means a believer in the second coming of Jesus). (There was also a group in Europe at the same time led I believe, by Joseph Fox.) When Jesus didn't come as they had anticipated, it was called The Great Disappointment. From this experience came some new denominations, among them the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (also known as the Mormons), the Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Seventh day Adventists (SDA's). The SDA Church was founded in 1863, and in the United States where I live, has frequently been confused with these other two denominations, even though the teachings of these churches have some prominent differences. While the SDA Church has never set a date for the return of Christ, the Jehovah's Witnesses have in the past done so, and in the 20th century were claiming that Jesus had come secretly in, I believe they said, 1942 or 1948. They referred to it as "parousia", if I remember correctly. It's been a long time since I had the conversation with one of them.
I hope this helps to clarify this issue for you. If you would like to know more about SDA history, there is a group in Australia that has recorded a DVD entitled "Tell the World". It comes in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. If there is not an Adventist Book Center available, I'm assuming it could be ordered through www.adventistbookcenter.com. Many Christian's will say there are only two commandments. Love God and love fellow man. Which those 2 are mentioned in the new Testament. So how to respond to that?
I would suggest praying and asking the Holy Spirit to guide regarding what to say. It depends on the person asking. It's sometimes a matter of understanding with the heart, other times it's a simple intellectual misunderstanding. Jesus says on those two commandments hang all the law and the prophets (Matthew 22:4). So those two summarize the principles of not just the 10 commandments, but the Old Testament and the entire Bible. He also said if we love Him, keep His commandments (John 14:15). And in Matthew 5 Jesus expounds on the principles of the commandments (eg. verses 19-24 and verses 27-28). God bless you.
Love the lord your God with all your heart, mind, body and soul. That points to the first 4 commandments and that's your relationship with God.
And the 2nd, love your neighbor as yourself, that points to last 6 commandments and that is our guide for our relationships with our neighbors.
All the Commandments are condensed in these 2...Love God, the first 4, and love thy neighbor, the last 6. So there are still 10 Commandments.

Those who teach and believe in a secret Rapture take this one verse in the Bible and create a whole false theory about 'some taken' and 'some left'. As in the days of Noah, those that were left were Noah and his family...just 8 people. Those that were taken were those who perished in the waters. So If you understand Thessalonians 4:17 correctly by studying what 'taken' and 'left' means, you will discover for yourself that there is no such teaching in the Bible about a Secret Rapture. Pray and ask God for wisdom through the Holy Spirit that He guides you in studying your Bible. There are many videos here on YT that preach the Gospel Truth and not spurious theories. There is a truthful sermon by Pastor Stephen Bohr titled 'The Secret Rapture Fallacy' here on YT. Please listen to this sermon, it will open up the Truth of the Bible to you.
Rahel. The rapture theory is called "the Secret Rapture" which is false. Cannot use a single verse to justify a relative "new" viewpoint. When our Saviour returns it will be a noisy affair. Nothing secret about it. The gathering of the saved ones is a part of the whole affair. I would suggest that you use different Bible versions when you study the topic yourself.

At the time of Jesus the Roman calendar was a 8 day week Cycle And the Jews at that time would never had used the Roman Julian calendar eight day week cycle so they would’ve been using the lunar solar calendar given to them by God in genesis

And what is Christ wasn't created but born, or begotten.... then john 3:16 would make sense.. If he wasn't born, then the Father in his infinite wisdom has confused us. I mean we would then be calling everything metaphors, the lords prayer, sitting on the right hand of the father, including the sanctuary with one moving from holy to most holy while and sits on the throne. If this is a metaphor then we should further conclude that all the sanctuary is a metaphor i.e. no sanctuary in heaven?

Hello Professor Veith! I love your research however I've not found our heard good reason for Saturday being the Sabbath of Scripture. I agree manna was provided for the Sabbath on the 6th day but nowhere does it state it was a Friday as you stated here. Except in translations in which you did an excellent job in exposing as having critical errors in previous lectures. I was waiting for you to comment on the most pertinent verses in Scripture that teach how day, night, work day, New Moon Day, Sabbath, and Appointed times are discussed. Especially in Genesis, but everywhere else that numbered months, numbered days, and days of the week are given. With so many examples given, I find it reckless to just jump on a Julian or Gregorian calendar, or even a Jewish one for that matter. It is inescapable that the luminaries, sun, moon, and stars, were declared to show appointed times yet SDA and world religions completely ignore the luminaries or consider 1 or 2 but not all 3. I don't understand how that has happened.

Hello Luis G, the weekly 7th day Sabbath is not based on the movement of the heavenly bodies (sun, moon). The weekly cycle stands by itself. For example, 1 day is 24hr based on the rotation of the earth on it's axis, 1 year is 365 1/4 days based on the revolution of the earth around the sun, and 1 month is based on the lunar cycle. But there is no cosmological reason why 1 week is 7 days versus 5 days or 10 days. The weekly Sabbath, the Sabbath of the commandment is the 7th day simply because God said so. As Prof Veith said around 6:51, when God created the cycle of the week the moon did not exist. So the weekly Sabbath is different from the lunar sabbaths (which are based on the movement of the moon). Interestingly, the weekly Sabbath was instituted before sin (just like marriage) and the ceremonial lunar sabbaths were instituted after sin. The other thing is in many languages and cultures the root word for the 7th day is Sabbath. So outside of Jewish, Gregorian, and Julian influences their are also other historical indications that the word for the 7th day is Sabbath in many languages since the word for Saturday in those languages are sabado (Spanish), Subbota (Russian), Sabbato (Italian), Sabbaton (Greek). This says that the lights are there to show us when daytime and nighttime are, that the lights are signs for us to know appointed times, and to know the seasons, days and years. How can you say that the sun, moon, and stars don't mean anything in light of this passage in Genesis? I found a channel explaining a celestial calendar where the sun, moon, and stars are given for man to know the times just like Genesis says. God doesn't need the sun moon, and stars to tell time but man does. In this calendar system based on what the sun, moon, and stars do in the sky year in and year out and what the Bible says about them, the moon signals where in the month we are with its phases. The sun signals the day and night with its rising and setting. The stars signal what seasons we are in and how far we are into the year by their position in the sky. The appointed times always have the sun, moon, and stars in their appointed positions in the sky year in and year out as well.
What about these verses in Lamentations 2 to show that the true Sabbath would be forgotten in Zion.
6And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.
@@prayerpower1585 Also, the day is not exactly 24 hours, it is adjusted daily. The year is not exactly 365 1/4 days and if the months are based on the moon cycle why are there months with 28, 29, 30, or 31 days if the moon cycle is always either 29 or 30 days?
