Leica MC1 create your own Model / Surface

Dodgy simulator tutorial by myself exploring the ability to create your own surfaces onboard the MC1 Leica software.
I find it quite difficult to get good workflows across using the simulator but hopefully the tutorial gives someone some confidence to give it a shot.
It is a great way to keep yourself busy without depending on other people issuing models.
I hope to be able to provide much better in the field tutorials some time very soon.

Alan do you know how to export an asbuilt surface model ?

You can export the individual recorded points via ConX by going to files - Asbuilt-download points - save as CSV then model the points in whatever 3D software you use
