Hello 😀 Yes, you can use them even in the same routine. But if you only use these two serums, it may be best to use one in the evening and the other in the morning. AM: Cleanser Vitamin C SPF (if exposed to the sun) PM: Cleanser LiftActive B3 (Optional moisturizer for your skin type and needs)
Hello Melissa. Im using Avene Milk Cleanser...can i follow it with Vichy Toner , then Vichy B3 Corrector then Vichy LifaActive night.. In that Order ? Thanks.
Hi Melissa: can you use laroche-posay retinol B3 serum at night and then put Vichy LiftActiv B3 serum containing Niacinamide, Glycolic acid,Vitamin C, & Peptide over it?
It may work. However, I'm not sure about the pH of Vichy's serum as it contains Glycolic Acid. You can try it, but if sensitivity occurs, keep them separate. What Peptides do you use?
Hi Melissa can I mix this with a retinol at night? I read that one can mix vitamin C with a retinol for a more powerful combination.I don' t have brown spots but I have a few fine lines. Thank u . :)
You may want to look into The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution instead. Or check out Paula's Choice 0,3% Retinol Treatment, that one and the 1% are quite powerful😅
Hi Melissa, Is it better to use the liftactiv b3 serum or the la roche posay retinol b3 serum ? I am 30 yrs old and have very sensitive and reactive skin. I use gentil moisturizers for sensitive and dry skin, and a salicylic acid cleanser at night. I’m very easily prone to breakouts. I was on adapalene for a long time and my skin never got used to it, it only got better when I stopped. What would you recommend ? I use either la roche posay or Vichy sunscreen depending on which one is available a the drugstore
Hmm, well, in that case, it might be best to use Liftactiv B3 Serum. However, it contains glycolic acid, so it may already be too strong. The Retinol B3 Serum will likely also cause purging as it has a concentration of 0.3%, making it potentially similar to the Adapalene. It might be a better idea to opt for a Tranexamic Acid Serum that does not contain glycolic acid. Perhaps something like Paula's Choice CLINICAL Discoloration Repair Serum would work if you want to stay within that price range. If you're feeling more experimental, you could also try Good Molecules Discoloration Serum. Regardless, I think there's no way around testing these products as it heavily depends on their specific formulations.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Hi again ! So, after about a month of using liftactiv b3 serum, i have to say: it's a success ! No irritation at all, skin is smoother and healthier ! I am still looking for another gentle acid to go with it, to help with texture, and acne. I was thinking of incorporating Mandelic acid, either as a serum (the ordinary) or a toner (not sure which one yet) , as it is a gentle AHA or the salicylic acid toner from Vichy. What do you think ? Also which vit c, or other antioxidant would you recommend for the AM ? Thank you !!
I believe once a week might not be sufficient. I'd recommend using it at least every other day. However, it really depends on your skin's individual tolerance. Technically, you can use it daily if your skin can handle it.
