The batch of episodes with these couples originally aired the week of June 4, 1974. Before "Charlie's Angels", Cheryl Ladd was the singing voice of Melody on "Josie and the Pussycats". Several weeks earlier, the speaking voice of Melody, Jackie Joseph was on with her then-husband, Ken Berry. Both ladies would be divorced (Cheryl from David) and both have since remarried.

I love Cheryl Ladd.. never knew that she was on this show! Excellent answer to the "relatives" question ;D Roxanne is funny. Of course, later on Bert would guest star on an episode of 'Charlie's Angels' with Cheryl.

Jack and Roxanne Carter got divorced in 1977 but what you may not know is they remarried in 1992 and stayed together until he died in 2015.
What's more interesting is despite their divorce in 1977, they were also in Tattletales' second run in the 80s. The love must have not disappeared but I wonder what caused the divorce in the first place.

Lily Tomlin didn't leave; she simply went backstage to make Chad and Dick a sandwich.
GREAT DRESSER
Because Betty White died last week, you can't watch any 1970s game ahow on you tube that does not have White and Ludden on them. I watched Medical Center when new, and thought Chad Everett was real cute back then. You'd have to feel very confident to be his wife...he was a heartthrob.

Yes! She was the singing voice of Melody, the drummer from Josie And The Pussycats. Two different albums of their music was released. Later, when she became an "angel," she released three albums and had one Top 40 hit - Think It Over. She was also the first person to record I Know I'll NEver Love This Way Again. Dionne Warwick's version was a cover and Barry Manilow unnecessarily changed the arrangement - because Cheryl Ladd's was better. Chad Everett also took a crack at being a recording artist too. He recorded one album, but didn't have any hits off of it.

Nearly all the couples whoever appeared on that show got divorced.

Bert Convy was quite good looking. Chad too, but I've heard he was kind of a jerk.
My Buddy's dad was a Stuntman in Hollywood back in early 80s and He was in Cannonball Run. He said Convey almost got his ass beat everyday on set from running his mouth. He was actually a baseball player in Los Angeles Dodgers system till he blew his knees out. Thats how he ended up in the Movies.

Chad’s interview w Dick Cavett /Lily Tomlin made me think Chad was a jerk
I was in the hospital at Cedars-Sinai across the hall from Bert Convy in this final weeks. I used to see him every day in physical therapy -- I was there because I'd been run down by a car in a crosswalk and he had terminal brain cancer.. He went out of his way to introduce himself to me and say hello. So maybe he was jerk as a baseball player, but he was nice to me.
