Bert reminds me of Patrick Duffy ❤ so handsome! And always well dressed.
I forgot how beautiful Patty was and John Astin was so handsome.
Like John Astin and his devilish grin!😊❤
Claire is so sweet!! That hotel management was inappropriate!
Just love Mitzi and Charlie. They are so good together. I love this game show. Some are the guest star's are very funny.
Claire is smart, funny and just gorgeous! Loved that story!
Claire was adorable
Peter Kier
My thoughts exactly. It is so cute, and who says the Entertainer don't have live long marriages? That is terrific, and she's so cute!
love the mitchllls
Patty looks beautiful.
Even though Clare story was long, I enjoyed hearing it
Those outfits Bert wears are gorgeous. So is he. Love those three couples. My second best trio.
Bert was incredibly handsome and adorable.
I like them all but I think Mitzi is always cute and funny!
For classic Star Trek fans, Charlie Brill is a significant character in original Trek and DS9.
Brilliant played the Klingon agent disguised as human in the Tribbles episodes of both series.
👍Excellent trivia. BTW, he and Mitzi as of today are both still alive!
Boy was Patty Duke Gorgeous when she was young!
Close tight scores, funny questions, funnier answers, enjoyable people. Terrific episode!🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏
Rest In Peace Scoey Mitchell
Love this show, but glad that some things have changed since this time.
That was a great story Claire told everyone. I loved it. Loved the way Scoey handled it by saying the studio would pay for the extra person.
Mitzi is adorable.
Anybody notice how giddy Bert Convy would get whenever Claire Mitchell was there? She is beautiful!
Tell us the story Claire, and don't leave out any details.
boy, that did take forever.
They're still married.
@@elsiekaminski8588 No they're not.
Scoey Mitchell died in March 2022 aged 92.
🤣🤣🤣
Bert Convey sure was easy on the eyes..😊
I am baffled by the height shown online for Scoey Mitchell (now 91 y.o.) - 5'8. (He strikes me as much taller.. I am often confused as to contestants' heights on Tattletales. Doesn't matter, just curious.)
Scoey Mitchell (91 y.o.) started as a pro baseball player before moving into acting (at age 35?), then directing, writing and production - mainly in TV, incl. such shows as Smothers Brothers, MTM & Rhoda, 6 Million Dollar Man & others, along with many game shows. He & Claire (age unknown) married in 1973 and have been married almost 50 years (not entirely certain on their current status, kids, etc. as their relationship and family are shielded from public view. But no indication that they have divorced.) - Oct. 15, 2021.
I don't think Scoey and Claire had any children.
It says they were still married. Scoey was survived by his wife Claire when he died in 2022.
Always loved this show so much fun 😊
I think Patty was beautiful, and they were such a nice couple!!!!
Patty is pretty!!! I use to have a huge crush on her son McKenzie...
Love Patty snd John! She fid look pretty with long hair too! !!
Did lol
I just noticed Patty stomping towards Astin after he got the "Turn on anoher man" question. "She was annoyed😂
Rare fill in by Johnny Olson on the announce mike here. For the 1982 version of the show John was the regular announcer.
Seeing John Astin here I just see Gomez and expect him with Morticia Too much AF I guess stuck in my head🙂
Such time capsules these are
awesome game show
Bring the show back
Longest story ever.
Someone could turn that into a movie
True but she was so cute....lol
I miss Patty.
Mee too
Rebecca sabet
These ladies are all very cuties!
I was 13 during 1974, and I watched this game a lot when new, but I have no idea who those 2 couples were on this episode with patty Duke and John astin...I never heard of Mitzi and Charlie. I thought John Astin was cute.
Go back and watch "Star Trek", "The Trouble with Tribbles"
MY THREE FAVORITS.
It's a shame Patty Duke died so young
Yes and that Patty was married to someone else when she passed. I was surprised that she and John weren't together till the end. I thought they were so good together 😔
Patty Duke was beautiful
June 11, 1974
He is from Adams family
Dimple Darling Mitzie
Don't remember this game show growin' up back in Utah, this series aired in the eastern U.S.?
330 p ms
ps I lived in Ashland,Oregon and thats pretty West.
Kathy Booth Aha! 3:30 pm, was in school during this hour, as for the summer vacation period, probably hiking and other outdoor activities.
Always wonder how much the audience would win ?
When you think about it, it really wasnt all that much was it, considering all those people that has to share it. Especially since they give away so much more money these days..
I wish Bert would also the questions
funny story sounds like something that would happen to me
Bert didn't get the 5 kids joke.
Patty Duke passed away recently
died march 29th of sepsis, i met her in 2007, nicest person, and the bluest eyes i ever saw
I missed the game
Johnny Olson announces
What did Scoey Mitchell do besides game shows?
Scoey Mitchlll (correct spelling) was a comedian and actor, and later on he would write and produce as well.
I know right.... there's not too many people I don't know on all these old game shows but I had NO idea who he was except that he shows up on all the game shows lmao
He played Joe Gerard's business partner on Rhoda.
what do they do with the money they win ?
They don't. The audience wins the money. The total amount won by the couples is split to each member of their section. A check-cutting machine printed out checks to be distributed to the audience as they left the studio.
+BUZZRPlus+ thanks, boy that's not much money for all those people
When you consider that most people don't get anything when they watch a TV show in person, $10 would be nice. And $10 back in 1974 is worth about $50 today.
Did the sections divide $800 or get $800 per person?
Divide!!
Money was divided
Mitzi and Charlie were one of my faves
There is a podcast on RUclips with Charlie and Mitzi…. They said this was their favorite game show because they could just be themselves
@@4508blueskythanks...I'm going to check that out!!👍🤗
