So, Renee seems super nice and chill in every interview. But I think the difference between her and Taylor is that Taylor acts like Regina, whereas Renee IS Regina and doesn’t act as much 🤣 They’re definitely both amazing, but just different interpretations.

Marga Virra I love this! There’s no one right way to play her and I love the unique difference each girl brings. For example Ashley de la Rosa has a very blunt and angry Regina while Cailen has more of a preppy school girl Regina, and I love both of them too. ^_^

I think this is the first time I've seen that they did a song live dring the Macy's. It was a bit rusty but we all know that renee is a powerhouse queen.

She is truly a wonder and fantastic vocalist. In the movie musical this scene is brilliantly choreographed (not at all like this one for the street) In full, the entire movie is quite impressive and wonderfully cast. I loved every song in it and how they brought these characters into music interpretation. Well done
This performance is 100x better than the film
To me Renée may have been off more times than usual, but she also sounds more human while still keeping her character as regina and that's really commendable! Phenomenal as usual Renee 🥳🤩
I think there was a key change for the new Aaron, it sounded slightly higher

I think it was largely due to the fact that they haven't sung like this in months because of the pandemic.

I thought that's probably who that was. Haven't seen the tour yet though.
The ensemble guys I recognized are Kevin Csolak, who was OBC, but had left to do the movie remake & stage revival of West Side Story. And Drew Redington who was OBC in The Prom, and then joined Mean Girls afterward.
(Interestingly, Drew played Kevin in The Prom, presumably named after Kevin Csolak, who had played the previously unnamed role of the jock guy (in the pre-Bway run), who was played by Teddy Toye on Bway, who had previously played the jock dude's best friend, which became the character of Kevin. Teddy Toye also joined Mean Girls after The Prom ended.)
Oh and one of the other guys appears to be Daryl Tofa.

If you're referring to the bit before 4:03 where Aaron sings, this is a part of Someone Gets Hurt that all Aaron's have done, except for Cameron due to his lacklustre vocals. Unfortunately he was very miscast, so they cut Aaron's vocals here and had Renee sing alone when Cameron was in the show, but all other Aaron's (Kyle, the understudies, and the tour cast) would normally sing with Regina in this song.

@Logan Watkins, the riffs Renee does were added due to the kiss being cut, they had a few extra seconds to fill where Regina and Aaron normally kiss, so it was just so they weren't standing doing nothing.
