Yes, some of the sections showed the wrong type. No, I'm not going to reupload. Just listen to what I say, and ignore the graphics. I wasn't up late editing, Premiere was just being slow and annoying this morning, so I didn't catch the mistakes.
Trainer Tips it's ok I will always continue to support the channel and I might even purchase one of those backpacks. I just wanted to let you know what I saw and after all, you are my favorite RUclipsr.
Hey Nick, long time lurker, first time poster here. I just wanted to say "thank you" for all of your videos! I don't think a lot of people truly realize how much work it is to shoot, edit and upload a video each and every day. Honestly, I prefer watching your videos over actually playing the game, haha! 😊 Greetings from Germany and keep up the great work!
DonnaASMR Exactly what i wanted to say. The research in this video or the drone shots in other videos is so great and also the music wich is combined perfectly with the Video... just awsome. And also greetings from Germany
I have the feeling I started something here in Nick's comment section with my usual ending phrase ;-D However, couldn't agree more with DonnaASMR. btw: I just subscribed, interesting stuff, that ASMR-thingy. And as always: Greetings from Germany
Love your channel because it is more personal than many others. You make it your own and we can see glimpses of your life. Also, don't apologies for having advertisment, they are related to the channel and compared to some you have barely anythng. Finally, the waffles, heat them up a bit so the caramel becomes gooey. I usually eat the larges ones, lay them on my teacup for a while and let the tea cool for a bit whilst heating up the waffles, soo good!
Thanks for replying Ryan den Ridder, the function didn't seem to work for me until now.Stepahine Piche: Here in London, UK you can find them in normal grocery stores but not sure how common they are in other countries.
It's between 55-65, plus 10 shipping, depends on how early you back the project on Kickstarter :) www.kickstarter.com/projects/1646137495/go-backpack-the-best-companion-to-help-you-catch-e
Nick I know you like helping out small companies. I recently bought a Linky Electric Skateboard. It's a foldable electric skateboard with a lot of features such as water resistance, usb port to charge your phone & fast charging. Boosted reached out to Casey and he promoted their board. I think you could help promote Linky and help them out. I wish I could but I'm too small of a RUclipsr. I've met them in person and they are a company focused on safety & quality. Contact them and give them a chance. They are better than all these cheap ripoffs and other various boards.
+Trainer Tips lol when you started saying what stuff you can put into the bookbag, you reminded me of when in the cat in the hat movie he's saying what you can put into the cupcakeanator best youtuber ever
+Trainer Tips a mistake happened in the video bro but it's okay, you are human and we all make mistakes. Don't pay attention to the rude comments, cause im sure those people have all made mistakes too.
There are some where the listed order doesn't bear out when dodging because a lower tier pokemon can attack 2 or 3 times between dodges while the "best" can only reliably do one, maybe 2 if the gym pokemon is a slow attacker. But it also means better EPS for the quicker attacker meaning it gets to that charge attack quicker and if necessary more. But appreciate the work put into this, makes sorting out these cases easier
Thank you, Nick! I was ignoring the not-full evolved Pokemon in my spreadsheet, so I didn't notice that Scyther now has the moveset with the highest Flying type DPS, and its CP is high for a not-full evolved Pokemon, the same as Crobat!
I haven't ever enjoyed pokemon go videos, but for some reason I keep coming back to your channel and videos, so what ever you are doing, I like it and keep it up!
I bet some people already pointed it out but After you talk about Water pokemon at 12:30, ground is displayed. And when your talking about ground pokemon is displayed as "Steel" instead of ground. Love your channel~ keep it going.
Nick, I posted a comment on a previous video asking about where you got those table legs with the plug ports but I don't think you saw it. If you would be so kind, could you share where you got those table legs? Was the entire desk a kit (except for the crate pallet) or did you just buy the legs separately from the surface?
Tristan Villeneuve I'm with you, I don't even have a Dratini yet or Lapras. The only Pokémon I still need from gen one other than the region exclusives.
I love these informative videos with the best attackers and defenders. Although I love that you give us the best attackers by type, it might be also useful to take the top, say, 10 defenders. Blissey, snorlax, dragonite, gyarados etc, and show us the Pokemon with the best countering moveset. I am well-versed in Pokemon type advantages from the gameboy game series, but many others are not. Having Pokémon movesets that are not necessarily the same type but are still super effective against some of the most common defenders would be useful. For example, exeggutor is a common defender in my area, and bug type moves are doubly effective. But it would also be useful to know that murkrow is great for prestiging it and then transferring the feinted murkrow to save revives and potions because murkrow are both abundant and have a type advantage against exeggutor with both dark and flying type moves. Also, as another example, alakazam and espeon are now frequently found in gyms, and although ghost types are good against psychic, gengar may not be the best choice due to his poison type being weak to psychic. There are many examples, but I would love to see the top ten defenders and the top 6 or so best counters to each of those defenders.
@Trainer Tips (Nick) - really glad you managed to get this done as was waiting on this info... you may want to update your video though as you have the graphics of types wrong from water onwards (where you show ground), ground (you show steel... etc Still love your work...
A Lanturn with 2 electric type moves is so underrated and no blogger took it seriously yet, it is not even listed at TripleDex as a counter for water types. But I use it very often, with both Water and Electric type with way more tankier than a Jolteon, it is very deadly against Gyarados' and Vaporeon's. Being also a water type with HP, it can even withstand a HydroPump direct hit that would otherwise kill a full HP Jolteon with just one hit.
I love the graphic showing Golem knowing :"Mullet Punch"! Lol, I really wish that were a move, a Fighting-type move that's "business in the front, party in the back," :-D
Q&A: Have you ever approached the Bubble Strat in which players rise a Gym to level 10 in seconds? I would like to know more on how it works. Don't remember hearing you talk about this before... Keep up the good work. Cheers
Trainer Tips is more than a Pokémon Go channel- it's a daily high quality show with superb editing and really insightful information. To be honest, I think your vlogs and videos are some of the best edited on the entire platform. It's Casey Neistat level, from the transitions, to the scenery, to the dialogue, to the charismatic personality that makes this channel so good. It's amazing that everything is done daily, and the amount of effort put into every video is crazy. Thank you Trainer Tips for adding educational and entertaining content everyday, for Pokémon Go and for RUclips.
If you ever did strategy videos like this about the original pokemon games like red/blue/yellow or gold/crystal/silver you'd be my favorite youtuber ever
I did not know you sold merch. I'm going to buy from you! Keep it up, I love watching you grow! Wait...are you going to restock on the Trainer Tips pins? I never knew they were a thing, but theu sound so awesome! I'll add it to my Kanto gym badge collection. lol
Nick when you talked about water types the ground types list flashed up, then when you talked about ground the list for steel came up ! Just to let you know. Another fab video :)
Hey Nick Yesterday March 5th I took my family down to the Pike we really enjoyed the day. we were hoping to see u down there but we weren't disappointed and just wanted to thank you
It's nice that Scyther seems learn Bug and a Dark type charge move (Night Slash) because even thought the second doesn't benefit from STAB, they're both super effective against Psychic types, which is the type that would have you most likely looking for your Bug type Pokemon.
So if smeargle is dropped with sketch that does the same as the main series, would you recommend doing porygon2's best normal moveset or just the best moveset in the game?
Whoa! I'm a bit of a backpack collector but that thing is ridiculously massive and bulky for playing Pokemon Go. I carry my phone, a charger with cable, small earphones, a wallet and if it's warm, water. It all fits easy in a back sack and in the winter in my coat pockets. It's a sweet looking backpack and no doubt awesome for school or traveling but for Pokemon Go, not so much.
Hey Nick. Thanks for the quick post with the vid. Just wanted to message and let you know that you have some errors in the video with the water, ground and steel displaying on the screen. You might know by now but just wanted to let you know just in case. Keep up all the great work!
That day you were out filming, I finally was able to take a drive out to long Beach! I was low-key keeping an eye out to see u filming haha. But I didn't 😭. however, the pike for me was full of Dunsparces and I found Jynx near the aquarium!
Hey TTips I hope you see this since it's a weird post on an old video but do you think you could redo the spreadsheet of attacks with some updates? I have a high IV karate chop/stone edge machamp and I'm going to TM the stone edge to hopefully get dynamic punch or close combat and those combinations aren't on the spreadsheet since karate chop is only legacy and close combat and dynamic punch were not available when karate chop was. Love your content, thanks for all you do!
Excuse my ignorance, but, I would like to buy the Pokemon GO Plus accessory, but need to buy it from a reputable website, or the original manufacturer??
Hey Nick! Just wondering, is it just me or, at 12min, you got the Ground type movesets showing up while talking about Water type movesets? Don't get me wrong, I would bet this is a result of a little "too much on your head right now" and it went live. I've noticed your videos are getting better and better (in terms of video editing and vlogging) with each video you upload so this is probably just a small error hehe. In another topic, I would like to ask you about Unown! There is very little information of it on game and it seems as if it is the rarest pokemon ever. Shout out to you Nick. Best regards from Portugal!
Gamexplain has about 700,000 subscribers and has been on RUclips for years while Trainer Tips has about 600,000 subscribers and has been on RUclips for a few months. Congrats, Nick! Hope to see your channel grow even more!
Glasses glare isn't a problem, especially since the reflection is interesting skyline! The backpack is great! Did you notice you typed Mullet Punch 12:34 That would be an interesting move. Psychic type?
Hi nick I just wanted to ask you if buying nintendo switch is worth it or not?If not can you suggest something else in a price range of about 400$?Need help fast please. Thanks
i would love to hear you talk more about basketball! so refreshing to hear about a team other than the warriors and lakers (and the cavs, although i'm ohio till i die)
Hey Nick, How is Dynamic punch more DPS than close combat? According to Silph Road data Close Combat is both faster and deals more damage than Dynamic Punch. How did you calculate this data? Thanks :)
Nick. I love your work! Just a reminder! Some of us still play Pokemon Duel! And started because you played it! So seeing some pokemon duel once a week would be cool! I know it's a grind, but still!
Super helpful request for the community!!! Hey Nick, with the new TMs out, I'm sure that the new line-up has changed a little bit now that you can have mixed legacy and currently available moves. Any chance you'll make a new one? Also what would really help is if there was some way to differentiate between all the top attackers in terms of DPS. For example, I am fighting against a Rhydon; I understand my best bet is to use grass or water, but which would be the best DPS mon to use? BS/SB Eggs or WG/HP Starmie? Would be a really nice addition for your next video! Thanks
Yes, some of the sections showed the wrong type. No, I'm not going to reupload. Just listen to what I say, and ignore the graphics. I wasn't up late editing, Premiere was just being slow and annoying this morning, so I didn't catch the mistakes.
Trainer Tips daddy it's okay
Trainer Tips its all good nick, i feel the internet struggle 👍👍
Trainer Tips it's ok I will always continue to support the channel and I might even purchase one of those backpacks. I just wanted to let you know what I saw and after all, you are my favorite RUclipsr.
Trainer Tips but you made a mistake, and this is the internet.... prepare for the flood of 11yrs wanting to point out they are better than you.
It's ok Nick. I'm sick so can't keep my eyes open for long so it works for me!
Greetings from Germany and keep up the great work!
DonnaASMR Exactly what i wanted to say.
The research in this video or the drone shots in other videos is so great and also the music wich is combined perfectly with the Video... just awsome.
And also greetings from Germany

DonnaASMR I was looking for a recent upload by you and got side tracked by Nick. How ironic
I can just quote Donna and destiny right there💪 also greetings from Germany
I have the feeling I started something here in Nick's comment section with my usual ending phrase ;-D
However, couldn't agree more with DonnaASMR. btw: I just subscribed, interesting stuff, that ASMR-thingy.
And as always:
Greetings from Germany

Kawaii Hansine I'm sorry for your loss
Kawaii Hansine you still got it
Kawaii Hansine RIP
Lucky!!! I'd love that! :D
Kawaii Hansine don't worry a Flaafy glitched on me, then I got an error, then it despawned. Also don't have a Mareep yet
Lmao
4:06 "It's like a huge butt pocket"
that's hilarious
Eric H. Then he proceeded to jam a drone in there...
LOL the original design intent was for shoes or dirty laundry, but sure, drone butt pocket works also LOL
Louis Tsai Are you the one who designed it?
Yes :)
13:10 Not quite sure how Golem can use Mullet Punch seeing as he's bald...
KCBunne you misunderstood, he punches mullets, not uses his mullet to punch. Like brick break. Do you think they hit with their brick until it breaks?
David Marks yes
Trainer Tips is the Best Pokémon RUclips channel!!!!
Corey Turner No1 can compete
Pokemon go* since there are probably better youtubers who play other pokemon games but yeah imo best pkgo youtuber
Incineratinq I'm pretty sure everyone knew what I meant smart ass
not everyone, im a person too right?
Corey Turner sure
I think you messed up when you got to the water types it showed ground moves
caleb scott I noticed that to
caleb scott you think ?
caleb scott lol just saw that and was about to say something about it
caleb scott and when he was naming the ground types it said steel type on top and gave them the wrong moves (also he wrote mullet punch XD)
caleb scott also no Images
13:11 Golem with Mullet Punch😂
No lie, I noticed that one while editing, but decided to leave it. 😂
Trainer Tips It's all good, made for a good chuckle😂
Trainer Tips at least your honest.. and its cool that you read the coments, btw Hitmonchan is my dude!!
Team Mystic Haha I'm sure a few people said the same
Sick bag, if they offered a smaller version id definitely be interested but way too big for casual use imo
I literally clapped when I saw the holes for the charger cable on that dope backpack.
so hyped that I have a gengar with the best move set over 82% ivs
1. Wakes up
2. Opens Pokemon go
3. tyranitar on the nearby
4. Catches it at 3400 CP
Read it 2,3,4,1
Bestintros - what is 2341?
It looks like the order of events; read each bullet in the order 2, then 3, then 4, then 1.
k14michael he's saying he was dreaming
the time on his clock when he wakes up.
The max CP you can catch Tyranitar at is 3150
Nick I know you like helping out small companies.
Rush Cereal +
i think most players use electric types to often battle with Gyrados, so its better to use Magneton instead of Jolteon because it would last longer.
Nick, do your top 10 ingame best-looking pokémon! :)
Exuro He might as well do a top 10 Pokemon design of all time and not just Pokemon go
Exuro Are u a bandwagoner
I literally searched for this "best type pokemon" video for a very long time thanks :)
You can tell Nick is a Psych Major, he has a copy of Walden on his bookshelf.
and the Bhagvad Gita!
Probably one of my favorite books of all time.
oh and Socrates
+Trainer Tips lol when you started saying what stuff you can put into the bookbag, you reminded me of when in the cat in the hat movie he's saying what you can put into the cupcakeanator
best youtuber ever
+Trainer Tips a mistake happened in the video bro but it's okay, you are human and we all make mistakes. Don't pay attention to the rude comments, cause im sure those people have all made mistakes too.
Tangrowth is going to be a boss Pokémon for grass when its generation is released
HELP PLEASE :) if you had a 98% Gengar with Shadow Claw / Shadow Ball at around 1200 CP.. would you power it up? have some stardust left to spend
Thank you, Nick! I was ignoring the not-full evolved Pokemon in my spreadsheet, so I didn't notice that Scyther now has the moveset with the highest Flying type DPS, and its CP is high for a not-full evolved Pokemon, the same as Crobat!
Guys, let's spam on *Boostedboard* twitter "promote Nick from TRNR Tips" :D
Slashplite g
Yea plz do it I would love to see nick on a boosted board. Think his video need a boosted board for Pokémon
I haven't ever enjoyed pokemon go videos, but for some reason I keep coming back to your channel and videos, so what ever you are doing, I like it and keep it up!

If you're seeing this then have a great day and I hope you catch a wild Tyranitar! Coming from a small Pokémon Go RUclipsr :)

Lindsay Latimer same
I bet some people already pointed it out but After you talk about Water pokemon at 12:30, ground is displayed. And when your talking about ground pokemon is displayed as "Steel" instead of ground. Love your channel~ keep it going.
Trainer Tips, I just caught a 1001CP Ursaring at a restaurant! My first one too!
Nick, I posted a comment on a previous video asking about where you got those table legs with the plug ports but I don't think you saw it. If you would be so kind, could you share where you got those table legs? Was the entire desk a kit (except for the crate pallet) or did you just buy the legs separately from the surface?
I'm so close to a dragonite ugh can't believe I still don't have it
Tristan Villeneuve i have one
Tristan Villeneuve I've got 6 all in the wild. Never evolved one
Tristan Villeneuve 8km to go and I will have 1
Tristan Villeneuve bro im at level 31 and still i have only 21 candies of dratini 😂
Tristan Villeneuve I'm with you, I don't even have a Dratini yet or Lapras. The only Pokémon I still need from gen one other than the region exclusives.
I liked how you showed you catching the type of Pokémon that you were about to catch before you showed the move sets, even if some were wrong!
I go to the store for one minute and missed a 100% IV Slowpoke while my friend caught it FUCK
Righteous1 - haha...could have been a 100% SlowKing!

Grass: where' Meganium?
Avant- garde Meganium is kinda crap :/
@Trainer Tips (Nick) - really glad you managed to get this done as was waiting on this info... you may want to update your video though as you have the graphics of types wrong from water onwards (where you show ground), ground (you show steel... etc Still love your work...

13:20 I didn't know Golem had a mullet, but mullet punch seems like a pretty sweet move.
Meme
Haha
I love the graphic showing Golem knowing :"Mullet Punch"! Lol, I really wish that were a move, a Fighting-type move that's "business in the front, party in the back," :-D

something about the thumbnail of this video is highly satisfying
Hey Nick
Yesterday March 5th I took my family down to the Pike we really enjoyed the day. we were hoping to see u down there but we weren't disappointed and just wanted to thank you
Hey nick, how'd you get so many incubators? Did you guy them or is there a way or strategy to farm them faster through poke stops?
Nice 2 see Nick go around hunting during a info vid instead of sitting in his apartment
It's nice that Scyther seems learn Bug and a Dark type charge move (Night Slash) because even thought the second doesn't benefit from STAB, they're both super effective against Psychic types, which is the type that would have you most likely looking for your Bug type Pokemon.
Great videos Nick, you always make me more interested to play Pokemon GO and learning more things about them
God I fucking love your transitions especially the ones you shoot while editing.
Nick, just letting you know, at 12:30, you were mentioning Water type pokemon and rankings, but video displayed Ground type moves/rankings.
So if smeargle is dropped with sketch that does the same as the main series, would you recommend doing porygon2's best normal moveset or just the best moveset in the game?

Hey Nick. Thanks for the quick post with the vid. Just wanted to message and let you know that you have some errors in the video with the water, ground and steel displaying on the screen. You might know by now but just wanted to let you know just in case. Keep up all the great work!
thank you nick for making it intresting & not just sitting in that room
Love your honesty, Nick. Goes a long way.
Seeing your backpack "promotion" I really want to buy the waffles you're eating!
12:50 Did anyone else notice that while Nick listed the Best Water-Type Attackers, it showed the best Ground-Type attackers?
that backpack looks dope. nick you are not a sell out. this is awesome stuff. enjoying every video.
dude,i love the style you wear!!SICK thrasher hoodie!

Honestly nick, you make some great content, but to me it seems like this is your best video, and guide up till this date!!!
God, why are you the realest youtuber? MoreAlia should take notes
that backpack Is bad ass I would love to get my hands on one. keep up the good work on the videos man love the content.
Excuse my ignorance, but, I would like to buy the Pokemon GO Plus accessory, but need to buy it from a reputable website, or the original manufacturer??
Hey Nick this is the earliest I have ever started watching one of your videos been up for jus5 about a minute

Best regards from Portugal!
Yes! Thank you Nick I've been waiting on this!!!👍
OMG! When my Scizor had Fury Cutter and X-Scissor I was really disappointed because I thought it was trashy. At least it's still somewhat usable.
Gamexplain has about 700,000 subscribers and has been on RUclips for years while Trainer Tips has about 600,000 subscribers and has been on RUclips for a few months. Congrats, Nick! Hope to see your channel grow even more!
Excuse my small mistake. Trainer Tips has been on RUclips for about a year. :P
Glasses glare isn't a problem, especially since the reflection is interesting skyline!
The backpack is great!
Did you notice you typed Mullet Punch 12:34
That would be an interesting move. Psychic type?
Your doing a great job😀I find your videos very informative and creative keep them coming!
Hey Nick,
How is Dynamic punch more DPS than close combat? According to Silph Road data Close Combat is both faster and deals more damage than Dynamic Punch.
How did you calculate this data? Thanks :)
Yo that backpack is sick! Not even just for pokemon go but in general
13:15 Well now, that's a strange move on Golem. "Mullet punch". That's a legacy move from the 80s.
That backpack looks awesome. I backed the campaign. I need a new backpack for work and Pokémon shenanigans anyway.
wow that transition for the side note from the laptop screen was fucking fantastic
Nick. I love your work! Just a reminder! Some of us still play Pokemon Duel! And started because you played it! So seeing some pokemon duel once a week would be cool! I know it's a grind, but still!
13:20 "Mullet Punch" lol. It's all good though.
Thanks
