The oompa oompa drum beat might be my favorite thing about Goregrind, next to some of the tracks being hilariously short. There's something weirdly endearing about an album with 20 tracks being less than 10 minutes in full hahahaha.(looking at you, Last Days of Humanity). Such a weird genre. This was hilarious, I was crying throughout that entire music video.
@@lily13337 Haha thats actually a really good observation, didn't notice myself. That explains why german Grindcore/Fun Metal band Excrementory Grindfuckers filled the rest of their 2007 album with random fart noises hacked up in 5 sec snippets, just to get to 99 songs on that record. :D A truly sophisticated culture indeed.
@@ashley_the_dude_likerslam is slamming and is mostly composed of groovy riffs and groovy drums, goregrind is very fast with much less groove. slam is a death metal subgenre, goregrind is a grindcore subgenre. what he created here is more similar to slam than goregrind, considering that goregrind is much older and actually sounds much much different.
This video has helped alot honestly! For me it just seems like fun making and if its shit (probably going to be) im going to make sure im having fun with it
This video is presented as a reductive view of how gore grind is made but actually this is literally just how goregrind (and slam) is made 🤣 Honestly that little gate effect sounded awesome. I love this, haha.
blast beats are what Grindcore's all about, i listen to Goregrind as well but "generic" , no thanks, i love it as underground, non commercial, non technical as it can be. the more brutal the better. for Goregrind i prefer ldoh, Neuro-visceral Exhumation, Gruesome Stuff Relish and pig squeals suck ass.
This some very exotic thing called "Drop D". :D I also restrain from usind more than the lowest 3 strings. For these youtube songs I don't write them down at all, for more complex projects I use Guitar Pro 7, like everyone else haha. Just cooking with water over here.
My Inspiration was mainly VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC, and they sound pretty clean. Xysma is an interesting case though, thanks for pointing that out. That was a nasty sounding record, but hey, guess that was state of the art back in '89. Funny how they switched their style completely to old people rock music lol.
Oompa oompa drum beat, pig/animal noises, not going past the 4th fret, terrible production, and dirty humor and there ya go, every goregrind/pornogrind song ever lol
The ski mask and the cargo shorts make you look like every groovy goregrind lead singer you’d see at Obscene Extreme I’m literally dying right now 💀
Mincegore too I’ve seen way too many mincegore bands with ski masks
@@asherhorror5771That's just the mincecore Feng shuei

It‘s beyond my understanding how this series doesn‘t have like 300k views on each video. Could watch that stuff all day.
Bull sh.. this post is fairly lame.
@@grindfreakmike5754 yeah, like your opinions or what?
Just makes you realize how niche slam and goregrind are
0/10 didn't pitch shift the vocals
You really smashed this sub genre. The video at the end is a true work of art. The song would make a decent 7".
This is like slam death metal not really goregrind
A lot of modern goregrind is made by people in the slam scene lol, so it makes sense it'd all transfer
@Chronicleakage-ik5wgDon't forget brutal death is in there too
If you don't mind me asking, what's the difference

If goregrind had these type of music videos It would be the best genre ever ngl
How dare you say goregrind is generic and tasteless and be absolutely right
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
i wouldnt say generic

It aint rocket science. ;)
I adore this series! Would love to see a generic prog metal or generic metalcore sometime!
You earned a sub for the music video alone. That was amazing

He is definitely enjoying it. That’s the secret about goregrind. 🤣🤣🤣
Is it wrong for me to love goregrind? And this video?
Go pray 5 ave marias and 10 Lords prayers and you will be finde, my son.
WOW. It sounds so SBDM on 1.25x. Wooooow. I even forgot i had speed pitch turned on.
Legend status
Nice video , nice guitar sound
this is hilarious dude, good stuff
Goregrind, the worst genre and that’s why I love it
Now do some last days of humanity type gore noise! 🧠
You forgot about pitch shifted growling
The Goregrind bands I know are all very proud of not using any pitch shifting so I assumed it's kinda forbidden.^^
@@Bosmek most of the old school bands use pitch shifting
An exception to that is bands like carcass or napalm death
