My Dad surprised me when I was 8 with Monday Night Raw tickets in Minneapolis. Mike Tyson was the guest general manager and DX was still killing it. It was awesome.
Okay it’s one thing to get to go to wwe show but you got to go to one of the greatest mania’s that ever happened if not the very best to this day lol. What the heck lol
I went to high school with O'Shea, who was a few years older than me. I remember he would carry a WWE title on his shoulder around school from time to time 😂. He was one of the more well-known kids, and his confidence showed me that I shouldn't be afraid to express being a wrestling fan as well !
Ice Cube is like a big brother to his son so cool. I thought he was taking O'Shea to a wrestling event in SoCal. But the story he describes is incredible.
@@realfiend9186no it’s not. Kayfabe in pro wrestling is the portrayal of the competition, rivalries, and relationships between wrestlers as "real" & “true” & not showbiz. “Kayfabe” is a code word for maintaining this "reality" within the direct or indirect presence of the general public. a Gimmick is the wrestler's persona, character, behaviour, attire, and/or other distinguishing traits while performing in or out of the ring that is created to draw fans & make $$. Cube said, “what’s the word for being in character all the time?” -That is Kayfabe
You can tell Cube raised his son to be a good person. You don’t get any of those typical “my daddy is ______” vibes from O’Shea Jr. that you get from most kids with famous parents.
Ice Cube said himself that his kids never have to move out or get a job because that's the entire reason he worked so hard to be rich anyways. He said he lowkey never wants them to leave😂
@@joe.limbusexactly. And a good amount of families don’t believe in kicking their kids out when they turn 18 anyways, regardless of how much money they have. You ever see an Italian family kicking their kids out?
Wrestling and Rap was the best thing to happen to a ghetto kid like me. I’m happy to see more rappers open about their love for wrestling.
And video games
On god!!!
They go hand in hand.
Me too!!
Factual.
My dad took me to WM 17 unexpectedly in the Astrodome That’s a childhood memory I’ll keep forever. I know his son will cherish that forever

Ok lol when u said the Astrodome I knew it was on lol

I love how when Cube talks about his son's passion his energy picks up during this interview. He goes from a 6 to a 10 with his excitement.
Because it’s cool to just be you. That’s one thing Cube has always stood for! 💯

I wanted cable so bad just to watch rap music videos & wrestling back in the days.
Nurture your kids in the things they are passionate about, regardless of if its your thing or not. Great things can happen if you do.
