I'd be interested in knowing how the guitar was mic'd and/or picked up and what effects, EQ, dynamics, etc. were used in the signal chain. Obviously the guitar has a beautiful voice and whatever embellishments used were done tastefully... just curious. thnx
I added a hall reverb and a very small amount of compression. I didn't need to add any EQ. The guitar has a very rich, warm sound. I used a matching pair of Neumann KM 184 mics through a Apogee Duet preamp into my laptop.
@@JeffPetersonGuitar No wonder... gear worthy of capturing such an iconic axe. Very nicely done... keep up the good work, and thanks for getting back to me.
Great job friend…. I’m envious 😢
Wow! That was absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful sounding Martin. Great rendition Jeff!
What a wonderful talent.
Beautiful arrangement, beautifully played, on a fantastic guitar!
Great arrangement, and that Martin sounds killer!
Superb !
No words! 🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Just sublime. That tone is superb, and the artificial harmonics are the real killer.
That martin tone is all you need.....congrats
Jeff, is that your arrangement? It's the best I've heard on RUclips.
Sweet - may I ask what is the tuning? It looks like open G?
