Great video Ap, over the past year ive found your channel one of the more entertaining on youtube and i love it! Cant wait for some more SICK content!!!
Peric, I take me family walking around this lake all the time. We live just up the street. My son and I love watching your videos as well as the rest of the googan squad. It's neat to see you fishing some local waters.
I've never been able to catch anything on the cheap imitations. Yamamoto senkos are the only worm I have EVER caught fish on. Fish just don't like my other cheap ones I guess.
Me and one of my friends did a similar challenge. I caught 12 bass in 2 hours of fishing verse his 3 bass with me using the gary and him using the gander senko. That was the biggest difference in numbers that we have seen between the two brands. The other times when we use them and fish it is usally just a couple more bass that the garys catch then the ganders. Its up to you, are you willing to pay that little bit more to catch more fish.
Bitter's bait and tackle make an excellent Senko copy. I've won big bass on it on Kissimmee and had plenty of kickers come from them. Junebug, green pumpkin, and baby bass.
Awesome video man i like these type of bait challenges especially cause you are local (to me) i am also from the chicago burbs ao the i can use alot of your techniques too
You should do more videos like this to prove that spending a bunch of money on the expensive stuff isn't worth it when you can catch them on the cheap stuff
Cheap 3 dollar strike king from Walmart in watermelon color for the win. Have caught hundred of bass on these. I'll buy senkos in a pinch but you can get 2 or 3 packs of them for the price of 1 pack of senkos.
right Il stick to my cheap senkos that do exactly what those 8-9$ ones do I mean they wouldn't make a product If it don't catch fish and so far I can pull some nice fish with the strike king or zooms any of those cheaper brands
I have been playing with this same challenge the past few years for some reason in the spring I dont think it matters but in summer I use off brand(Big bite baits) then switch back to Garys in fall
I've found this between using different senkos. they all work but yamamoto's sink the fastest but I have noticed the sometimes the slower it sinks the better.
As for the answer of which is better, i really don’t think either took the reigns. He had more hook ups and larger catches but it could have just been placement. Both senkos were stickin fish pretty solid.
I personally use yum dingers and bass pro stik-o because they are cheaper and you get more in a pack. I have caught many fish on those and that's all I use. The Yamamoto senko is probably better but I don't see spending 8 bucks on baits unless you are tournament fishing
AP BASSIN AND SAM U TWO SHOULD DO WAY MORE OF THE EXPENSIVE VS CHEAPER BAITS PLUS IF U DO SENKOS AGAIN PICK THE NORMAL CABELAS ONE BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY CHEEP AND LARGER QUANTITY
Peric I use the Bass Pro-Shop version of a Senko you can get a bag of 50 for $18.00 its so worth it. I don't have anything against the yammys just to expensive .....awesome vid bud loved it bro ..... #APBassin
Should've used the Classic ZOOM senkos and Gary's $4 for a pack of like 10. You also could have done the big Bites Bates $2 senkos vs ZOOM vs Garyamamotos.
Still a fishing noob to baitcasters but I kinda have to agree with the Shimano thing. Had a friend going nuts over a Shimano reel the other day in the store and I was sitting there with a Lews that was $10 less and had more bearings, better gear ratio for our use and feel but he wouldn't put the Shimano down for the fact it was Shimano.
Old video and comment I know, but the fall rate of the Senko is by far the best of any stick bait. There's a reason these guys are calling everything a Senko. Gary makes the Senko, the others are just knockoffs. If they didn't work, no one would pay the difference.
Do a challenge where you and someone go to a ultra clear lake and one person uses flouro and the other uses braid to see if it really matters.
Do it!
Great idea
Jaxon Nankivel yes
Trust me, in clear water it matters. But the diameter of the line plays a big deal too.
Do it please
Yum dingers are cheaper haha
yeah and you don't seem to lose them as much
i don't bother with gary yamamoto senkos because i stick with the, cheaper and equally as effective, yum dingers
Those are my go to senkos
and work well...dingers...or bass pro stick-o's -grest also
Great video Ap, over the past year ive found your channel one of the more entertaining on youtube and i love it! Cant wait for some more SICK content!!!
Legit think Sam is one of the best "frequent" guests on your channel!! Love the vids with him. You can tell you two just have so much fun together.
There should be a whole googan squad version, yanmoto vs strike king vs yum vs bps vs what am I forgetting. Like if you agree
M&M Outdoors You're missing zoom.
does zoom even have a senko
not that many googans, nights have to get some of their non googan friends. Plz respond ap of you see this.
Bring back 1 rod, bring in Scott martin, and the guy ap went to Alaska with.
Gambler Ace. Durable AF and they absolutely reek of garlic plus they're like 10 per bag.
And peric was never invited to yamamoto ranch again...
The yum dinger at Walmart seems to work the best for me.
time 2 fish idk I feel that the sink rate is way too slow on those
They r pretty fast
First thing i did when I seen the vid was comment yum dinger I love them cheap and work just like a Gary
I totally agree that is like the only senko I ever use
Yup YUM Cranberry dinger is the best
Peric, I take me family walking around this lake all the time. We live just up the street. My son and I love watching your videos as well as the rest of the googan squad. It's neat to see you fishing some local waters.
I've never been able to catch anything on the cheap imitations. Yamamoto senkos are the only worm I have EVER caught fish on. Fish just don't like my other cheap ones I guess.
Ap ive been subscribed for a while and i just wanted to say keep up the great work👌
Vid ideas: Do a Road to 10+ bass series and if u dont get one this year to a season 2.... just a thought...
Sam is hands down my favorite non-RUclipsr!
Yum Dingers are the best alternative to Gary Yamamota senkos
Nice to see you bass fishing again
It's funny how ap gets pissed when he loses one but when someone else loses one he cracks up laughing
Bitter's bait and tackle make an excellent Senko copy. I've won big bass on it on Kissimmee and had plenty of kickers come from them. Junebug, green pumpkin, and baby bass.
Awesome video man i like these type of bait challenges especially cause you are local (to me) i am also from the chicago burbs ao the i can use alot of your techniques too
Classic peric " o my god oh my gosh "😂
Who else is coming back to ap's videos for nostalgia
"works by some sporting goods store" Cabelas! lol
Hey Alex, personally i think the cheaper one work just as good. Good video Dude!
Almost to 300k man early Congrats
You should do more videos like this to prove that spending a bunch of money on the expensive stuff isn't worth it when you can catch them on the cheap stuff
Lol, 7:39 that's what she said. Lol!! Could you do a $25 fishing challenge? Love your videos
I love the older type videos like this
I really like to use the Scheels Outfitters brand of senkos i think they are tougher and about the same when it comes to softness
You need to come back to Texas! Go to waxahachie and fish the rock Correy behind Best Buy. We have major giant brem and bass!
Peric, you and the rest of the googan squad should make your own senkos and sell them
SENKO 🔥 Always a clutch bait!
Who else likes yum dingers better?
I Caught a 4 pounder on a yum dinger
i fish alot of the affordable YUM! stuff, works great for less!
Me
There just as good if not better then Gary's but yum dingers are cheaper
Fishers fishing yum is my go to plastic
bass pro stik-os are awesome ...price v.s action
Senko challenge and no O-rings? Yup, that's Peric.
Lol there are tons of baits on the market that dont catch fish
Yes I love the strike king senkos that's my go to plastic worm
Should've done Gary's vs Yum Dingers, but I've been absolutely crushing them on junebug and baby bass Gary's lately
I have been playing with this same challenge the past few years for some reason in the spring I dont think it matters but in summer I use off brand(Big bite baits) then switch back to Garys in fall
AP is the new FLARE
When you run out of ideas for videos😂😂 great vid btw
Gary makes the best senko. hands down, worth the extra money.
Great video as always. In my Opinion the Gary yamamoto's are worth the extra money
Do a braid vs flouro in stained water and see if it matters.
Your my favorite youtuber keep up the good work
Ap fix your bottom eye on the rod your killing me bud!!!
BigMacBass Mcguire thanks dude that you told it!
It is awfull looking a rod being with a bending ring!
how the hell did it get like that ?
Its suppost to be like that
I don't think it really matters
It's made my favorite it's a trash rod what do you expect
Peric as far as u know will the googan squad get a new member do a q&a like so he can see
Awesome challenge! Kinda shows that you can Cathy on cheap and expensive
The Apbassin rods are at a great price right now if you havnt got one yet I would do soon.
Ap: I'm gonna catch a 10 pounder
Squad: just go do a senko challenge.
What is the best rod for wacky rig fishing? I have a medium light that I don't like fishing wacky on but I love it on my 7ft medium
Bass pro shops stick-o are the way to go. Regular price is six dollars for 16 of them but usually they run a sale around $4.50 for 16
@apbassing What kind of mic/recorder do you use for your audio? Thanks.
HELL YEA BRO AP CLUTCH
you should do a scented and unscented lures to see which works better
You should do a hook comparison video like mustad verse Trokar to see if you keep more fish pegged with one brand
I like the bait versus bait video you should do more
Awesome vid AP. Should have done the yum dingers though if you want truly cheap senkos. $2.50 for like 9
I always use yum dingers with a 4 oz gomakatsu hook and it slays bass in new york
These guys are catching bass like it's easy... I've only caught one bass ever😂😂😂😂
I've found this between using different senkos. they all work but yamamoto's sink the fastest but I have noticed the sometimes the slower it sinks the better.
Damnn this reminds me of robs channel when he first started it and all he ever did was try different senkos with the underwater videos in his pool lol
Your the best bro keep it up 💯✔️🤘🏼
the big bite baits stick bait is the king of value
Senkos for deep or choppy water, Yum Dingers for calm or shallow waters.
Big bass bites has a great stick bait and they are usually half if not less than that of what senkos cost
Such a bad ass reel!!!
"What is that thing?", says Peric. lol.
What kind of hooks are you using and do you use weights?
OH CHINA MAN IS BACK !!!!
Peric I love you rod you made
Great Video loved it.
The chep Senko we use in shallow water so they don't fall as fast and the Garry Senko we only use in deep water
for the bass pro shop senko work's a little better then Gary Yamamoto senkos awesome video
Always wanted to see this
More fisherman skill than the bait!
What rod did you use today for spin casting?
it was good to see Sam again.
"They do not want my senko here"
Gets a bite.
I love your vidoes man love them like. LOVE nethhen:)❤️
nice vid bro do more!!!🙏🙏🙏
What size hook do you use when you wacky rig a senko?
What kind of spinning rod/reel set up are you using here bud
What does everyone recommend on the action of a senko rod ?
AP BASSIN AND SAM U TWO SHOULD DO WAY MORE OF THE EXPENSIVE VS CHEAPER BAITS PLUS IF U DO SENKOS AGAIN PICK THE NORMAL CABELAS ONE BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY CHEEP AND LARGER QUANTITY
Peric I use the Bass Pro-Shop version of a Senko you can get a bag of 50 for $18.00 its so worth it. I don't have anything against the yammys just to expensive .....awesome vid bud loved it bro .....
#APBassin
You and the rest of the googans need to do more fly fishing please y'all only have a few vids of it thanks #riping lip in missisip 💯💯💯
Gary Yamamoto doesn't make his own soft plastics. He re-packages his favorites.
My new idea is white senko by strike king
I been waitin on a video like this. I rarely use senkos bc I dont want to spend a grip on Gary's senkos and didnt know if the cheap ones are worth it
Kenny Willis yum dingers are straight up best for the cost and how well they work. In canada its $3.50 for a pack of 8
Gary’s senkos are like 4.98 in Virginia Beach, come fish here dude it’s a good time
Should've used the Classic ZOOM senkos and Gary's $4 for a pack of like 10. You also could have done the big Bites Bates $2 senkos vs ZOOM vs Garyamamotos.
What app did he use to decide who got what senko
CHALINGGGGGGGGGG
BPS stick-o work just as well and you can get 30 of them for $10
youre a funny guy AP . Great content love the dream you all inspire many . thanks. yall should add more weed in your vijyas.
How do you keep the senko from spinning slowly as you retrieve wacky ??
There is nothing better than Yum Dingers. 2.99 for an 8 pack. You can't beat that. I've caught more bass on them thsn anything else.
The reason why some baits are more expensive then others is because you are paying for the name

This is the ap basin I love great video
Bass peo senkos work well also wacky rigged but AP what is the cheaper brand called?
