If I were 10 or 15 years old again I would be sooo much in heaven receiving these boxes... You could start a small museum with everything you have acquired so far. Any ideas of starting one? 😊
ToySoldierNostaglia if you wish to collect rare Matchbox items would also recommend their late '60's Motorway set or the Superfast track sets. Owned both as a young child. Both normally found on Ebay, the motorway set rare in good condition though. Certainly worth a consideration.
@@topcat4759 I have some Superfast Trax and will get a lot more. Want to compare them more to the new ones from Hot Wheels that I bought for my son. Been looking at the Motorway sets on Ebay and they seem realy cool. So maybe on day.
I had the port set . I still have the plastic train and the mobile container crane . But would love to get whole sets again. I also have the superkings slue crane and cordless drill to operate the crane
I had the container port set - I live not far from Felixstowe, and they had the ship to shore cranes and the Valmet straddle carriers (now replaced by R.T.G.'s, or Rubber Tyred Gantries, also known as 'Trannies'.) Thanks for this, it brought back a lot of happy memories. I was hoping that the last set was going to be the Matchbox Rocket Attack set, with the V1 launch site. (1979). That was my favourite one of all.
If I could find the V1 launch playset I probably couldn´t afford it. I know it was kinda an anti climax at the end. Imagine being a bit disapointed over an Airfix Combat pack lol I will do a video on both the Matchbox playsets in the future. I also have the 1/32 Matchbox toy soldier playset.
@@toysoldiernostalgia I was a bit too old for it when it came out - I was 16, and loved making 1/76 military models - Airfix, Matchbox, Italaeri, Hasegawa - they were all good - but my dad saw it in a shop, and knew that I was fascinated by the 'V' weapons, and bought it for me. I wasn't interested in it as a toy, as I painted the 'Doodlebugs', ramp, and barn - which was a nice model - and they were installed into a diorama that my friend built on a long wallpapering table. Wish I still had it, now. 🙁🙁🙁
I very nearly got my hands the elusive and extremely rare rocket attack play set. I paid around £600 for it, only to find out it wasn’t a full set! It got sent back! I’ll just have to wait another life time for the next one to turn up!
Sorry do not mean to be rude my friend, l have been a subscriber ever since you started your channel, but all the stuff you buy are not cheap how do you afford all this ?????
I don`t spend money on much else. Some months I buy a bit to much and the following few I have to be a bit more careful with other spending. To tell you the truth though I like smaller items better then the big ones like the playsets. You can get more toys for the same amount of money and a bigger variety. So I think for 2023 I`m gonna focus on smaller items and more variety.
Congratulations reliving your childhood have lots of fun
Thanks. I will do my best 😀
And that is why collectors are happy people-any day boxes appear is like one's birthday and Christmas all rolled in one
moment.
Nice to know it's not just me. Only problem is Royal Mail and my credit card company are not so keen. Just need a larger house!
As with your other videos, love your enthusiasm, and unbridled joy
Thanks dude.
Wow ,😊,the container port took me back to when i was 12,am now 54,thanku😊
You`re welcome. I wish I had one of the Matchbox playsets as a kid.
That’s almost brand-new. What a good find. ☺️😊
I had the fork lift. I never remember the forks as spring loaded. They just glide as far as I remember. Extremely cool set. Congrats!
You`re probably right. I think I`m thinking of the Lego forklift. Thanks.

Excellent once again !! Happy new year, greetings from Greece !💯
Beautiful stuff. Thank you.
Thanks for watching. I`m working on a video on the full Seakings collection.
"Sir, the desert combat pack reinforcements have arrived!" Thanks for the looks, neat stuff 🙂
Cool new sets!
Yup super cool!
Great collection. Never seen that goods yard set before even though I have many Matchbox catalogues going back to 1969 including USA editions.
I only have a few Matchbox catalouges so haven`t seen it either. Need more catalouges though because they are a lot of fun.
