I think these are still such great activities. I have fond memories of making make and bake christmas ornaments with my grandma one year. These turned out so cute ! ♡
Hi Chris! I'm heading to your channel next. They turned out nice. I used to make them with my kids but haven't thought about them in a long time. It was fun to watch you all have fun with them.
That's the best! We should've included that distinctive melted plastic smell in our podcast episode called What Did the 80s Smell Like?! Also, you clearly have a great mom! Thanks for stopping by our channel and sharing your memories!
Wow, I’ve been looking for these on and off for a few years now and could never find them. I’m gonna have to check JoAnn’s again. I loved these! Maybe painting suncatchers is more fun, but these look much nicer.
Awwww they turned out super cute!! Keith, great job for a first -timer!!! I just told Michaela we need to go and get some and she gave me the stink-eye! I am glad you made them - how fun!
Chris! So fun that Chris was there to hang out and craft with you Abby! I'm with Keith, never did those, I think they were past the time/age I would have done things like that. I've seen them though, and remember them. Fun video! Have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚
Hi there and thanks for the content. I think you’ve got a winning concept going and I’ll stay tuned. I’m doing some Christmas theme makeit and bakeits with my kids tonight. Should be a blast! Are you guys located in MN? I see Chris has a MN cap on. We are from Shakopee. Thanks again!
Thanks! Nice to meet you Jeff! I hope you and your kids have fun crafting tonight. Our friend Chris is originally from Minnesota, and we actually live in Kansas.
As a summer daycare kid we spent many an afternoon making these. Haven't seen one in forever but it would be fun to give it a try again! They turned out awesome too, love the taco!
Way cool, you guys! I am really impressed with all your steady nerves and hands. Keith had the best concentration face🤨🤨🤨 And, way to go, Chris! You guys were true champions to face against Miss Crafty, herself.
Who remembers these from their childhood?!
How fun!! Those turned out great and the improvisation ones too. I liked them all. Cute!!
Thanks Wendi! It was a fun day with Chris, and the guys were good sports 😊

Cool, thanks for watching! I also saw them recently at Hobby Lobby in the kids' craft section. Happy crafting!!
@@Our80sLife Thanks, I’ve got one on the way. And thanks for sharing the nostalgia! :)
Those turned out great. Chris’ experiment looks awesome.

These are awesome, really awesome craft for the last days of summer break. They look amazing and the colors are so cool
Yes! They are cheap to buy and fun to make. They just require some patience with those teeny, tiny crystals, ha ha! Thanks for watching 😊
This is cool and fun!
Wow amazing job

Grew up in the 80's seen these, but never made them myself.
They’re still great! You’re never too old to try something new. 😊

i swear you guys are like little 8 year olds again on here! The suncatchers came out brilliant! 😍😹😸
Looks like a lot Fun 💖My childhood was in GDR (East Germany ) We had not so nice stuff :)
ha that's pretty neat. Don't ever remember doing those either.
This is so cute! Hope did you make the hole in the cookie cutter ones? Did you use a drill?
Heather Cash Art Thanks! Yes, we just used a small drill bit. Don’t push down too hard and let the bit do the work. Appreciate you stopping by!
I loved doing those as a kid. Oh and don't forget Shrinky Dinks!
Cool!!
Those turned out super cute!
I was in dollar tree today and thought of you, when I saw banana hair clips. 🤗👭❤
No way!! I haven't seen those things in decades! I'll have to look for them and see if I remember how to use them, lol! Thanks 😊
Fun times!
Thanks for playing along! I hope Kim enjoyed her handmade handicraft!
I would like to repair some of these made when I was a kid. Can they be reheated to melt back into the frames?
We have no idea, sorry. Let us know if you try it.
@@Our80sLife When I was doing some the other day, I noticed some holes so I added a few more crystals and put it back in the oven and it worked fine.
Anyone use a silicone baking mat instead of foil? Seems like the frame would stay put better and make a smoother backing.
We haven’t tried that, but it seems like a good theory!
Just letting everyone know that Hobby Lobby has these kits for a great price, three times cheaper than on Amazon.
Cool, thanks for that tip!
I just paid $7 for one at hobby lobby!! It was 40% off
