I'm a musician. But first and foremost, I'm just a lover of music. The thing I love most about Rancid, and a lot of punk in general, is how much information and emotion can get packed into such a short song. Both musically, and lyrically. It's like eating a tiny snack, but feeling as full and satisfied as if you had 5 course meal. It's awesome.

So glad I found this. Got this album for my 10th birthday in 1995 and haven't stopped listening to and loving it since. Matt, you're a musical phenomenon, and I'm so happy you had the wherewithal to do these videos. To see the master at work is something I would've wished for but never expected.

This is the Favorite of All TIME Matt Freeman. I am short of words this week my friends. But know that when i have some. I will send many. You are good man. I bought some guitar picks the other day and i played some Rancid on my acoustic. And i start with the bass lines, and then i figure out the guitar chords as a slideable F, and A major. :) B sometimes. Slidable ones. Anyways its all very nice for me. :) and i love the reminders.
I watch Left Alone live with Horrorpops. Very nice guys a lot like rancid which is why i liked them.
I do have a small piece of advise.
As you are an active content creator
and posting weekly.
and I use the desktop version of youtube not the mobile
And because you post once a week and i am following mainly news
your channel is bumped down the list by the following week, if you hadnt been on my mind i would almost miss it!
A blue marker appears next to you when you have updated something.
A visit to your page will bring you to the top.
It might be a good idea to drop the Short somewhere in the middle of the weekly. Like in 2 and a half days to 3 days time.
So that it may keep you up on the list for your supporters.
As a visit to the channel will keep you high on the lists :) It may not matter to you.
But it may be something to think about
