On January 15th, I was fortunate enough to experience my first opening day ceremony of a Scottish Salmon season on the mighty River Tay at Meikleour, joining Marina Gibson as she opened the beat with the first cast of the season, followed by two days in search of silver!

Really nice 10 minutes of why a majority can enjoy everything about fly-fishing for Salmon without its participation, I think!!
Thanks Roy! I would whole heartedly agree with you there. It’s not always about catching them as that’s a bonus. Being out on the water with pals and meeting new ones is what it’s all about for me!
