as items are converted to gold, quant is still bigger then rarity in that matter. The rarity here allows for more "useless" items to drop, same as quant, but quant should still give a significantly bettter boost to gold then rarity.
never in the history of the game has there been secret multipliers on anything your character can equip. Anything that can multiply is always shown, might be unclear what the exact values do but you know it multiplies something
Something useful to know is that all T0 uniques disenchant for 1mil+ dust, bloodseeker claw is 40c, with 20% weapon quality it disenchants for 1.5mil dust... considering 8k dust in a shipment is the softcap, one of these more or less sets you up for the entire league...
And one more info it seems like the dust does not affect currency return from shipments but only affects received rune or tattoo from other reddit testings and Im continue to test it more.

this is what I hate about POE1, and what I hope will be fixed in POE2. At the higher endgame, the game stops being an isometric view arpg, it becomes a gacha simulator where you are moving, clearing entire screens, hoping for that ting of a valuable drop and sometimes being instagibbed. No counterplay, no skill, just math and luck.
I did the most basic testing possible, ran two identical mirrored t16 maps one with 21% rarity the other one with 161% rarity. 21% rarity map was 6009 gold 161% rarity was 7810 gold. That's almost 20% more. It's worth mentioning that the 21% map also had a blight encounter I cleared and destructive play maven summoning two more bosses. And it was only a t16 in a t17 or a synthesis map that % adds up. Good to know thanks for the research king 👑
Atziri keys are the best gold farm in the game. Just run up to atziri then leave, her drops are worthless. Or just take the quant to triple rarity atlas node and sell scarabs for chaos. I've been running that node since the datamined drop conversion.

3.6k , 17.5k, 27.1k -105%, 0%, 219% certainly some variance included but it's crystal clear. now the question becomes, is meticulous appraiser worth it? even less stuff drops but it has super insane rarity values. i do wonder if it's actually a conversion, that any rares get turned into gold with a chance. however it's strange because rouge exiles drop tons of rares and they hardly ever drop gold.
Well GG is back at square one. They removed quant because they didn't want player to feel obliged to wear garbage quant uniques to get the most out of a map. Now we're equipping rarity to get more gold, which is now a synonym for potential wealth. It's one big experiment, and I kinda like it, but we wont't be equipping rarity next league for sure.
This may help but 60 to 80k from t17 vs 8 to 10k from a t16 is fucked up balance. T16s should be giving 20k to 30 and t17s 40-50. How the hell can I get to run mappers when i get 8-10k a map? and the drain is 20-30k an hour. That can barely be maintained while actively playing and sure won't run when away for work or a weekend camping trip
I don't like the fact, that miners and smelters are basically useless and just waste gold later on after upgrades. Miners should mine the ores passively similar to farmers and ore from maps should directly go to smelters.
That was a perfect showcase what T17 mapping feels like. No matter the build, you just keep chain dying and exp bar is stuck at 0%, but the drops are so good that even if you hate it, cant stop doing it for the insane profit gains. :P
One of the more annoying things is that some mechanics give 0 gold, pushing you away from them if you want to do league stuff. I also am feeling a serious lack of gold and ores if you are doing slower startegies. These filter out different mechanics, limiting viable mechanics, when everything should give gold and difficulty should scale gold and ores

Does energy blade work well with melee skills? Specifically with new buffs to "Attack Damage: #% of base" and "Attack Damage: #% of base". Personally I don't know if it synergises at all. Maybe it only works with lightning melee skills. Please correct me and clarify how these two mechanics work together
Gold vacuum is my solution. It drops, it goes in the bag automatically. I have a build that clears far and wide, and I spend 75% of the time in my maps just running back and forth to pick up the gold. Absolutely unfun
End game town consumes a loooooot of gold an hour, we're talking about 60-70 k an hour and you have to setup your town to play on autopilot for like 15 hours you have to grind a lot.
@@AlienDayStudio 2x Adversary, 1x Monstrous League, 1x DOmination, 1x Bloodlines. At some point Bloodlines become too expensive (like 70c) so I switched to 2x Domination and I still was getting around 30-35k per map and clearing maps was taking like ~3 min
The point of the DD mobs is to kill your character, which is why they weren't removed but instead added to all maps. The point of the mobs on T17 is to brick your characters. None of these things are designed with fun in mind and that's a problem that this game has had for quite a while.
I honestly believe there is zero connection between increased rarity and gold drop I ran 20 maps with 0 rarity gear and got in avg 20k per map,, i then ran 20 maps with 155 rarity and got in avg 20k per map. i then ran another 20 maps with 240 rarity and again... in avg 20k per map. i then increased it further up to 356% rarity from gear and guess what... 20k avg per map i refuse to believe that its just "bad luck" that 80 maps all give the same wherever you got 0, 155, 240 or 356 rarity. I also faintly remember that GGG did say in the live stream that there would be very little connection between rarity and gold

ehp is worthless to look at itself, especially that in some scenarios (like using block) its extremely inflated. Max hit is way better way to judge defensive potential but it also heavily depends on what settings in enemy stats tab you have. Same goes for spell suppress, it inflates max hits from ele heavily but it dosent work for every type of ele damage in game/some skills cant be suppressed. Obviously that dosent change the fact that DD is stupid.

bosses spawned by maven don't drop gold anything tht is not being present in map upon opening.

You might be able to make a pretty good warden gold farmer with using the unique tincture that gives you item rarity per mana burn.
DD does so much damage it kills Lance even through Divine Shrine.
