- We are already counting down to the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. We do that by looking back to recent editions of Europe's favorite TV show. We start with 2004, when the contest was held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Zeljko Joksimovic represented Serbia and Montenegro in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with the song 'Lane Moje'. He came in 2nd position in the grand final.

No, this is a rare gem from the dark ages of Eurovision. This is the early 2000s, so shortly after the introduction of the televote, and a lot of countries (such as the winner, Ukraine, in 2004) sent silly songs with lightly dressed women, thinking it would impress the masses.
Um... this is the year that Ruslana won with 'Wild Dances'. While that is actually quite a good song, the fact that both Ruslana and her dancers were all extremely good looking, with very long hair, and not too many clothes, certainly helped to clinch victory.

Ruslana Wild Dances is my all time favourite of all songs in Eurovision and is considered one of the most iconic Eurovision songs. It's just a sad coincidence they competed the same year. Two amazing, iconic and beautiful songs that continues to be iconic year after year

The music, song and his voice are terrifically great. But it didn't win the Eurosong and as I remember it was disqualified because was copied. So it wasn't an original song. But that doesn't mean nothing at all. Because the way it was brought by this singer is just perfect. No more words. Realno ja sam veoma objektivan pa mi tako Srbija osim Marije nije bila mozda za pobedu,ali zaista sto i glasovi pokazuju smo jako blizu pobede bili tada,a da nema rata da smo uveli sankcije da niej situacija politicka sada takva kakva je i da nema ovog zirija da ukrajina nije ucestovala ove godine verujem da bi i po kladionici i svuda se bolje kotirali ove godine i da bismo pobedili i ove godine a mogli smo i 2004.godine mozda i 2008.godine ali tada smo bili domacini. Realno ni 2012.godine nismo bili za pobedu,ali komotno smo zasluzili i mogli ove godine pobediti i 2004 kao SCG. Ali iskreno smo uprkos onom kinetickom suncu uzasnoj organizaciji Italijana i sceni losoj koja nam nastuo unistila mogli ove godine da je drugacija politicka situacija da pobedimo bili smo drugaciji i u tom momentu 2004.godine ali i ovom trenutnku 2022.godine nesto skroz novo drugacije i sveze evropi i svetu ponudili. Siguran sam makar Konstrakta da ce uskoro probati kada ne bude politicki ovo kada rat bude gotov i ne budu glasovi iz sazakljenja publike cak i zirija i ukinu ziri da se vrati opet Konstrakta koja je opet sada kao i Zeljko poznato lice i ime na evrovziji svi su je zavoleli mahom i da ce pobediti,a mozda jos bolje da oboje probaju jos jednom za koju godinu i pobede,mozda i neki dueet zajednoo pa da pobedee?? Aahaha sto da nee xD
