I have had great luck with Premier1’s electronet. I use their 42” for sheep. It’s especially helpful as we have 5 sheep on about an acre and 1/2 and rotating smaller paddocks is key. T-posts on the corners with a pvc sleeve is also key, I believe you’ve mentioned this in other videos.
Great information as always Tim, thank you sir 🐑🐑🐑

Thanks Tim. How long will you leave that up? I love the driveable post. Same soil here. But, when the soil dries out it takes explosives to get'em out.

We have enough fencing to allow us to keep the fence up all season from May through October. This will really depend on you and what your plans are and the amount of fencing you have.

We use electronet, but our land is anything BUT level! You know those fibreglass/plastic step-in posts for normal hotwire fencing? Omg, those are AWESOME for both propping up the sags, but also anchoring that bottom string - just put the bottom string underneath the step part of the post, works brilliantly!
Goats play leapfrog to get over heights as tall as 6' - witnessed it! Idk what their appeal is, but I can't stand them, lol... Never understood my ex-husband's hate for them until I lost most of a summer wrangling a neighbor's constantly-escaping goats!

@@LinessaFarms anytime! I did notice when setting up fencing today, though, that not all these plastic step-in posts are the same... We have some that are from a different manufacturer, and the bottom string kept sliding up as I was stepping down... Those ones have a smooth, straight angle from the peg up to the end of the foot, whereas the white ones that we purchased a whole bunch of from Princess Auto actually have a hook underneath the front of the foot. So, if buying such posts to sturdy up electronet, look for the ones with the hook ;)

No compromise, only your personal thinking.... Would an energizer 14 kV, 16 Joule be harmful for baby goats ? and for adults ? Tnaks...

If he is losing his eyesight, he may be suffering from a thiamine deficiency. This would need to be corrected with high dose injectable vitamin B complex, specifically vitamin B1/thiamine.
