QB1 2023. unlike Stetson, this guy is not camera shy. This guy talked like hes been in the spot light forever. Hit like if you wanna see this young man perform in 2023.
from what i've heard, unlikely he's ever the starter at UGA. An inflated prospect due to the level of competition, just from reading the tea leaves i've seen elsewhere it sounds like he has not progressed as the coaching staff had hoped. Likely he stays to finish his degree and bounces after. I'll be happy to be wrong though.
I definitely wanted to see him get some reps in the season this year but I’m really pulling for him to be our starter for next season.
Can he deliver.
Idk his hs highlights shows a cannon arm, fast release, cockiness, & athleticism

This guy was the 2nd rated QB after Caleb Williams who’s obviously a star and on his 2nd school. Of course I hope he stays but, I would fully understand if he chooses to leave and would wish him nothing but the best. Go Dawgs!
He'd be wise to hang around and fight for the first squad position
This is his 3rd year in the system. He has a great chance to be the man next season.
Patience pays off. Discipline weighs ounces, regrets weigh tons. You will get your magical year at UGA to be the star and that will translate to first round draft pick. Keep developing and learning young man. Go Dawgs!

Just another reason GA has to find a way to keep Monken, make that man the highest paid coordinator in the NCAA and pray he stays
He's already the highest paid coordinator. He isn't going anywhere at the moment.

No idea how he won’t transfer if Beck wins the starting job. I’m not behind the scenes, but all we can do at this point is trust Monken and Smart to go with the best chance to win.

I think he has the best talent out of all the guys in the room that’s left but maybe that’s just me.

@@Gopherll gunner is hands down the most talented qb in that room let's not forget brock played 1a private school in Georgia any half way talented qb could dominate those kids I'm not saying he couldn't be great but gunner has a more consistent arm and he's mobile
@@truthhurts95 Gunner is best dual threat and overall QB, but Beck is a beast too. The little I have seen from Vandergriff wasn't incredibly impressive but I wouldn't be surprised if excels anywhere he goes.
@@Gopherll maybe after he signed but I’m talking about all season long I keep up & im pretty sure eveyone had it in this order: Stetson, Carson, Brock, & then gunner .. you can hear all the analysts put it that way, coach smart put it that way & it’s just kinda obvious.. I’m not saying I’m sleeping on him but maybe the world is .
Hang in Brock...you will be a great contributor next season! Do not give up. Stetson is no more...you are next. The Dawgs need you. Show them you are a true RPO.

@@calcobb442 People underestimate Carson's ability to run, he's done it a couple of times this season and has been effective. He's no Brock or Gunner when it comes to running, but he's a far superior passer than the other two. In Monkens offense, passing is the key. Brock has looked shaky when throwing the ball after two seasons. It's going to be Carson's team next season, without a doubt.

@@blakeeckel5056 gotta disagree with ya, I don’t think beck is a superior passer at all. It’s been reported by multiple analysts whom have watched their practices that Vandagriff overall looks the best in accuracy and arm strength even while on the run.

I saw nothing in this interview that make me think he is transferring actually the opposite.

May the best man win this competition. If Gunner or Carson do, I know Brock is leaving and I respect that decision.

No, because it never happened hahah! I did think UGA would have had a better shot vs. Bama in 2021 with JT -- and still think he would have played better last year. This year? IDK, Stet improved a lot!

Carson is a DUDE but I just feel Brock has the ceiling over him. I feel like he’s taking this real serious, and like Kirby said, mobility is important. I think Brock takes the job

Having reviewed the UGA schedule for next year there should be plenty of opportunities for all the guys in in the QB room to get to show what they can do in real game day situations

No way he is leaving, let them compete for the position and see how it turns out, best man wins. This is a team sport and tough conference to play in, starter could get hurt and the number two has to step up and be ready to play.

I am a Dawg fan, but I hate to see Brock’s eligibility waisted. If he doesn’t win the job this spring, I can certainly understand him transferring. This would be bad for us Dawg fans, but I could see him being the day-one starter at Auburn or most other SEC schools. Why should he wait another year wasting more eligibility?
Winning Natties is a strong inducement to stay put, for if he wins one when his time comes, he could be a top ten draftee.

A one and done year will get him into the first round if he plays well. Did you not watch the video wherein he said he is soaking up a treasure trove of knowledge under Monken? However, if any of them leave, we have excellent options waiting in the fold.

This does sound like he’s on the way out I’ll be honest. Sounds very much like he’s thankful for the lessons he learned at UGA and he will take those lessons to the next team. Pray he stays but that’s was my read on this interview.
Brock sounds like he's ready to get on with the 2023 reps and compete. A Georgia Bulldog QB has to have his head in the right place to win the QB spot. There's no doubt his is where it should be! His confidence tells you he'll be ready if and when he gets the call! Awesome interview!
Great interview, but 0:50 - three guys behind Brock's left shoulder (behind the camera lady in the sparkly silver jacket) get on the floor and do some weird yoga stretch stuff. I mean, what's up with that?

Playing time isn't given by seniority. It's given to those that appear as best able to preform and win. If you think you are as good or better than those in competition with you , players should stay. If you think your competition is better than you, you need to try and get better or go to a lesser school.
Brock’s a big kid, if Beck goes down his could be next. Gunner is nipping at both their heels and can’t be counted out. !

Carson Beck will be our starter next year, and Brock should have two great seasons with us. He is definitely a Champions Quarterback. I think we will see him play, but I think it will at another school. He was originally committed to OU. But schools like Alabama or Florida would love to have this guy now.
I sure am excited about this kid… I however have no idea how Kirby plans to handle this… we have what 2 5 ⭐️‘a and 2 4 ⭐️‘s in our QB room.
Hang in their Brock! One thing i do know for sure is , Nick Saban puts the best qb on the field to give him the best chance to win and he knows when to replace them when their not producing! He also doesnt let the alumni persuade him to start someone who doesnt have more talent than than the other person.He believes in playing quarterbacks and that. Includes black quarterbacks.race, doesnt have anything to do with it! But one of the best that played their briefly, i believe was Anthony Flan the man Flanigan out of southwest Atlanta high school

Not really. Stetson hasn't been injured and kept the QB 1 spot ever since he took over for JT Daniels.

It’s stinks they can’t all play, but Beck has the best arm talent and can run too. Not the runner Griff is, but best pure passer we have. Gunner will be the best of the bunch. Best runner, best alpha dog mentality, and best accuracy. Beck is further ahead in the system and has a cannon. Wish them all the best
Thus qb race will be wide open this off season. Don't think it belongs to beck. All 3 of these qbs will have a chance to take the starting job. I think brock or gunner have the most potential, but it'll come down to who can execute the entire play book.
I pray that Brock stays at UGA, a loyal Dawgs soldier, His say will come, likely to win a Natty perhaps as a one year starter healthy enough to enter the NFL with years of success.

As his dad is a Coach I could see him sticking around and knowing 1 season at UGA can get you top 10 QB drafted. And thus I could see Gunner taking the transfer window. I would be very comfortable with him and Beck going into next season with a possible Rialto coming to play as a redshirt sophomore 2 years from now
Brock seems like a pretty cool guy and really handled the media very well

Said he plans to graduate from UGA next fall -- that would take him through the 2023 season. Half-dozen P5 schools have reached out to Brock, he's at UGA because he wants to be -- and he explained all of that in this interview
