2019 TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout Winner, Yandro Ulloa’s 1996 SVT Cobra Mustang

Yandro Ulloa’s 1996 SVT Cobra Mustang won the TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout at the 25th Annual Nitto NMRA Spring Break Shootout in Bradenton, Florida, February 28 - March 3.
Ulloa’s street-driven “Minion” Cobra produces more than 1,500 horsepower and has run 7s in the quarter-mile, all while Ulloa rows the gears in his TREMEC Magnum manual transmission 6-speed.
In fact, Ulloa’s Chrome Yellow Snake is believed to be the quickest rear-wheel-drive vehicle with an H-pattern manual transmission. Not just a one-hit wonder, Ulloa has made dozens of passes in the 7s-his quickest was 7.67 at 184 mph.
