LYRICS:
I can’t remember what it feels like
Seems you should’ve known the rules
I think I’m never going to find my way
Slowly coming from the rear
I feel I’ve never had a thought so real
Time I found myself a quite place
Beg motherfucker
Beg motherfucker
Beg motherfucker
Beg
I poke the needles under your skin
Tastes like blasphemy and treason
No you’re never getting far away
See hope fading out of your eyes
This time the pain is going to feel unreal
I think you’re gonna be some easy prey
Beg motherfucker
Beg motherfucker
Beg motherfucker

Ahh this album is going to be dark and heavy. Those chugs man...
Finally! Been wanting since Karma and Effect
It’s gonna be a great record I can already tell
Angus Wells you talking about the guitar riffs or the woman’s boobs?
kevin waltz the last one was really heavy!
I agree with you
That chorus is like when you peel plastic off of a product and all of it comes off at once....Perfection
🤣🤣🤣 love the comparison
Beautiful chorus... n the guitar even better
Great analogy
@Dr. Loomis live a little. Thought it was pretty funny. Like the stoner analogy of the year lmao

Back when Shaun was still living in South Africa, everyone noticed how insanely talented he was. That's why he relocated his band to the United States. Not many "grunge metal" fans in South Africa.
I'm South African, true story. 🙌 always loved seether.

@@darrell3118 I was wondering if this was related to that at all. I hope it is, watch them beg!
@@xAustishx probably is. Shaun has shown serious empathy for what happens to the innocent on many occasions. The man has a daughter as well. Im sure this is highly intentional. I'd guess a lot of the band has kids. And this is one of the sickest things that happens by far.

Man, I'm loving these animated videos!! Part of me is hoping they end up as an overarching story together, but either way, they're awesome!!
We need a Seether animated film!
"If you want peace, prepare for WAR!" Love it! The animation with this really sets the tone for the song amazingly!

For anyone curious, the Latin at 2:51 translates to “If you want peace, prepare for war”
DougTheDog6 you used google translate
cj james And?
Isn’t that the name of the album?
I knew this from the 2004 Punisher movie. Oddly enough, there is a scene in that movie where Broken is being played on the radio. I wonder if that was a conscious decision by the band to name the album after a prominent quote from that movie?
Good looks
Such a badass storyline. I can't wait for the rest of this album to get here, I haven't ever been this stoked even about a Seether album before.
Wow Seether that's the way to shut up the whinging "not as heavy as they used to be brigade"......IMO wether Seether do heavy, melodic or soft they never fail to knock it out of the park!!!
Omg thank you!! Agree 100%
I agree. Also, to add to this context from my perspective, I prefer when a band/musician plays the style that they want and push out the art from within them rather than catapulting into the masses and giving them what they want. I’d rather hear something new than hear the same thing reproduced over and again.
@@ThePhillyfingers amen
I love this!!!!!
Absolutely. Pretty much every song has its own charm or awesomeness to it they've produced
I’ve listened to this song easily 200 times or more already. This band is a fucking blessing to this earth. I’ve loved them since I was a freshman in high school. My children’s children will listen to your music. Bless this entire band.
I hope I get to see you in concert in Tampa show October 2nd. Love your music and just recently started listening to you. Thanks for getting me through my rough times in life these past few years!!

don't agree. i mean i do agree with their earlier stuff being good, i haven't liked a seether song since Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray's fur cue, country song, tonight etc... i literally disliked every song off the last 2 albums, felt very fruity.. to be frank, felt like they were wanting the pit to dance instead of mosh. Fur cue was harder than almost anything on either of the last 2 albums and that album mostly had catchy radio songs.
amazingly good even after all this years... what a golden gem this band is my brothers and sisters!!!!!
Love it when the captive becomes the captor. Truly an amazing song and video! As usual.....seether does it again!!

My boys keep getting better and better. Theyve definitely rose above their post-grunge NU-Metal contemporaries and charted their own path. Proof they got staying power!
Congrats to Shaun and the boys for kick ass and possibly their best album to date.
284 kidnappers maybe
Personally I found the song to be kinda blah and dull for my liking
Not everyone gonna like the same thing
I like that every time a new seether album comes out, each song helps me cope with some part of my life. I like the way that the lyrics are written in a manner that they can be relatable for almost anyone who's going through some shit. I can't stop listening to this song since I found it today. There is no statement I've ever found more true to my life than the title of this album. Thank you for your music. My big takeway from this song.
Don't fuck around with the wrong person. Because one wrong move. And you're gonna suffer greatly.
Which the video hammers home well
The music video speaks a thousand words.... from a man breaking down a woman until the tables turn and she finally breaks him down. 💯
I already hear this song being played at top volume with my rage screaming throughout
I hope Shaun doesn't lose his voice playing this at tours.

Most bands find one sound and stick with it because it worked (disturbed, Shinedown, breaking Benjamin, etc.) But Seether changes their sound every single album. And it always sounds great.
I can’t agree. Disturbed and breaking Benjamin have all grown and have a style for each album, but it’s usually better. Seether does change their sound more, but I’d say it’s for worse. Haven’t got into their new stuff in a long time.
@@augustbaptiste9001 I mean I get it. Everybody has a different preference and I respect yours. I liked disturbed until their indestructible album and I noticed that they started to sound monotonous if that makes sense. My favorite band used to be Slipknot. But they sound like stonesour now and I hate it. I even have a tattoo for them. Seether is the only band that has been able to keep my attention in every single album. I like that they stick to their roots but manage to come at every album from a different angle.
SumYun Guy yea, it’s all preference, and I’ve been a breaking Benjamin fan for a long time and like all of their stuff, so I’m guessing Seether is the same for you. But disturbed, I don’t listen to them anymore.
How can you add shinedown into that? Saliva...yes for sure. Shinedown? They are far from repetitive
Robby Speegle just boring, correct
Finally some good heavy music that is not down-tuned 7 string guitars and an awesome music video!
listen to Orbit Culture, they have a amazing tone and nice growls if you like, sounds like Gojira and Metallica had a child.
Check out Tool if you haven't then. It's more alt prog metal but it's amazing. One of the best metal drummers I've seen and a brilliant guitarist and bassist (probably one of my favourite bassists).
@@seb5542 Lol who the fuck doesnt know mainstream tool?! Go listen to Lamb of God if you dont know they have a kick ass album out this year!
@@shark7n10 I know they are very popular lol. By the way you worded it, it sounded like you where living under a rock music wise, as there are lots of heavy bands that aren't down tuned 7 strings you just haven't looked hard enough really. I only mentioned tool as I had just finished listening to them so it was fresh in my mind, and out of the twenty or so heavy bands that fit the description of at the very least not being 7 strings they where one of the most talented I could think of straight away, although yes they are definitely more popular, they play in D (I think something like that) and I could have recommended newer and unpopular bands. And thanks for the recommendation I personally quite like lamb of God.
@@seb5542 Well if you like real music i suggest you listen to bands like Starset, Beartooth and Cane Hill... Not the same old Tool... Btw their new album was a waste of my time tbh!

Corey you like seether? Its funny seeing a comment from you cuz shaun morgan and corey are my favorite musicians by far , love you both and everything you do!
Shaun Morgan is nothing short of flawless. The transformation in their music is amazing every chord every lyric they just keep getting better and better with each song and album they produce.
They just get better n better. Saw them twice. Cant wait to hear this live
That chord progression during the chorus is so NASTY!
So fun to play too.
See, Disturbed's song "Down With The Sickness" is what I would listen to if I ever went on a psychopathic rampage, but THIS song makes it personal. This song is for that one special fucker who you want to see the light leave their eyes as you torture their heart, soul, mind, and body for abusing you. Yes.
