I've been listening to rock for more than 4 decades now and in my humble opinion Seether is one of, if not THE, best bands of all time. Not only do they say what they and a lot of us feel, we've seen it happen.
Lost loves, death, addiction, recovery...
And they make awesome videos too.
Longevity and the courage to stay who they are.
True artists and I wish I could thank them personally for letting me hear how I feel and making me enjoy it whether it was joy or pain or a combination of both.
Disclaimer: I know that some band members have gone and come but the music always remained strong.
But Shaun Morgan deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as Henry Rollins, Corey Taylor, and a others as being incredibly talented and creative.

For sure...except that no!! This song is a blatant rip off of what is arguably TOOL’s most popular song “Stinkfist”! I’m surprised they didn’t get sued. I guess they just couldn’t come up with anything original anymore...sad.

Grew up with my mom playing Seether, Slipknot, Green Day, and KoRn. She showed me real music when I was young and now I can't turn back.
I love that you shared this. I am 38, and my mother passed on all the greats to me growing up... And now my almost 20 year old daughter listens to all my favorites growing up. It's part of her favorite genre. My middle daughter, that is almost 15, is growing into it now too... So of course, my youngest, at 9, already knows lyrics to our favorite songs.

Staind started off really really good but then he either wanted to go to soft or country or sold out or whatever I don't know and I'm not judging but/and he lost me, still had some good ones here and there but I like early stained just like I like most of my band's early music but then they started to go to mainstream at some point and then lost me but Seether unfortunately I slept on them because I was like oh I know that song and that song and that song and I'm like holy crap all that is Seether they have such a wide berth of music and it's also great they keep rocking
I am a dedicated Three Days Grace fan. They inspired me to get in to music. After Adam (the lead singer) left, they released a decent album, but some of the magic was gone. Adam's new band is great though.
With Linkin Park and other mainstream rock bands changing their sound and making it more commercial, I take my hat off to Seether; they are right up there for me now. Along with 3DG, Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade, Skillet etc, they have kept Rock music alive. Thank you. Please keep making great music.

I really love how even though all the other bands from this era are changing their sound (Shinedown is a prime example), Shaun and the boys are staying true to their roots. It really gives me hope that good music isn't dead.

I feel like Seether and Breaking Benjamin have always kept the same sound, more or less, and it gives me hope that maybe more bands will go back to their old sound. Linkin Park sure does bring that hope down a bit, though.

After roughly forty-fifty listens, I think this is now my favorite song of theirs. Gasoline is a very close second. This song is fantastic. They're an amazing band. They always deliver. Their new album might end up being their best work ever.

Shawn and Dale are pretty cool dudes. I’ve hung out with them and shared a few beers four times and they were just chill. Fun story: the first time I saw them the power went out and they did an unplugged show (this was pre- Disclosure II and it prompted One Cold Night). Dale got so drunk, he passed out on the sidewalk on the way to the bus and they were 50 miles away before they realized he wasn’t on the bus. Good times. Then they told my ex-wife and myself about a blow-up sheep that another fan had given them that mysteriously deflated from a cigarette burn after what Dale said was “a drunken night of passion”, lol. Doesn’t get any better than straight from the horse’s mouth...

The song has an amazing message once ears are opened by hard times that only few will grasp and hardship many may skim but few will bare to the full grip of depressions fingers and pain which comes from the depth of your heart driven up by that or those important to you

Seether has been my favorite band since 2006. Back in 2014 when isolate and medicate came out i had downloaded it a week before it released and on release day i took my last 20$ to my name to best buy to buy the album just to support the band. I also collected cans to sell for when holding onto strings better left to fray came out back in 2011 lol :)

Seether and chevelle 07 or 08 in ruston, la was the best concert night ive ever had. My boys and I were D1 O- lineman 6' 3 250 to 6' 8 330 and saw shaun and his bassist at a bar after the concert. 5 of us walked up behind him, he turned around and said, "O fck whatd I do?" We said nah man were fans. I asked him if I could buy him a beer and he said nah man let me buy you a beer. We then got hammerd on shiner and jager shots. My girl had to drive 45 mins to pick us up. Killer music and a great dude.
