  • Nigel Farage caused chaos in the European Parliament chamber by describing Presidential candidate Ursula von der Leyen's vision as 'an outdated form of communism.'
    The comment prompted MEPs to shout "shame" at Farage whom received support from his fellow Brexit Party members in the form of table banging.
    MEPs are debating von der Leyen's nomination as European Commission President before a vote later this afternoon.
    Nigel Farage insists Boris Johnson WON’T deliver Brexit and vows to hit back against new PM:

    it's simple, the government didn't have the legal authority to extend Article 50, they thought Royal Perogative was good enough but Gina Miller proved otherwise. The government needed an Act of Parliament to extend Article 50 and because they havent got that, we legally left on 29 March 2019 according to the Withdrawal Act 2017.

    When a mandate is given, when a referendum is won, there should be a law in democracy that ensures these are carried out to the letter.

    • @aleccap8863
      @aleccap8863 5 лет назад +3

      No not at all, its all about staying within the EU and even if we leave, we will still be tied to their laws and rules for 2 or 3 years before going our way. It doesn't take over 3 years to come up with a good deal to leave the EU unless you're extremely inept or deliberately deceiving the people of your country. Either way no one can clearly explain why these people still run a country when surely, they can't run a bath

    • @Red1Green2Blue3
      @Red1Green2Blue3 5 лет назад +1

      The irony of this comment is laughable. If the referendum was legally binding then it would have to be re-run as electoral law was breached. The only reason the result has been allowed to stand is because it was merely advisory. Ignorant brexiteers.

    • @aleccap8863
      @aleccap8863 5 лет назад +1

      @Jericho a no deal is when time and time again a deal without arbitration is rejected, pointless in continuing when obstacles are deliberately placed in your way. The options are viewed and the process of leaving without a deal would be a solution. The point of leaving what was the common market is now the European union and those rules should not be the same as when the UK joined, it's very difficult to leave only if you want to stay

Tell me, what has Britain done in the last decades to support the benefitial idea of a functioning Europe? Please enlighten me. You see, that´s Britain´s main problem. Blaming others for its own downfall in the last 100 years. You are stuck in the old world. Good luck with that. An by the way, what´s wrong with a European army?
