If only they would send me a controller… I want to like mine, but under 500km and it’s dead, the company doesn’t seem to care because they already got my money… I just wanna enjoy my ebike before my limited Canadian summer ends!
Had to pause when you said you were getting new mirrors. I picked up the end cap style as well and having troubles getting the current end caps off. I'm sure I can find the solution somewhere online, but if you have any pointers on removing those end caps it would be greatly appreciated. I was getting Error 05 right out of the box (now no error code, throttle does nothing). I've had a few back and forth conversations with Eahora and they've been OK with their support, but I think they're asking too much from their customers in regards to troubleshooting (I'm sure you're well aware). Do you have to remove the crank arm to access the controller? I don't see how I can get it out without completely removing that side cover and I have to check the connections at the controller to continue troubleshooting with Eahora.
@@Hit0kiriMik3 05 error code is throttle is disconnected. Try unplugging the throttle cable and plug it back in then reboot the control panel. Any time you make a change on these bikes you have to reboot the control panel. In order to remove the crank arm you will need a crank arm removal tool , Amazon has them they are cheap. Once you own that tool the control panel is very easy to get to. When you say end caps do you mean the axle nuts?
@@BigDogRidgeback I have a crank arm removal tool on the way, just wanted to make sure there wasn't another way to access the controller. I've been disconnecting and reconnecting the throttle cable while the bike was off, then turning it on to test if the throttle does anything. Is there an additional step to reboot the control panel? The end caps I'm talking about are on the handle bar grips. I'm loosening the bolt but the end is still firmly in place. I've seen it suggested to pry it off with a flat head screwdriver, but that isn't specifically in regards to the Romeo Pro 2, more so in regards to motorcycle handlebar weights (which they may be, I'm not sure). Thanks for your reply
@@Hit0kiriMik3 Try to reconnect the throttle make sure the pins in the connector aren't bent. Once that crank arm, removal tool comes in with the bike off, disconnect all the controller connections make sure you put numbers on the yellow power lines so they go back into the ones you unplug them from then plug everything back and reboot. If that doesn't work you may have a bad throttle. As for the end caps on the grips there is a small alien head screw loosen that the grips come off. Then you will need a small socket with an extension bar there's a nut inside the grips and the outside has alen head screw. While the socket is inside the grip loosen the outside alen head screw and the end cap come off.
@@BigDogRidgeback Pins are all straight, just have to wait for the removal tool to work on the controller side. Thanks for all the suggestions and help!

I've had my romeo for over a year, and I love it!! I've put well over 6k miles on it. I have had to replace my motor 3 times and every electrical component and wiring, but it's not hard to do! They honor their warranty good, too!
