Looks like a beast of a bike this will be my first E-bike looking at the Romeo pro just debating on the price. Thanks for the video.
This bike has been a lot of fun. I would like to try the Romeo, I am just not sure about the seat. Thanks for watching!
@@solojimoutdoors I got a Romeo Pro and all I can tell you is that the bike is amazing. It's heavy, but the tail end of that is that the ride is very smooth.
The seat is very comfortable and the suspension just puts the icing on the cake.
I cannot stop riding this thing.
Actually, I might have to buy another battery just to have it and see how that makes things more exciting and the distances expanded.
That is awesome. Congratulations. @@jamesbronz
So just to clear things up, this bike will not do 100 miles on throttle only, because you pedaled thr whole way and didnt get 100 miles. These companies should just tell the truth and stop exaggerating numbers.
I agree. I wish they would be a little more realistic. Most ebikes on the market don't even come close to the claimed mileage in a real-world application. Thank you for watching.
It may or may not be in the manual. But in my manual, on mine, flat even ground, level one on settings, on a new battery, it comes close, some bikes more some bikes less. Rider weight, terrain, and wind effects the numbers.
People want real world, but when isn't physics a part of real world. Or is it ignorance. Not stupid. Ignorance. Look it up.
many companies use a lightweight rider at around 10mph for max range, which is painfully slow so considering how fast you were riding that's still a lot of miles. I tried a cheap 36v 500w ebike with a 10ah battery, one small hill and it dies at 10 miles and that's mostly pedaling around 16 mph, completely useless. I imagine this ebike, kept under 20mph and pedaling would easily go 100 miles.
I've got 80+ miles on it multiple times. Still with 1 bar left on the battery. To me it's proved it and I like to start with a full battery. I've haven't rode 100 miles in a day yet. It's way better than you would expect.
I didn't load it down with gear either. Im 190ish pounds and wear a fanny pack for essentials...
I get my second one tomorrow, i bought one last December and i love this bycicle, i only were able to a 20 mile ride so far because of weather, my wife loves too ,so we decided to get another one for the memorial day weekend, we gonna ride this bycicles all day long ,i will post again about my experience with it.
Sounds like fun. Good luck!
Huii. That thing looks like the people designed the bike arround the battery not the other way around :D nice thing ^^
It does!
Thank you for the test, the Juliet 2 at 1500W 52V must be even more powerful. This means that I, at 150 lbs, exceed 100 miles. I am convinced that at my weight I can do 60 miles is pure electric
It's still 60ah so you won't really get more range, just more top speed and torque.
@@Simon-cw3ll Not really! I have experience with electric scooters and the weight affects the autonomy. More speed means less autonomy too. And you go further on your momentum by letting go of the accelerator while being lighter. I would use two motors for slopes but one motor most of the time, it saves energy. Well managed, this bike easily does 250 km
Nice bike and performs very well. You had some great scenery on the trip
Glad you enjoyed it
I bought mine last week, casted me 1,600 then some. Mine is from 2023 and yours now looked like the 2024 year! I had run mine last night 48 miles up high hills doing abought 14mph. My shocks our not good, I need to buy new ones. I am 215lbs. the new seat was fairly good. My dash is the worst ever, no manual or for help, it won't get brighter. So, I have a Wahoo top cost, otch, I had some problems and now working perfect. I wish they had a front blinker light, my other enbibed t had like motorcycle. Rear submission shocks are no need. Other than much other, I like it, so I just need to be able to see the batter amount, I am planning to get the wire from battery to a meter on dash screen. I did need to put on a new post bar and short one for 4 items to mount. Other than shocks it did okay. Thanks! 2024
Eahora should have sent you a welcome email with digital versions of both the bike manual and display manual.
a reviewer in California got 110 miles over a two day period... maybe just different conditions
Excellent video!❤🎉
I was wondering what you're thoughts were on the Juliet 2?
🕯🕯🕯
90 miles on a lot of gravel Road is not too bad. But it’s not super great considering you were peddling the whole time. I just ordered one of these bikes with two motors.
You will love it. The bike has been a lot of fun.
good evening- really excellent upload. :))
Thank you so much!
Beautiful places !
i did 15 mile son mine and its at 52.8 volts that means is will do 100 miles and im a bigger guy and i did a few hills and normal riding all throttle.. thats only 2% loss meaning my other ebike 15 miles would be 20 percent.. so these really will do 100 miles
Love it. Thank you for the info.
Interesting, thanks for posting! Is that the 48v or 52v version? Based on my own experience with a 52v 750w read-hub drive bike I guessed at the start of the video that you'd make it about 85 miles, assuming you have the 48v version. In my experience throttle only draws about 34Wh/m, so 48v x 60Ah = 2,880 Wh and 2,880 Wh / 34 Wh/m = 84.7 miles. Seems like it was pretty close!
Yep, I think I have the 48v. You are right on! Thanks for watching.
I just ordered the Juliet three dual motor 2000 W with the 48 V 60 amp hour battery. I’m like 220 pounds and most of the time I’ll be pulling my four year-old on a cart hoping to get at least 60 miles
Doing pedal assessed most of the time
Now just the bike i need
the permanence of scuuter ability is how long will it take before scuuterist rule the wurld ? goodbye to gas cars and headaches
Hi. Please tell me, is the frame steel or aluminum?
The frame is steel. It's pretty heavy but fun to ride as long as you have power.
can you drive second person on the rack and what max weight of load this rack can handle?
I would say probably not. The website states that it is rated for 60 lbs .
Just curious, and no disrespect intended, how long are your legs? I got my Juliet a couple weeks ago, and my seat post is about 6 inches higher than yours. I'm 5'-6-1/2" with a 28" inseam. I've watched a couple of your vids and your seat seems really low to me.
I have a 30" inseam. It may be low but it is comfortable to me. I may be wrong, but I was always told that your knee should be slightly bent when the pedal is at its lowest point. Thank you for watching.
a and rack this a rock an roll....
fucking hell, 2880 WH...by far the largest battery I have learned exists on an E-bike. Cool peace of transport.
It has been a lot of fun.
getting 100 miles prolly requires you to keep it at 20mph max.
Is this the 48 volt version or 52 volt?
48 volt
How do you think would do in the snow with that open frame?
Everything is sealed pretty well. I will take it out in the snow and let you know 😀
I am considering giving up autos for this bike.
It would depend on your situation, but I can tell you that is has been a good bike so far.
How fo you go into the settings in the display? Apparently tlit also has Bluetooth
Press and hold the + & - button at the same time for more than 2 seconds. I recommend consulting the owners manual. Thank you for watching.
@@solojimoutdoors my manual didn't come with instructions for the display, I've been searching it on their website and nothing has come up, just a general picture of the display, displaying what each symbol means, but thank you for the information, apparently there's cruise control based on the symbol, another one I had no idea. Hope to find it 🙌🏼
Im not understanding if you said the test is throttle only why are you pettaling?😮
Thank you for watching. Eahora claims it will do 100 miles on throttle only. I tried to do a real-world test using some pedaling so people could know what to expect out of this bike. Sorry if that was confusing.
Gt20 e-bike
is his moisture protection bad ?
It seems to be sealed pretty well.
85 miles.its not what they advertise
At the beginning of the video you said that the company says it gets 100 miles on throttle only. Then you said you were going to put it to the test. You peddled the whole ride. Not only was the company misleading but so were you.
Thanks for watching. I tried to give a real world test of the bike. Sorry if I did not communicate that well. I am new at this. I had no intention of misleading anyone. This was only the 3rd video I ever made. Thank you for your time and feedback.
@@solojimoutdoors I appreciate your feedback. I was not intending to sound rude at all. Your video was well done, I was just commenting on you saying throttle only then peddled the whole video. That was the only issue I had with your review. Otherwise it was a nice video. I hope your channel succeeds for you. I will definitely watch more of them in the future.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
If they made a dual motor and I would Probably get one.
A dual motor version would be awesome.
@@solojimoutdoors Just wondering how that would affect the consumption of the battery.
Any thoughts?
There's an AWD ebike called the H9 , that one is also available with a 60ah battery but it does cost a bit more.
I researched online and people say bad things about AWD on an Ebike😢 , but the H9 does have a RWD mode .
They just unveiled tbe romeo 2 which has dual motors
The Juliet 3 is dual motor
It's a nice bike but to much and too heavy for me
It is heavy, but as long as there is battery power, it is a joy to ride. Thank you for watching.
This video is kind of about you not looking at the bike or the terrain
Doin my best to make a review into an adventure. Sorry if it was not what you were looking for.
I can’t get this bicycle to run one or 2 miles without shutting off, there’s no way I could check this bike out for 100 mile range. It keeps shutting off. Bicycle is junk out of the box, and there is no help for you from customer support, none
That's no good. Did you buy from Amazon or direct? I have had mine over a year now and have put a few hundred miles on it now with no issues.
@@solojimoutdoors buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s the top speed?
Consistently about 32. I have not messed with the factory programming yet. Thanks for watching.
@@solojimoutdoors would this bike be good for DoorDash over the competitors, lectric xpedition, Ariel grizzly and aniioki?
@@Steviewonderwhy I am not familiar with the competitors bikes but I think this would be a great bike for DoorDash as it has a solid rack, long range and is comfortable to ride.
Hey Jim, is this real? (another Juliet owner's deep review) He got over 38 MPH even after release the throttle and letting it stay on cruise control:
Do you think this is actually possible with this heavy Ebike which is like 140 LBS not including the rider, I could see it going 32 MPH, but not 34 let alone 38,
so what's going on here starting at minute 9: see:
ruclips.net/video/gsvrZWcOOso/видео.html
I am not sure. The fastest I have gone on flat road is 33, faster downhill, but I have never messed with the settings. I know most e-bikes come from the factory limited. I may start toying with mine now it has a few miles on it, I was just worried about voiding the warranty or something. The user manual does show you how to adjust those settings. I will make a video if I do.
I don't think it voids the warranty because if the link I'll provide is correct in the case of the Juliet as well, the settings are not locked when you hack them, in other words all changes are reversible and that tells me the warranty would not be voided, I've seen other videos elsewhere I think on how it looks to do so for the Juliet, but I've lost track of where I saw it, but I did find this alternate one, and so maybe have a look when your ready: ruclips.net/video/2LTnck4To88/видео.html (he starts the adjustment at minute 4 area)
@@flolou8496 Thanks for the info. I will take a look.
