I remember being so proud of myself that I could buy Bryce 3D at my local Best Buy and have a PC that could run it decently only to model a bunch of glass balls over a water plane. Miss those days 😅
@@BolognaLover Yes, I also have a license from DAZ. Maybe if more people will spend their 20 bucks, we will eventually see a 64 bit update and HD interface. Even if there won't be any new features, I'd like to see the updated version. I would love to see larger buttons, knobs and thicker wireframe viewport lines.
@stevencote2012 Bryce is actually capable of much more than glass balls and chrome toruses. In the late 90s I sculpted some objects using Terrain, including spaceships, insane 3D text and tree bark. That was long before ZBrush and Sculptris, but it felt almost like using real clay when drawing in the terrain editor and importing height maps (modern version supports import of 16-bit grayscale PNGs, so now the very smooth sculpts are possible). And I should say, Bryce was rendering quite fast on my 166 mhz Pentium with 64 megs of RAM. Few hours were enough for making a printable image, lol
If you live in the US most people are blasting terrible music, which is likely why you haven't heard this before. This especially if you were born after the 2000s already started. What an absolutely stellar mix! I love those out-of-key mix-ins that gradually transition to in-key. What happened to the DnB of this era?
